Obama Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood Hails Communist China’s Transportation Infrastructure and Authoritarian System

Like any good Barack Obama Cabinet Secretary … they praise Communist China’s Authoritarian system.

The following comment from Obama’s Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood should make everyone  take pause and notice. LaHood praised the China government saying the following, “China outpaces the United States in building major transportation infrastructure like high-speed rail because of its authoritarian system and because the Chinese don’t have the Republican Party holding up progress.” Seriously? A cabinet member of a US President just praised Communist, authoritarian China basically saying they had a better system because there would be no opposition to Barack Obama? Doesn’t this say it all about the Obama Administration?

Echoing the laments of pundits like Thomas Friedman of the New York Times, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood argued Saturday that China outpaces the United States in building major transportation infrastructure like high-speed rail because of its authoritarian system and because the Chinese don’t have the Republican Party holding up progress.

“The Chinese are more successful [in building infrastructure] because in their country, only three people make the decision. In our country, 3,000 people do, 3 million,” LaHood said in a short interview with The Cable on the sidelines of the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival on June 30. “In a country where only three people make the decision, they can decide where to put their rail line, get the money, and do it. We don’t do it that way in America.”

LaHood said that despite this, democracy is still preferable. “We have the best system of government anywhere on the planet. It is the best. Because the people have their say,” he said.

Because some how trains are the future and I guess LaHood thinks so is authoritarian Communism.

Is this the same China infrastructure that has traffic back-ups that can last for days (not hours)? That’s what I thought. No thanks, as soon as we get these bums out of office we will put together a transportation bill that actually spends the money on our roads instead of lining the pockets of the thugs from shitcago.

The same China that they had to shut down industry and take the cars off the road when the Olympics were in town so that people could actually see the athletes thru the smog, let alone the athletes could breathe.

Ray LaHood is just one of Obama’s fellow socialists.

I am suprised that he even mentioned the fact that in America, the people are in charge, not the the govenment.

China has made great progress, but they are still two centuries behind in many areas.
