The latest effort to find Natalee Holloway with Dutch F-16′s has yielded no results and the planes will cease searching operations as the three F-16 fighter jets are to return to base in the Netherlands.

ORANJESTAD – De drie Nederlandse F-16′s die vorige week op Aruba zochten naar het lichaam van de vermiste tiener Natalee Holloway, hebben niets gevonden.

Dat heeft Jack Goense, commandant van het detachement F-16′s, maandag bekendgemaakt. ,,Wij hebben niets opmerkelijks kunnen vinden met onze sensoren dat duidt op aanwezigheid van de vermiste persoon”, aldus Goense. ,,Dit sluit niet uit dat Holloway op het eiland is, maar voor onze sensoren is het in ieder geval niet zichtbaar.” De F-16′s hebben gedurende elf vluchten opnames gemaakt van het hele eiland, hoewel het Arubaanse onderzoeksteam alleen maar van bepaalde delen een opname wilde. ,Onze sensoren stelden ons in staat om naast de gebieden met prioriteit, het hele eiland centimeter voor centimeter in beeld te brengen.”

De F-16′s hebben inmiddels de opdracht gekregen om terug te keren naar Nederland. Het Openbaar Ministerie op Aruba wilde maandagmorgen nog niet reageren op het resultaat van het onderzoek. De 18-jarige Holloway is sinds 30 mei spoorloos. De 17-jarige Joran van der S. zit vast op verdenking van betrokkenheid. De twee Surinaamse broers Satish en Deepak K. gelden ook als verdachten, maar ze zijn vorige week vrijgelaten uit hun voorlopige hechtenis.

The Public Prosecution Service on Aruba didn`t want to react to the result of the research Monday morning, yet the 18 year old Holloway has been vanished without a trace, since may 30th the 17 year old Joran of the S. been held on suspicion of involvement. The two Surinamese brothers Satish and Deepak k. are being considered also as suspects, but they have been last week released from their provisional detention.

CNN: Dutch jets find no sign of missing teen

Final examinations of the photos will be conducted back in the Netherlands, Aruban government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg said.

But authorities are “99 percent sure” that Holloway, who was last seen early on May 30, is no longer on the island, he said.

Three F-16s from the Dutch air force, equipped with lasers and special cameras, made several passes over the island last week in hopes of finding some clue to Holloway’s disappearance.

Beth Twitty Not Responsible for Loss of Job Because of Comments

Last week when Beth Twitty went on Aruban radio to apologize for her comments she made regarding the Kalpoe brothers, many Arubans wanted her to do even more. Many callers including John Merryweather, protest organizer stated that Mrs. Ramirez, the Kalpoe brother’s mom lost her job at the Steakhouse at Manchebo because of the words that Beth Twitty had said. So on top of the fact of dealing with the vanishing of her daughter and the uproar over the comments she made; Beth is also some how responsible for a lost job. Many people insinuated that it was Beth’s fault because of her words was why Ramirez was fired and that she should some how feel bad and talk to the Manchebo Steak House to help get her job back. I wonder where Mr. Merryweather’s and others apologies are to Beth?

Not so fast. According to Amigoe.com, ‘Ontslag voor moeder Kalpoe-broers’.

ORANJESTAD — “Het ontslag van Nadira Ramirez, de moeder van Statish en Deepak Kalpoe, heeft niks te maken met de zaak-Holloway of het feit dat zij de moeder is van de broers Kalpoe”, zo verklaart Ike Cohen, directeur van het Manchebo hotel.

Hereby Cohen reacts to the expressions of Ramirez in a morning newspaper that says that her firing relates to the Holloway-case. Cohen: “We have given Mrs. Ramirez the reasons for the firings, both verbally and in writing It is not up to us make the reasons for this firing public, since we are of the opinion that it would violate the privacy of Mrs. Ramirez.

The alleged reason that Ramirez was fired would have been fraud. After being off from her work on Monday and Tuesday because of the freeing of her sons Ramirez appeared Wednesday again at her work in the Steakhouse of Manchebo. She was called to the Management, her thinking was that she would have been congratulated. This was not the case. In presence of her highest boss Cohen was she told that she was fired. The alleged fraud would have been committed when she cancelled orders that the clients ate or drank, thus Ramirez would have allegedly put the money in her own pocket. Ramirez denies to have committed fraud and is thinking of fighting her ficanceledring. Ramirez worked nine years in the Steakhouse at Manchebo.

Should Supreme Court Justice Lose his Family Home?

After voting with the majority to take away private property rights from the common citizen and placing them in the hands of the government, some tax paying citizens are showing him the error of his ways.

Logan Darrow Clements is leading the charge to take away David Souters family home in New Hampshire. He is proposing a hotel on the property and tearing down the house on the property. The rational is for this is predicated upon the Supreme Court’s decision that allows the local governments to condemn properties and give the land to private developers for the sake of improving tax revenue.

So Clements wants to turn the Souter property into a Hotel. The makeup of the Weare, New Hampshire government allows the towns citizens to vote on referendums, so this may actually pass.

I would love the example to be set, with Souter losing his family home as he emperils one of the most important rights that our constitution has given us. The erosion of private property rights is one that could undermine our free market economy, and our way of life.

Maybe this personal example will teach the Supreme Court that they have to live under the laws they create.

Investigation of Aruban Police Force?

Who knew anyone was planning and investigation of the Aruban police force? What reason would there be for one?

The Natalee Holloway case certainly has Aruba upside down. There is a lot of pressure on the Government and on the investigating team.

According to Eric Zaandam, president of the Police union SPA, it is unfortunate that the case has not yet been solved, but more unfortunate are the negative expressions towards the police force by amongst others the Minister of Justice, Rudy Croes, and by Prime Minister Nelson Oduber.

Looks like it could be getting a little testy on the island between the Government and the investigative bodies in Aruba.

“This is to regretted because, instead of receiving support our own Government dignitaries express themselves negatively about the police” said Zaandam. “Minister Rudy Croes even mentioned that he will bring in a police team from Curaà §ao to investigate their colleagues in Aruba.”

Eric Zaandam wishes for the Minister of Justice to understand once and for all that the investigating team is responsible and has to report to the Public Prosecutor, and this happens all the time. The investigating team has no obligation to report to anybody else, including the Minister of Justice. The Minister may well bring any team from abroad but the Aruba Police Force will not report to any team.

If the Aruba Minister of Justice wants information, he will have to approach the Public Prosecutor, and not accuse any member of the investigating team of leaking information. The investigating team did not commit any crime and an investigation is not necessary.

“The Aruba Police have already cooperated with all the teams that wished to help with the investigation of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, except Scotland Yard” said Zaandam.

In police circles it is already agreed that they will not collaborate with any team that comes in to investigate the investigating team of the Natalee Holloway case.

WHAT? This sounds like a great way to solve an investigation. Wonder who gave that order to the police?
