PPP, Another Democrat Leaning Poll Weighted +4 Democrats with Faux Results, Obama’s lead up to 5 in Ohio Over Romney, 50%-45%
How disingenuous could some of these political polls really be?
Once again the PPP poll has come out with some rather suspect polling, done so to make it appear that Barack Obama got some kind of tremendous bounce from the DNC convention. The PPP poll shoes that Obama has a 5 point lead over Mitt Romney in the battleground state of Ohio, 50% to 45%. Really? Is that your final answer? In order to get this polling data for Obama to be up by 5, the sampling used was as follows, Sampling of the PPP poll: Democrats 41%, Republican 37%, Independent/Other 22%. The full polling results can be seen HERE.
Both candidates have seen their images improve with Ohio voters in the wake of the conventions. Obama now breaks even in his approval rating at 48%, after being under water with 46% of voters approving and 51% disapproving of him a month ago. Romney’s numbers are up from a 41/52 favorability rating a month ago as well, but he still remains unpopular. Only 44% see him favorably to 49% with a negative opinion. Romney actually leads 46-44 with independents but Obama has the overall advantage thanks to a more unified party base. He leads 86/11 with Democrats, compared to Romney’s 83/13 advantage with Republicans.
With all due respect to OTB, I would hardly consider polling sampling used from exit polling from 2008 that was a once in a lifetime election with Obama/Democrat voting at record highs and Republican voting suppressed. Yes, I do tend to dismiss the PPP poll. Sorry, when a candidate has a lead with the all important Independent vote, I find it a bit unrealistic to believe that Obama is up by 5.
We shall see in November and how many more bad jobs reports come out. What we conveniently do not see in the poll is who do Ohioians think Obama has handled the number one issue in the United States, the economy. Sorry, this poll is what is called an outlier to get to the magical unicorn number of 50%.

Guess Who Went Off Teleprompter Again & Pulled a Biden … Obama Tells Audience, “Three Proud Words – Made in the USA!”
Some how I hardly think this is Reaganesque or Lincolnesque; however, it might be Bidenesque. Barack Obama does his best impression of Joe Biden …What a great team, The Gaffetastic Duo.
President Barack Obama once again went off his teleprompter and loses the ability to string together a coherent sentence. The smartest President to ever grace the White House, or so we are told, said to a campaign crowd, American manufacturers are making products that we can sell around the world, stamped with “three proud words” … MADE IN THE USA. DOH!!!
Speaking to a roaring crowd, the president said American manufacturers are making products that we can sell around the world, stamped with “three proud words.”
What are they? According to Obama, the “three” words are: “Made in the USA.”
I wonder which one of the 57 states Obama thought he was in when he made this idiotic screw up? Maybe Obama was in OIHO?

Its a 2012 Presidential Election GOP, Romney Omen … First Week of NFL, Tampa Bay Defeats Carolina 16 -10
Hey, could the opening weekend of the NFL season be an omen for the 2012 Presidential election?
The past couple of weeks have felt like political conventionpalooza. First the GOP had the positive message, America cannot afford another 4 more years of Obama RNC convention in Tampa Bay, FL. That was followed up by the DNC “Godless” convention in Charlotte, NC. President Barack Obama was supposed to give his convention speech in Bank of America stadium, the home of the Carolina Panthers. That was until the bad weather, the hail, the tornadoes, the clouds … no, the fact really was that the stadium was “too big to fill”. Obama could not fill the 70,000 seat stadium so they moved the speech indoors to the 15K arena.
Although it appears that Barack Obama has received a convention bounce, there is a long way to go before this story is over. Also, in all of the battleground states, Obama does not have a 50% or greater polling number. Something which is usually considered a must for an incumbent. Add to the election that the Democrats decided to do it against God.
Also, the full first weekend and the true start of the NFL season began today and as fate would have it Tampa Bay defeated the Carolina today 16 – 10. Hmm, I sense a metaphor here. Its a sign of things to come. Carolina [Obama] was a 3 point favorite over Carolina [Romney]. Guess what, Tampa Bay won by 6. Hmm … more to come.

Former OJ Simpson Prosecutor Christopher Darden Accuses Johnnie Cochran of Tampering with Evidence 17 Years Later … Dershowitz Says, “if Darden’s lying, he should be disbarred”
Just when you thought the OJ Simpson case was gone forever …
It might have been one of the most famous and infamous lines ever used in a closing argument by a defense attorney … If the glove does not fit, then you must acquit”. Those were the words uttered by defense attorney Johnnie Cochran that became the enduring memorable moment of the OJ Simpson murder trial and his acquittal. However, 17 years later, OJ Simpson is serving time in prison on a separate charge and famed defense attorney Johnnie Cochran since deceased, former LA County prosecutor Chistopher Darden is making the claim that Cochran tampered with evidence, namely the bloody glove. Cochran died of a brain tumor in March 2005.
Seventeen years after the sensational murder trial of O.J. Simpson, the former prosecutor who went up against the ex-football star’s legal “dream team” is now accusing famed defense attorney Johnnie Cochran of evidence tampering.
Christopher Darden was a 15-year veteran of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office when he asked Simpson to try on the once blood-soaked gloves that prosecutors said Simpson wore during the June 1994 brutal murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman.
