OJ Simpson GUILTY on all Charges in Sports Memorabilia Robbery in Vegas … The Glove Fit

GUILTY … THE GLOVE FIT THIS TIME!     File this one under, what goes OJ_Simpson_GUILTYaround comes around. Justice is finally served to OJ.

OJ Simpson has been found guilty on all charges stemming from the robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. OJ was found guilty of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges pertaining to the robbery. Simpson’s co-defendant, Clarence “C.J.” Stewart was also found guilty on all charges and taken into custody.

VIDEO – VERDICT

A weary and somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.

The Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

Just call it Karma, call it poetic justice … call it just plain justice served, 13 years later. Ironically, the guilty sentence handed down Friday to OJ came 13 years to the day when he was shamefully cleared of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown  Simpson and Ron Goldman.  OJ Simpson, 61, could spend the rest of his life in prison and will be sentenced one December 5, 2008. The fact of the matter is, eventually in time, it may not be out time … but justice is served to those who most deserve it.

What a difference 13 years make when justice is finally served.

UNLUCKY 13

According to Simpson’s defense attorneys, The Juice is extremely upset over being found guilty on all charges of kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

“He’s extremely upset, extremely emotional, but it is something that was expected,” he said.

“Definitely someone like OJ Simpson, everyone has a fixed opinion of him and it’s troubling.

“I wasn’t surprised.”

O.J. Simpson guilty of armed robbery, kidnapping

The jury of nine men and three women, none of them African-American, reached its verdict after 13 hours of deliberations Friday. Jurors heard from 22 witnesses over 12 days of testimony. Chief among the witnesses were seven of the nine people inside Room 1203 of the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the September 13, 2007, confrontation.

UPDATE I: Timeline of OJ Conviction

UPDATE II: What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

I guess it is true, what happens in Vegas … stays in Vegas including potentially OJ Simpson’s convicted self for the next 30 years in prison.

Kidnapping is punishable by five years to life in prison. Armed robbery carries a mandatory sentence of at least two years behind bars, and could bring as much as 30. Sentencing was set for Dec. 5.

One hopes that the sentence will be proportionate to the offense … in other words, that this is the last we hear of this media figure for some time.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas … including OJ’s guilty butt.

I guess OJ should have stayed in the golf courses of FL looking for the murderer of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson

Gee, he looks upset, poor babe. I love the fact that it’s 13 years to the day. Can anyone say karma! Big hug to the Goldmans, and Browns.

Look! OJ got a second chance in life, you’d have thought he would have tread EXTRA carefully
      knowing he caught a break…

But he danced around, got (even more) cocky, and shot himself in the foot!

OJ proved to the world that he belongs in prison!

Funny how things come around. OJ getting jail time for being a theif, but not murder. Two high profile events (OJ and Joran) with the suspects not getting what they should have.

Maybe Joran and the ones who helped him will see justice much sooner than OJ.

Maybe it will be something that lands him in jail for along time.

I pray he never hurts anyone again dear Lord. Amen.

I sat here in total “shock and awe” bright and early this morning watching Fox around 1:30am as the verdict was read :-) I loved the look on OJ’s face…LOL! GREAT JOB JURY!! Let’s hope this one sticks and it won’t be overturned. Thank God the judge wouldn’t grant either man to be released on bail. Everyone knows OJ is a flight risk. I’ll never forget the slow speed chase in LA.

God bless the Brown and Goldman families :-) May their loved ones rest in peace…

That OJ-sigh was the best sigh I heard in years!

Finally. Guilty then, and guilty now. Took 13 years, but the system finally came through on this one. Hope it sticks.

Let’s throw a party Dec. 5th when he’s sentenced. My relative works at the LV county jail and said that he was out golfing the day before he was convicted. Unbelievable but predictable! Let him ROT ROT ROT.

Apparently, Las Vegas will now have to change it’s slogan of “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”

    18. Maggie on October 4th, 2008 5:51 pm

Everyone in this story is dirty..I didn’t really think they would find him guilty.. It was kind of like a set up…BUT… He should’ve went to jail long ago for a double homicide.. Wendy Murphy said she would be surprised if he got more than about 5 years.

Steve Holloway I agree… Joran and OJ have the same type of personality.. Arrogant and sociopath.. OJ has been in trouble all along for minor things since 1994..,but he thinks since he’s OJ…nothing would happen.. The world hasn’t heard the last of Joran..those kind are incapable of changing, because they think nothing is wrong with themselves to start with.

The saddest thing of all, is that DNA evidence does not lie…so everyone knows that OJ Simpson murdered the Mother of his own children and her friend in cold blood…….For all these years, he has walked around a free man—his victims cannot say that.

His attorney was quoted as saying something to the effect of “Just think about it—what if OJ really didn’t committ those murders…his life was never the same since”.

Guess what-payback is a b****, and this conviction proves once again that God doesn’t like evil.

OJ the Murderer in jail…he will die an old and lonely man. Plenty of time on his hands now to sit in his jail cell each night pondering over the last 13 years he was living on borrowed time.

Prayers go to the families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Also, I hope God looks kindly upon his children. Their Mother was murdered by their Father who now should live the rest of his days behind bars…(even that’s too good for him!)

I’m sure this site will quell my (current & future?) blogs as the other conservative sites have but maybe the moderator’s sleepin’…

Anyway, while America is celebrating their revenge, (as opposed to justice), AmeriK.K.K.a is simultaneously exposing their TRUE personality.

Don’t bother selling me the justice and equality BS in the future…everyone, worldwide, now knows we’re a weak, bigoted, sexually immoral nation – unless we change.

      Thanks for nothing :-<

Simpson is where he belongs!!! He is a sociopath, a butcher that left his ex wife and Ron almost decapitated for his children to find the bodies. He disgust me the scum bag got away with murder and he thought he was above the law. KARMA!!!!! I hope the only thing he sees and thinks off is Nicole and Ron.
