Hey Aruba … No Body, No Crime, REALLY??? Jessica O’Grady Missing & Presumed Dead … Edwards is now serving 80 years to life

No body, No Crime … Only in Aruba and when a crime is committed like in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. In other places where people take crime seriously there are arrests, prosecutions and convictions made without a body all the time. Like in the case of missing Nina Reiser and her husband Hans Reiser who is presently on trial for her murder. Or in the case of Kendrick Williams as well. Its only in places like Aruba where a cover up of a crime takes precedent over a crime against an individual where justice is denied that such actions are condoned. It would appear that only in Aruba does Paulas Van der Sloot’s comments of “No Body, No Crime” ring true.

Satish says to Joran: I didn’t declare anything.
Joran says to the brothers: Of course you did.
Satish says to Joran: What did I say / against your father?
Joran says to the brothers: You said that he (Joran’s father) said that if there’s no corpse there’s no case, or I don’t know what more sorts of shit.
Joran says to the brothers: That’s not true, the only thing he (Joran’s father) said that if there’s no body there don’t have a case.

Aruban Police Act Faster with Hit & Run Incident than they Did With Disappearance of Natalee Holloway

Police Priorities in Aruba …

Here is a sense of priority in Aruba. The police acted faster and made an arrest immediately after former Justice Minister Hendrick Croes was involved in a hit and run incident than they did after Alabama teen Natalee Holloway went missing. Its a good thing that there were not any black security guards near by where the incident took place. However, in Aruba they refuse to make an arrest an prosecution for all the wrong reason.

Hendrik Croes detained after colliding with a police officer (Amigoe: 3/17/2008)

Lawyer Hendrik Croes while leaving the airport after having made a statement about the possible hit and run-accident with a police officer.

ORANJESTAD – Lawyer and former Justice-minister Hendrik Croes was taken into custody early this morning for having collided with a police officer on Sunday in the afternoon and failed to stop after the accident.  The situation escalated yesterday when police union SPA incited her members to ‘bring everything to a standstill’ if Croes is not arrested.  The Public Prosecutor (OM) called on everybody to ‘stay calm’, especially the parties in the labour dispute between the government and the public employees’ unions.

Natalee Holloway: Aruba, Still Stuck on Stupid … Besides Suing Greta and the Media, Here are Some other Suggestions

Just recently Aruba and the AHATA sent a letter to Greta Van Susteren threatening legal action if they continued to slander Aruba regarding their tourism and the Natalee Holloway investigation. Slander was defined by actually telling the truth as to what has transpired since the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005. This is why its so easy to boycott Aruba. When people take so little responsibility for their actions and blame others, it becomes an easy call to condemn.

Besides the obvious, that there is freedom of speech in the United States, criminal defense attorney Michael Cardoza pointed to another obvious fact when it comes to proving damages.

If you are sued, you can talk about it even more. This law suit is about as well thought out as their investigation was, or this threatened lawsuit.

How are they going to prove damages, number one? Damages cannot be speculative. (Read full transcript HERE)

Since Aruba wants to ridiculously threaten people with legal action who are doing nothing more that stating the truth, we thought we would provide Aruba a further list of people that they need to sue who are to blame for their countries dwindling tourism.

VAN SUSTEREN: The other thing is that nothing is stated in here, nothing specific, nothing at all. What is it that we said? That they have not solved the case?

WILLIAMS: That there are idiots down there doing the investigation.

Here are some more suggestions, feel free to add your own as well.

#1. Menno Dolman, criminal law scholar of the University of Amsterdam and Hans Nijboer, criminal law expert of the University of Leiden. Both of these astute criminal scholars criticized and referred to the Aruban investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway as follows:

  • It is incomprehensible that police, after an important tip about the location of Natalee Holloway’s body, to not go search immediately.”
  • “This is very strange”. “Normally the area is closed off immediately, to dig and search for clues, but not in Aruba”.
  • “Total madness”
  • “This is a total error”.
  • “You do not give out information that only the guilty could know.”

#2. Steve Cohen, the Aruban Government Spokesman. Cohen had constantly made statements that the case was botched in the first 48 hours and even made a reference on Court TV during an interview with Red that evidence may have disappeared. Watch the VIDEO here.

The misses opportunities happened within the first 48 hours … But I will agree with Red, there is no question that the physical evidence that existed at that point which was critical in solving this case either disappeared or was not there.

It was Steve Cohen who was the one who said that “suspects had sex with Natalee Holloway”. Then Cohen took back those comments as the OM and ATA became incensed and unhappy over his truthfulness.

#3. Joran Van der Sloot Defense attorney Joe Tacopina. How many times did Joe Tacopina call the Aruba police, prosecutors and investigators incompetent? Also, Joe Tacopina needs to be sued for his continual throwing mud against the wall defense of Joran Van der Sloot. After all, what’s good for Joran Van der Sloot is terrible for Aruba.

#4. Joran Van der Sloot. In many ways, including the obvious, if it were not for Joran no one would ever need cover this case. Also, Joran Van der Sloot has kept this case in the media with his continual need for attention. So many times many had thought the story of Natalee Holloway had drifted from the media’s eye only to be brought back by actions of Joran Van der Sloot like law suits, book deals and being caught on tape. Aruba … your favorite son Joran has affected your tourism more than anyone.

#5. LESLEY VANCE, ALABAMA STATE REPRESENTATIVE:

Well, Tucker, as we had indicated before and we said at news conference today in Montgomery, we have nothing against the people, the citizens of Aruba.  Our concern is with the leadership and the government officials in Aruba.  We don‘t believe they have come forward.  They should have.

Well, you know, Tucker, this is one of the things that we have also that we can do a little bit later on, but we are hoping that what we are trying to do now by the boycott of Aruba will certainly bring the officials down there to the table, so to speak, and do something and bring those who are responsible for Natalee Holloway‘s disappearance, bring them to justice.

And that‘s all we‘re asking, is bring those who are guilty and bring them to justice, and then we can all get on with our lives.

#6. BETTY NGUYEN, CNN ANCHOR. Add another media type to the list.

Beth Holloway Speaks out to Teens on Safety, Faith and Hope: “I want them to remember Natalee.”

As Spring Break comes upon us again we are reminded of the of the story, Beth_Holloway_LovingNatalee legacy and lessons learned from the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. It’s not only about “Justice for Natalee” its also about providing a message of safety for all teens to follow. There is no better person to provide the message of Safety, Faith and Hope than Beth Holloway.

As Aruba continues to provide no answers or justice for the family of Natalee Holloway, Beth Holloway continues her message to teenagers and their parents so that no one ever need to meet the Holloway’s same fate. Aruba continues to wonder why they have been branded as unsafe and corrupt. Is it really that difficult to understand? Nearly three years have gone by and all look on and see that Aruba cares little to provide “Justice for Natalee”.

“I want young adults and parents to open a dialogue about safety and what you need to know about personal safety on these trips,” she said. “I want them to remember Natalee.”

Alabamians, along with the rest of the nation and the world, were riveted by the news of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance in Aruba on a spring break trip to the country in May 2005. Many could only guess at the grief of a mother losing her daughter so suddenly.

In the months after, and as Beth Holloway began to realize that Natalee may never come back to their Birmingham-area home, Holloway was thrust into the spotlight by others who wanted to hear her story and how her faith had grown in the aftermath.

Holloway responded by spending a year traveling from city to city and state to state sharing the message of an organization she founded in the wake of Natalee’s disappearance, the International Safe Travels Foundation, which was designed to inform and educate the public about how to stay safe when traveling internationally.
