Missing in Aruba … Case Just Got More Bizarre, Gary Giordano Took Out $1.5 million Policy out on Robyn Gardner before Trip to Aruba & Pornographic Pics

The missing persons case of Robyn Gardner in Aruba  just got more bizarre.

Robyn Gardner has been missing since Aug. 2, 2011 when she was supposedly pulled out to sea by strong currents while snorkeling in Aruba while on vacation with travel companion Gary Giordano. Needless to say the Aruba police have been suspect of Giordano’s story from the outset as there have been inconsistencies. Giordano presently has been ordered to spend another 16 days in jail by an Aruba judge as he is suspected in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner. Now we are learning, according to ABC News, that Giordano took out a $1.5 million on Gardner for a weekend tryst.

Although many individuals do take out travel insurance before they go on vacation, this one raises some eye brows. You take out an insurance policy on some one, who you barely know, who is not your fiance, girl friend or even acquaintance.The purchasing of a policy almost brings a form of premeditation into Gardner’s death. According to sources, Giordano tried to redeem the accidental death insurance policy.

“We knew from Mr. Giordano himself that travel insurance was taken out and that’s what we are investigating. It was subpoenaed and we are investigating that material to see if it bears relevance to the investigation,” Stein said Wednesday.

Travel Insurance Policy Focus of Robyn Gardner Investigation

In Maryland, Gardner’s live-in boyfriend Robert Forester said the revelations about the insurance policy were disturbing.

“To be honest, I was saddened to hear it. I can’t believe that Robyn would ever sign something like that voluntarily. Maybe if she was forced to, maybe if she was misinformed to what it was,” Forester said.

But wait, this missing persons case just got more sordid. According to People magazine, pics retrieved from Giordano’s digital camera that had Giordano and Gardner, who were seen posing together in sexual positions that were described as “beyond pornographic.”

The magazine reported that the photos, which it described as “beyond pornographic,” showed Gardner in sexual positions with “parts of” Giordano in photos taken with his digital camera. People reports that Stein revealed the information about the photos.

Obviously Gary Giordano is guilty of playing a part in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner, that is not the story here.  MEDIA, KEEP YOUR EYE ON BALL. THIS MEAN YOU NANCY GRACE. This is not, nor is it nothing like the case of Natalee Holloway, who went missing in Aruba in 2005. That is the story. MSM, focus, focus. Examine how the Aruba police and the judges are handling the accounts, prosecution and legal rulings in this case. Notice there were no two black security guards arrested in Robyn’s disappearance. Notice they detained Gary Giordano from leaving the island. The same could not be said for Joran Van der Sloot, who even in an FBI-Aruba sting for extortion was allowed to hop on a plane, go to Peru and kill again. Why is the case of Robyn Gardner being handled so differently when the suspect is an American, not a privileged little Dutch boy?

New Jobless Claims Numbers … 408,000 … Don’t Worry Obama Takes Vacation to Martha’s Vineyard will give Speech when he Returns

If its Thursday, it must be more grim news on the jobs front …

The weekly jobless claims numbers are out and they are terrible. The US Labor Dept says that jobless claims gained 9,000 to  408,000. As reported at CNBC, Jobless Claims Gain 9,000 to 408,000; Consumer Prices Reflect Inflation With Jump of 0.5%; Ex-Food and Energy Up 0.2%.

In the week ending August 13, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 408,000, an increase of 9,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 399,000. The 4-week moving average was 402,500, a decrease of 3,500 from the previous week’s revised average of 406,000.

The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 2.9 percent for the week ending August 6, unchanged from the prior week’s unrevised rate of 2.9 percent.

The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending August 6 was 3,702,000, an increase of 7,000 from the preceding week’s revised level of 3,695,000. The 4-week moving average was 3,716,000, a decrease of 4,500 from the preceding week’s revised average of 3,720,500.

President Obama shows his seriousness in the jobs number and millions of Americans out of work my going on vacation to Martha’s Vineyard and hobnobbing with those millionaire and billionaires that he talks so much about who should pay high taxes. Any one seeing any hypocrisy here?

Ever wonder why his job approval rating is so low, especially when it comes to the economy? Obama’s complete inability to create a government friendly business environment and his apathy when it comes to out of work Americans might be a good start. Its not that Americans have a lack of confidence in Obama bring back the economy, actually they have a lack of confidence in Obama overall. Imagine the imagery if Obama said he would not take a vacation in solidarity with the millions of Americans who also cannot. Instead he makes the excuse, of well there would be no work done with Congress with the current political environment.  Its about showing you care Mr. President. However, this detached President has had an empathy gap from the out set … Let the peasants eat cake.

Obama just does not seem to care nor does he perceive the crucial nature of the situation or the priority.  When Obama speaks … the economy gets worse. What does that tell you? Obama must go!

Romney Still Leads in the NH Journal Survey … Perry Now Second in the Granite State

Romney still top dog in NH … But Perry is in Second.

The former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney still holds a large leads in New Hampshire with 36%, according to the NH Journal Survey, with Texas governor Rick Perry (18%) second, Ron Paul (14%) third and US Rep Michele Bachmann (10%) fourth. Of course Romney is going to fare well in NH, fellow New England state, or at least he better. If he ever fell to second or third place in any Granite state poll, it would be time for him to drop out of the race.

On the ballot Romney remains in a strong position. He leads all candidates with 36% of the vote. However, Perry, making his first appearance in the NH Journal poll, debuts with a strong 18%. Ron Paul continues to impress despite relatively little media attention with 14%. And Bachmann earns 10%. All other candidates were in single digits.

Among all voters surveyed Romney remains very popular with a favorable rating of 66% and an unfavorable rating of 24%. Perry also has a significantly favorable image ratio of 51% F / 27% U.

This is a strong showing for Rick Perry in NH.

As reported at The Hill, Republicans are torn over Perry and Romney as to who would be the better GOP candidate to take on Barack Obama in 2012. This is hardly a bad thing. An honest and public debate to determine who would be the best principled candidate to take on Obama is exactly what is required. Let the GOP candidates hone their skills and present their message and vision to America now, because trust me Obama, his smear minion and the complicit MSM are going to go after the GOP candidate like no one has ever seen in political history. An incumbent President with such miserable poll numbers on the economy and other key political issues will have to attack his opponents, or as Obama refers to them as “his enemies”, because there is no way he can run on his record.

The Wheels Have Come Off the Obama Jobs/Economy Bus … Obama at 26% Favorable for Handling the Economy

HOLY COW BATMAN … THE WHEELS HAVE COME OFF THE OBAMA BUS.

HEY BARACK, ITS ABOUT THE JOBS STUPID!!! Barack Obama is at 26% favorable for handling the economy. The public is starting to turn on Obama and blame him for the economy. The public is growing weary of his excuses. That is down 11% from the last time Gallup measured Obama’s favorability in May 2011. A whopping 71% now disapprove of how Barack Obama is handing the economy. That is going to leave a mark. However, does it come as a shock to anyone, Obama has been in free-fall in his job approval.

It would appear that Obama has become the 20% President. On other important political issues Obama does not fare much better. The economy is the #1 issue of the 2012 Presidential election and Obama is not underwater, he is at the bottom of the ocean. This election campaign is going to get ugly as Obama obviously cannot run on his record, he and his minions will have to attack the GOP candidate at every turn, of course with the willing help of the MSM. How many times has this President been told its about JOBS, JOBS, JOBS? Yet, he has made so many other of his liberal agenda the priority.

• Creating Jobs: Approve 29% – Disapprove 65%
• The Economy: Approve 26% – Disapprove 71%
• Federal Budget Deficit: Approve 24% – Disapprove 71%

Hot Air has more terrible polling data from Gallup where Obama finds himself below 50% with Independents on ALL of the key political issues. How does any incumbent President think they are going to be reelected when Independents have fled in mass?  Also, the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking poll has Obama at -22%. That makes 9 straight days that Obama has been in the -20′s. OUCH!!!

Oh but wait, Obama promises to have a major economic speech in September. But first,  with such rotten poll numbers Obama thinks its perfectly ok to go on vacation to Martha’s Vineyard and hobnob with the elite rich as Americans suffer. The peasants can wait until September I guess. The real questions is, will any one bother to listen? With an approval rate in the 20′s with the economy, Obama has made himself irrelevant.
