How Small of Obama on the RNC, ‘It should be a pretty entertaining show’ … As the GOP Governors Beat Obama Up with Barack’s “You Did Not Build It” Comment and Wowed the Crowd
Barack Obama, Lost in smallness yet again, add in some snark and a dash of sarcasm as he commented on the RNC, ‘It should be a pretty entertaining show’. Just how petty could this president get?
Dear Mr. President, it may have been truthfully entertaining; however, it was more enlightening, inspiring and invigorating! Let me inform Barack Obama and the Democrats, don’t look now but the GOP has a young, deep, diverse bench.
The GOP trotted out rock star after rock star governors that took Obama’s failed economic polices apart. Governors Nikki Haley (SC), Scott Walker (WI), John Kasich (OH) to name a few took to the stage and politically beat Obama upside his head with his ridiculous and foolish comment to small business owners that “you did not build it”. Then there was Keynote speaker New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who reminded Obama, “real leaders do not follow polls, real leaders change polls.”
As stated at Hot Air, “a whole gamut of Republican governors did indeed take to the stage to refute your erroneous “top-down” baloney this evening, in the knowledge that a huge, meddlesome bureaucracy that thinks it knows best and taxes success is the real definition of “top-down.” The GOP governors told the success stories of their own states recoveries that were polar opposites of Obama’s failed bottom up, middle out, government dependent nanny state agenda.
Ohio Gov. Kasich like I have never heard hims before, “We need a new partner in Washington. This relationship is just not working”
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker got some of the biggest applause of the night … Wisconsin now a swing state
Nikki Haley’s RNC Speech 8/28/12, “President Obama. with all due respect, don’t tell me my parents did not build their business.”
“We said in South Carolina that if you have to show a picture ID to buy Sudafed, if you have to show a picture ID to set foot on an airplane. Then you should have to show picture ID to protect one of the most valuable, sacred rights in America, the right to vote.”
Governor Chris Christie Speech at Republican National Convention RNC

We need politicians to care more about doing something and less about being something.
Believe me, if we can do this in a blue state with a conservative Republican Governor, Washington is out of excuses.
Leadership delivers.
Leadership counts.
Leadership matters.
We have this leader for America.
We have a nominee who will tell us the truth and who will lead with conviction. And now he has a running mate who will do the same.
We have Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan, and we must make them our next President and Vice President.
Mitt Romney will tell us the hard truths we need to hear to put us back on the path to growth and create good paying private sector jobs again in America.
Former Democrat Congressman Artur Davis & Man Who Seconded Obama’s Nomination in 2008 Speaks at the 2012 RNC Supporting Mitt Romney
WHAT A DIFFERENCE 4 YEARS MAKES …
In 2008 Rep. Artur Davis (AL-D), the four term Democrat Congressman, seconded the nomination of Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention and served as an Obama campaign co-chairman. However, four years later and too many extreme and far Left policies,Artur Davis has left the Democrat part and is speaking at the 2012 Republican National Convention. Artur Davis asked for a second chance that was the parallel to the theme of his speech, asking to “Let’s Take This Country Back”. The only thing missing was The Who’s music playing in the background, ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’.
There are Americans who voted for the president, but who are searching right now, because they know that their votes didn’t build the country they wanted.
To those Democrats and independents whose minds are open to argument: listen closely to the Democratic Party that will gather in Charlotte and ask yourself if you ever hear your voice in the clamor.
Ask yourself if these Democrats still speak for you.
When they say we have a duty to grow government even when we can’t afford it, does it sound like compassion to you — or recklessness?
Thank you for Welcoming me to where I belong …

The Democrats’ ads convince me that Governor Romney can’t sing, but his record convinces me he knows how to lead, and I think you know which skill we need more.
Now, America is a land of second chances, and I gather you have room for the estimated 6 million of us who know we got it wrong in 2008 and who want to fix it.
Maybe we should have known that night in Denver that things that begin with plywood Greek columns and artificial smoke typically don’t end well.
Maybe the Hollywood stars and the glamour blinded us a little: you thought it was the glare, some of us thought it was a halo.
But in all seriousness, do you know why so many of us believed? We led with our hearts and our dreams that we could be more inclusive than America had ever been, and no candidate had ever spoken so beautifully.
But dreams meet daybreak: the jobless know what I mean, so do the families who wonder how this Administration could wreck a recovery for three years and counting.
More amazing words from Artur Davis speaking to Independents and open minded Democrats:
To those Democrats and independents whose minds are open to argument: listen closely to the Democratic Party that will gather in Charlotte and ask yourself if you ever hear your voice in the clamor.
Ask yourself if these Democrats still speak for you.
When they say we have a duty to grow government even when we can’t afford it, does it sound like compassion to you — or recklessness?
When you hear the party that glorified Occupy Wall Street blast success; when you hear them minimize the genius of the men and women who make jobs out of nothing, is that what you teach your children about work?
When they tell you America is this unequal place where the powerful trample on the powerless, does that sound like the country your children or your spouse risked their lives for in Iraq or Afghanistan?
Prior to his speech at the RNC, Former Democrat Rep. Artur Davis, one of Barack Obama’s former 2008 campaign co-chairs, explained why he switched parties to CNN’s Wolf Biltzer. For his epiphany, Davis was attacked by the Black Congressional Caucus for leaving the Democrat plantation.
Oh, and by the way MSNBC did not broadcast this speech either.

GOP Utah Candidate for US Congress Mia Love Brings Down the House at RNC Convention Even Though MSNBC Never Showed It
A STAR IS BORN … MIA LOVE!!!
Ann Romney may have won the night and electrified the crowd at the RNC Convention, however, Mia Love was a close, close second. Mia Love, the current Mayor of Saratoga Springs, UT and GOP candidate for U.S. Congress made a splash on the major political scene last night in an inspiring and enthusiastic way. The 36 year old Love is the daughter of Haitian immigrants with $10 and a dream.
Enter Mia Love, the 36-year-old daughter of Haitian immigrants and a Republican congressional candidate in Utah. Should she win, she would be the first-ever black Republican woman to win a seat in Congress.
In a speech that drew sustained applause at the GOP convention Tuesday night, Ms. Love recounted her parents’ journey to the U.S., saying they arrived with only $10 in their pockets.
She made apparent references to civil-rights icons Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Our story has been told over 200 years, with small steps and giant leaps, from a woman on a bus to a man with a dream,” she said.
“Mr. President I’m here to tell you the American people are awake and we’re not buying what you’re selling in 2012!”
VIDEO Hat Tip: Mediaite:
She hit President Obama for dividing America and failing the nation over the course of his first term. “His policies have failed us. We’re not better off than we were four years ago. And no rhetoric, bumper sticker or Hollywood campaign ad can change that,” Love fired out to the applause of the crowd.
“Mr. President, I’m here to tell you the American people are awake and we’re not buying what you’re selling in 2012,” Love continued to applause.
Love went on to praise the American dream which she called her story and the story of millions of her fellow citizens. “This is the America we know because we built it,” said Love to spontaneous chants of “U.S.A” from the crowd.
However, a sad and disgustingly bias thing happened on the way to this bright, fiery star of the GOP giving her speech … MSNBC decided not to air it. And it was not just Love’s speech they did not show their viewers, they also did not show the speeches of Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American. I am sensing a theme here. MSNBC, the liberal media outlet that is so quick to say that the Republican party is not ethnic enough purposely and willfully with malice and forethought did not air the speeches of Republican minorities. Yea, no media bias there now, is there?
If you were watching MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday’s festivities.
In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.
Sorry, MSNBC is not a media outlet. It is nothing more than a race-baiting, propaganda arm of the Democrat party and namely Barack Obama. Although there is a part of me that is not surprised, another part of me thinks they have sunk to a new low. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Ann Romney Wins the Night … Lights Up the RNC with a Tremendous Speech … “Mitt doesn’t like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point” (VIDEO)
WOW, JUST WOW … ANN ROMNEY LIT UP THE RNC WITH A TREMENDOUS SPEECH.
Tonight I want to talk to you from my heart about our hearts.
“I want to talk not about what divides us, but what holds us together as an American family. I want to talk to you tonight about that one great thing that unites us, that one thing that brings us our greatest joy when times are good, and the deepest solace in our dark hours.
“Tonight I want to talk to you about love. …
Ann Romney, the wife of GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney, hit her speech out of the park and introduced Mitt to America as a warm loving husband who was a problem solver and who “has helped lift up others.” Ann praised the hard work of her husband at every job he has had and said to America that Mitt will work hard for America to turn the US around and … “THIS MAN WILL NOT FAIL”, “This man will not let us down”. “This man will lift up America!”
“ However, one of Ann’s best lines of the night was when she said that “Mitt doesn’t like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point.”
“This is the man who will wake up every day with the determination to solve the problems that others say can’t be solved, to fix what others say is beyond repair,” she is to say about her husband, according to the excerpts. “This is the man who will work harder than anyone so that we can work a little less hard.”
“I read somewhere that Mitt and I have a ‘storybook marriage,’ ” she is to say. “Well, in the storybooks I read, there were never long, long, rainy winter afternoons in a house with five boys screaming at once. And those storybooks never seemed to have chapters called MS or Breast Cancer.”

“I Want To Talk To You About Love” ~ Ann Romney’s RNC Speech 8/28/12
Some excerpts from Ann’s speech:
And I want us to think tonight about the love we all share for those Americans, our brothers and sisters, who are going through difficult times, whose days are never easy, nights are always long, and whose work never seems done.
They are here among us tonight in this hall; they are here in neighborhoods across Tampa and all across America. The parents who lie awake at night side by side, wondering how they’ll be able to pay the mortgage or make the rent; the single dad who’s working extra hours tonight, so that his kids can buy some new clothes to go back to school, can take a school trip or play a sport, so his kids can feel. like the other kids.
And the working moms who love their jobs but would like to work just a little less to spend more time with the kids, but that’s just out of the question with this economy. Or that couple who would like to have another child, but wonder how will they afford it.
[...]
But let me say this to every American who is thinking about who should be our next president:
No one will work harder. No one will care more. No one will move heaven and earth like Mitt Romney to make this country a better place to live!
It’s true that Mitt has been successful at each new challenge he has taken on. It amazes me to see his history of success actually being attacked. Are those really the values that made our country great? As a mom of five boys, do we want to raise our children to be afraid of success?
Do we send our children out in the world with the advice, “Try to do… okay?”

Everyone is Speculating Who Is Thursday’s Mystery RNC Speaker? … Sarah Palin, Nancy Reagan?
The media is a buzz as to who Thursday’s mystery speaker at the Republican National Convention might be. Some say Sarah Palin, General David Petraeus or maybe Nancy Reagan. How about VP Ryan’s mom Betty? Could there be a Ron Paul sighting? That would be kind of awesome to have Nancy appear and use her famous line from the 1980′s … Just Say No to Obama.
Republican convention planners appear to have a surprise planned for those tuning in Thursday night.
Buried deep in the convention schedule released Monday is a vague reference to a mystery speaker scheduled for the event’s final evening. “To Be Announced” has a prime speaking slot late in the Thursday program.
Who do you think it might be?
