Statement from the Aruban Prosecutors Office Regarding Joran Van der Sloot and the Natalee Holloway Investigation … I was High on Marijuana

So what happens when a suspect in a crime gets caught telling the truth? EXCUSE … EXCUSE … EXCUSE!!! Joran says he was high. Actually one would have to be stoned to believe he was not involved in Natalee Holloway’s disappearance as he admitted to.

Joran Van der Sloot was questioned by Dutch investigators for 2 hours in the Joran greta2Netherlands today. In typical Joran Van der Sloot fashion, who has an excuse for everything, he claimed that he was under the influence of marijuana when he said in a secretly taped video. Marijuana made you lie? Really, if anything pot would lower your inhibitions and make one say things that they would usually not. Maybe Joran was using it for medicinal purposes? So Joran states he was under the influence of marijuana on the tapes. Maybe Joran would like to tell us what Natalee Holloway was under the influence of when in less that 1/2 hour he left Carlos N’ Charlies with her, and she was never to be seen from again.

It would appear that Joran always has an excuse for every lie he tells. If he is not scared, he is embarrassed. If he is not embarrassed, he is high on drugs. How about the fact that that you were caught with your pants down bragging of your claim to fame like all sociopaths wind up doing. After all this time, this is the defense you are using? You were high? You were not high Joran … you were caught!

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — Aruban investigators in the Netherlands again questioned a Dutch college student Friday in the Natalee Holloway disappearance as they sought a court order to detain him as a suspect based on a hidden-camera interview.

Police questioned Joran Van der Sloot for about two hours, and he again denied any role in the May 2005 disappearance of the American teen in the Dutch Caribbean island, the Aruban prosecutor’s office said in a statement. The 20-year-old Van der Sloot was detained previously in the case but was released for insufficient evidence.

Van der Sloot, who was accompanied by a lawyer, claimed he was under the influence of marijuana when he said in a secretly taped video that he was with Holloway when she died and that he had a friend dump her body at sea, the prosecutor’s office said.

Joran Van der Sloot and OM Talk in the Netherlands … Oduber Only Worried About Aruban Ecomomy.

As the case of Joran Van der Sloot and his involvement in the disappearance Aruba Tour for Dumand death of Natalee Holloway heats up after the release of the Peter R. De Vries tapes, Aruba once again shows what’s important to them … their tourism. While plans are made for Hans Mos, the Aruban Public Prosecutor, to meet with Joran Van der Sloot in the Netherlands, the Prime Minister of Aruba, Nelson Oduber, and tourism officials are more intent on discussing tourism rather than the crime that happened on their island. As they tried to do from day one when Natalee Holloway went missing … they just want it all to go away.

For prime Minister Nelson Oduber, the Holloway-case cannot be over with fast enough.  He said in Nova that Aruba has already lost tens of millions American dollars in damages, due to the Natalee Holloway case.

Aruba and its police officials have some serious explaining to do as to why certain questions were asked in the beginning of the investigation with regards to Natalee Holloway having a history of seizures.

However, Aruban tourism officials continue to be in s state of denial when it comes to why their tourism went into the tank in 2005 and thereafter following the disappearance and handling of the Holloway case. There was no economic recession in 2005. As for oil prices, they have been higher following 2005. Aruba, if you don’t think that the way you handled the Natalee Holloway case had anything to do with your tourism drop, then I guess you will not mind when people continue to boycott your island until there is  … Justice for Natalee.

It appeared from a tourist inquiry that the Natalee Holloway-case was also not the most important factor for the tourism to drop in 2005.  The most important reasons were the oil prices, the economic recession, expensive airline tickets, fewer hotel rooms due to renovations (some hotels were even close), and hurricanes.  The effect of the Holloway-case was already to a smaller extent at that time.

Aruban Police Corruption … Why Would ALE Have Asked Questions of Natalee & Epilepsy to Jug and Beth Holloway in first 48 Hours?

CORRUPTION!!!

They knew from the very beginning … and covered it up.

The Aruban police have some serious questions that need to be answered. Why did they ask Jug Twitty and Beth Holloway with in the first 48 hours of Natalee Holloway going missing if she was epileptic or had seizures? Dana Pretzer on Scared Monkeys radio asked Jug Twitty that very question in an interview on December 20, 2007.

We later learn from the just released secret recordings of Peter R. De Vries that Joran Van der Sloot is referencing that Natalee Holloway was shaking and became unresponsive. Beth Holloway and Greta Van Susteren discuss that very point HERE.

You can also watch Greta’s interview with Jug Twitty HERE where she references Jug’s past interview with Dana Pretzer on Scared Monekys radio discussing the police questioning regarding Natalee having past history of seizures.

The Aruban police knew from the outset of this case what had happened from either an admission or confession from Joran Van der Sloot and did nothing. How else could they have know to ask the seizure and epilepsy questions to Jug and Beth? So with that knowledge and line of questioning within 48 hours of Natalee’s disappearance, what did the Aruban police do? They arrested two black security guard.
