FL Court of Appeals Upholds Judge Seidlin’s Decision, Anna Nicole Smith to be Buried in the Bahamas

A Florida Court of Appeals has upheld Judge Larry Seidlin’s decision to give he body of Anna Nicole Smith to the the court appointed guardian of Dannielynn. This portion of the law suits and appeals really needs to come to an end so that Anna Nicole Smith can just be buried. Although, it is still suspect as to why Anna Nicole and Howard K. Smith fled to the Bahamas, enough is enough. Please bury Anna and let her rest in peace.

A Florida appeals court ruled today and uphold the previous decision of Judge Larry Seidlin giving custody of the body of Anna Nicole Smith to baby Dannielynn’s court-appointed advocate, Richard Milstein. (TMZ)

In other Court action in this case, Florida judge has rejected Larry Birkhead’s lawyer’s request to take a DNA sample from Dannielynn Stern.

Finally, put the woman in the ground and let her rest in peace! Howard needs to give the baby to it’s real father Larry Birkhead, and Virgie needs to go home! I think Anna made it clear about how she felt about Texas when she packed her bag and left at 17. I just don’t feel that Virgie is in this for the baby, I think it is for the money! She lied in court and said she had not made any money from Daniel & Anna, but the pictures and the contract tell a diffrent story! And what I want to know is if she has no money how in the Hell is she paying for all these lawyers and trips down the the Bahamas!! Virgie me thinks you are telling a big one!!! I’ve noticed that Virgie likes the spot light to!!!!! All this is, is her moment of fame she’s trying to steal! And get her hands on the MONEY!!!!! Anna said many atimes on her show that her family only called when they wanted money!!!!!

Yes, bury the lady and let US rest in peace too. And yes, there’s no doubt Larry Birkhead is the father and therefore should raise the baby. Howard is merely a piece of dirt that lived off a woman for years and probably had something to do with her son’s death.

Anyone notice how bad Howard’s complexion looks. He really looks nothing like he did 1 or 2 years ago?

I did notice he has some really ugly ass Bruno M shoes on.

I sincerly hope that Larry takes this to another court to get custody of his daughter..Howard Stern is lower than a snake in the grass.

      Klaas,

Are we still going ahead with the prayer chain starting at midnight. We didn’t fill all the slots did we?

      ______________

SM:   Yes we will go ahead and do the best we can.   The first few hours are filled in.   There are some middle of the night/morning ones that need to be filled.   Hopefully the forum will be back up soon. (klaasend)

I don’t understand either one of these decisions. Regardless of how we feel about Virgie, she is Anna’s mother. I feel bad for her. She is a victim of her daughter’s addiction… a fight that she fought and lost… she probably never had any control over the things that Anna did. Personally, I don’t take anything that Anna Nicole said about her family seriously. I think it was all hype. Not that they had a good relationship, but, did anyone really have a good relationship with Anna Nicole?

It’s obvious that she didn’t like anyone that stood in the way of her and her addiction. She liked all the wrong people, most of which were responsible for giving her the one thing that she needed… methadone… regardless of the fact that she was pregnant. To Anna Nicole, that was love.

Everyone’s worried about who’s going to get the money? There probably won’t be any money… especially after all the personality flaws that have been revealed about Anna Nicole. Everyone’s talking about how manipulative Howard Stern was, but what about Anna Nicole? Isn’t it obvious that the only thing that she really cared about was her next fix? Is it possible for a woman that runs away from the father of her child, so she can carry a drug-addicted child in her womb, is capable of loving a 90 year-old man?

I don’t think Anna Nicole loved anyone… and it’s sad that the one that she hated the most, is the only one that, truly, cares about her child’s future.

Anna Nicole always liked portraying herself as the poor, little girl from the wrong side of the tracks. I guess she wanted us to think that she came out on top in the end.

      Sad….

      Klaas:

For those that are not part of the forum, are they going to be able to read the prayer chain?

      ___________

SM:   Forum is back up.   If you are so inclined to pray just join us in praying for all  then need prayers.   We are praying in 30 minute intervals for the next 24 hours. (klaasend)

Patti i agree with alot of what you said up there, people who like doing drugs don’t wanna hear anyone asking them to stop proven by her flight to Nassau to avoid Larry and child protective services.

    11. mayan_moons on March 1st, 2007 12:58 am

One thing though is we have not heard from anyone in that hospital that Anna’s baby had withdrawals from any drug whatsoever.

There is something very fishy going on with the DNA collection in this case and Im betting that Howard Stern is just positioning himself for when it comes out that he is not Dannilynns Bio father but i think he is betting that by then he will have gotten his due or what ever he has been after all these years and I am also even starting to distrust the Gurdian ad Litem to a certain extent .

    13. vicki on March 1st, 2007 8:40 am

      Rest in Peace Anna.

    14. Kat_Gram on March 1st, 2007 9:46 am

It is difficult to sort out to what extent Anna was involved with drugs. Every area of her life seems to have been a mess.Too many people who claim to “love ” her
disrespected her in the next breath. They all crawled out from under their slimy rocks to see their name and faces on the TV..like the Prince who is not.
Think that when Dr. Perpler ( the only one with any intergrity )releases the cause of death there might be some surprises. She did have a fever, she was treated for pneumonia recently, and those drugs in the Hard Rock were prescription drugs.
Her prescribing physicians might have to answer some questions.

Check out this website, it has some compelling arguments that HKS is not what he claims to be. Fun reading I assure you

They’ve already proven that Anna Nicole was being sent methadone under a prescription. They have the bills of lading, showing shipments of the drug to Nassau during Anna Nicole’s pregnancy.

I guess I am glad this woman is going to be buried with her son but I must say that I think the decision of these judges have now set an unfortunate precedent that will govern the decisions of the Florida county courts and state circuit courts up to the level of the Florida District Court of Appeal. This decision will surely have a negative affect on future decisions in Florida involving families in similar circumstances and it won’t be long until some unfortunate Florida family in a similar situation will have to appeal to the Florida Supreme Court to claim their deceased next of kin.

For ages and ages and ages it has been an adult closest next of kin who has had the responsibility and legal right to claim their dead and decide funeral arrangements and place of burial, a spouse first, and if none, the eldest child of adult age, and if none, the parents, and if none living, the eldest sibling, and so on and so on and so on. That has been an established tradition since the time our ancestors began walking upright and has been accepted as law for centuries. But it seems that might soon change in the wake of the decision of these Florida judges.

I would be very angry if the boyfriend or girlfriend of my next of kin or a court appointed stranger on behalf of the minor child of my next of kin was given the right to decide the burial arrangements of my next of kin. I would not be at all happy about that and it is upsetting to think that someday the courts higher than the District Court of Appeal in Florida will have an opportunity to do the same until it reaches the highest court and possibly become law of the land. What a depressing thought that is!
