Aruba Triple Murder: Son Eugene Lampe Confesses to Triple Murder … Compare & Contrast to Natalee Holloway Death & Disappearance

What a difference a crime makes and who committed the crime. It would appear that Eugene Lampe initially made false comments to the police that made them skeptical of his initial statement. Did Eugene say that he dropped his 3 murdered family members off at the Holiday Inn as Joran Van der Sloot had once done? Did Eugene Lampe say he left his murdered family on the beach?

Two crimes … two drastically different outcomes. Yes, the crimes are different in nature; however, why would the ALE not have initially believed the story in once case but in another allowed the fraud to continue?

In the end it is nice to have friends in high places that can exert power and influence.

Crime Not Limited to Natalee Holloway in Aruba, Safe Island Paradise? (Lampe family) Mother, Father and Son Murdered in Santa Cruz … Suspect in Custody

Three members of the Lampe family, Juan, Aura and Edvard, were found murdered in a house in located at Macuarima 127-c in Santa Cruz in Aruba. One of the Lampe sons, (E.J.L) Eugene Lampe, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson, murder, and manslaughter. I guess its considered an Aruba criminal investigation victory following a murder when two black security guards are not immediately arrested on suspicion of a crime committed.  However, see the comment below by the Public Prosecutor. Looks like a homicide? Is that kind a like 3 gun shots to the back of the head looks like a suicide!

The Public Prosecutor said today that the exact cause of death is not yet determined, but based on the state of the bodies when they were found, it looks like a homicide.

The reports are that Eugene Lampe is a drug addict.  Has it not been reported in the past in Aruba that they have a major problem with drug addicts on One Happy and Drug Addicted Island and that they “may be a father, mother, brother or sister, neighbor or friend.” Also HERE and HERE.

Think again when one is told that its safe. A drug addicted society is a real danger to those who would be on vacation with blinders on, told by all that its a safe island.

Isn’t This Comforting. Civil servants are going to strike again in Aruba … Air traffic controllers Tower to be Staffed with Two People

Its ok in Aruba to strike when it comes to wages, but not safety. These are the same people that state that its wrong to boycott Aruba with regards to “Justice for Natalee”. However, its perfectly fine for employees to protest and put others in harms way in the process.

Tourist traveling to Aruba, be on guard … the air traffic control tower employees are on strike and the air traffic control tower will be only staffed with two people. There is some concern and safety for tourists flying to Aruba. It is simply amazing that individuals in Aruba will strike when its about the money, but do not strike, protest or even complain when its about justice. There also seems to be a general apathy when it comes to tourist safety, rather than the almighty florin. If Aruba thinks it has tourism issues now following the shoddy investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, they best hope and pray that nothings happens to any commercial flights while air traffic controllers are on strike.

The first walk out will be that of the air traffic controllers starting tomorrow at 13:00, and followed by a general strike on Monday from 08:30 on.

The employees working at the airport and in the harbour must inform the government of their actions 24 hours in advance.  The unions announced the action of the air traffic controllers in a letter to the government yesterday.  The tower will be staffed by just two people tomorrow from 13:00 till 18:00.

Mother of Natalee Holloway Summons Van der Sloots … Van der Sloots Being Sued

If the Aruba Courts do not want to do anything in the criminal matter of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, then Beth Twitty will as she sues. It has been almost 3 years since Natalee Holloway went missing on Aruba. Since then Aruba has done nothing except make a mockery of the investigation and prosecution of this case. Since Aruba is not willing to prosecute, Beth Holloway will.

As this case goes forward against Joran and the Van der Sloots more public attention will be provided to the case and negative PR for Aruba. If Aruba will not and cares not to find answers for the Holloway/Twitty family and provide “Justice for Natalee”, then the family will. From the very beginning of this case the family has had to take the lead, it appears they will have to again in order to pry answers out of Aruba and the Van der Sloots as to what happened and who is responsible for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Beth Twitty, the mother of Natalee Holloway, has summoned the whole family of Joran van der Sloot. Peter R. De Vries and Patrick van der Eem are heard under oath about their role before the court.

That reports the Telegraaf. Joran and his parents have to appear before the court and will be heard under oath about their role in the disappearance of Holloway.

Shock
The summons are part of a series of injunctions, in which the struggle of Twitty now officially has begun. She demands a substantial damage from Joran, a compensation for the “shock damage” that Joran has given her.

Aruba Boasts of 13.6% Increase in Colombian Tourists … To Bad they Only Represent 1.74% of Aruban Tourism

Sound the horns and let the pigeons loose in Aruba … there was a 13.6% increase in visitors to Aruba from Colombia. Aruba, your tourism is saved. I guess you have nothing more to fear and worry about from people expressing their First Amendment Constitutional Rights to protest and have their voice be heard in demanding “Justice for Natalee” at travel shows in the United States.

The bad news for Aruba is that their good news is a double edge sword. First, Colombian travelers only represent 1.74% of their tourism as a whole. This is hardly something to get excited about. The increase of 1580 tourists a year is not the things that should get the ATA and AHATA ready to through a party.

Secondly, Aruba better figure out what the likes and dislikes are of their greatest percentage of tourists to their island. Americans do not like change, especially when they go to the same tourist destination. Aruba has already lost those that consciously relate “Justice for Natalee” and missing Natalee Holloway to Aruba. Now they will lose the people that went to Aruba for the same old, same old vacation for years and years. To tell the average person from America that there is a 14% increase in Colombians to the place that they consider a tourist destination is hardly a ringing endorsement to go to Aruba. That is the perception. The more Aruba brings in other types of tourists, the less Americans will travel there. That is the reality.
