RSSMissing Utah Boy Found Murdered: Ethan Stacy Killed By Mom and Step Dad
Layton, Utah– Ethan Stacy, 4, on a court ordered visitation by a Virginia judge, was found murdered last evening in Ogden Canyon, Utah.
Ethan was originally reported missing by his mother, newly married Stephanie Sloope, and her husband of 10 days, Nathan Sloope. Sloope told Police that Ethan had wandered away from the couples apartment 5 out of the last 10 nights.

Joe Stacy didn’t want to send his son to Utah for a summer-long visit with his mother. He worried she was too unstable to care for him, but a court order in their divorce left him no choice.
“I just wanted him to grow up where his daddy grew up, in a small town in the mountains,” he said Wednesday from Virginia. “Where it was safe.”

This is a prime example of a judge needs to listen to a child. Ethan may have only been 4, but he knew he did not want his mother. We refused to speak to her on the phone. Why would the little man want to go see her? The judge in VA that made Ethan go visit his socalled mother needs to stand trial with the killers. Children have voices and sometimes we should open our ears…
My heart goes out to Ethan Stacy’s father and he will be in my prayers.

to be honest the previous comment was right the judge needed to give her supervised visitation for a while he could have been saved if social workers or judges cared but it is all about the next case and placing responsibility in someone elses hands instead of taking time to care…..
