Former Westbrook Christian Church pastor Neil Schori Says Drew Peterson Admitted Killing Previous Wife, Kathleen Savio

Did Drew Peterson admit to Neil Schlori, the former Westbrook Christian Church pastor, that he killed his third wife Kathleen Savio? Another interesting question would be, did Drew Peterson’s missing fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, know as well? Could that be a motive to why Stacy Peterson is missing? Did she know too much? The case keeps getting more and more strange.

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (AP) — A former police officer’s missing wife once confided in a pastor that her husband admitted killing his third wife, the pastor said.

Former Westbrook Christian Church pastor Neil Schori told Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren in an interview broadcast Monday that Stacy Peterson told him in August that her husband, Drew Peterson, admitted killing his previous wife, Kathleen Savio.

Schori said he asked Stacy Peterson, Drew Peterson’s fourth wife, to clarify what she had said and she responded, “‘He killed Kathleen.’” Schori said the conversation occurred when he and Stacy Peterson met at a coffee shop.

Savio’s body was found in her bathtub in 2004 and her death initially was ruled an accidental drowning. After Stacy Peterson disappeared in October, prosecutors opened another investigation into the Savio case, and said it appears her death was a homicide staged to look like an accident. Drew Peterson has not been named a suspect in her death.

Stacy Peterson offered enough detail to be credible, said Schori, who declined to discuss the details in the interview.

Here is one difference between blacks and whites. We all know (okay, we’re pretty damn 100% sure) Peterson killed this wife and wife number three. If Peterson were black, the blacks would be screaming that he is not guilty (a la OJ). But most, if not all, white folks know he is guilty and want him to go down. Whites weren’t wanting to convict black OJ. They wanted to convict murdering OJ. Just like we now want to convict murdering Peterson, and murdering der Sloots. BTW, Robert Blake did it also.

Ummm…since when did this become an issue of race?

    3. da_wench on December 11th, 2007 1:08 pm

What gets me is how DP grins at the camera…like the boy “from the ditch” we all know. It makes me want to claw that smirk right off of his face.

    4. brenda on December 11th, 2007 2:27 pm

Hello there Firefly. And for dawench…agree with you this time :>)

Anyhoo…this certainly has nothing to do with race. Has to do with a sociopath who is more in love with himself than anything else. Remember, sociopaths do NOT feel guilt. Feel totally justified in their doings.

I wondered from the 1st day we learned #3 had been found dead whether this cowardly lion looking creep was responsible. Just read an interesting article where unnamed sources feel Stacey’s body is probably nearby the man’s home who had sent sexually explicit text messages to her. He is not considered a suspect and fully cooperating (take note Peterson…the innocent always cooperate).

      Hi brenda!! :)

Do you have a link to that article??

Firefly…here you go. The article is long and informative.

Absolutely agree about the sociopath comment. imo this guy is the classic.. He feels no remorse, he thinks the world revolves around him and his needs. Was very telling when the conversation with this minister/council says she told him that in August, and the same day Drew called him and wanted to meet, the minister said he declined and Stacey goes missing in August.

I’ve watched this guy on the news out laughing and joking with the media almost everytime he’s shown. Never once has he looked for her, just knows she ran away with a man. I don’t believe she would leave her kids behind with this man for a minute and leave. His lawyer apppears cuckoo, last night he said this minister was on every other news channel and told conflicting stories, so he’s not believable and it was reported that the only one he’s talked to is Fox News, and they had to keep hounding him to get him to do that one. Don’t you like how the defense attorneys point out that he isn’t believable due to lies and then their own clients lie repeatedly and then they tell us they are innocent and telling the truth.. Sounds like the Natalee Holloway case.

I don’t even like looking at Drew Peterson.

    8. resolution on December 11th, 2007 7:53 pm

I agree with you some, Maggie. The exception is unlike the Natalee case, I do feel justice will prevail here. My prediction is Stacy will be found, God rest her soul, but when that happens, he will commit suicide. Cops do not do well in jail I understand. Likewise, I do believe Drew thinks he has gotten away with this, just like J2K and the rest of the savages, but America will not let it happen. Justice will prevail here and maybe an example shown to Aruba…and in a more timely fashion. It is NOT rocket science.

Why does a man who gets $6000 a month NEED the publics help. I am sure that there will be someone out there who will donate. I once – and I stress – ONCE – had an abusive boyfriend who thought Nicole deserved EXACTLY what she got. He felt that OJ deserved all of his money and she had no right to anything. I suppose he is in Alabama now saying that Stacy and Kathy both deserved to die. Face it; there are just some evil people out there.

    10. resolution on December 11th, 2007 8:05 pm

I do beleive he admitted it…the priest said back in August. I think this was Stacy’s demise. She informed Drew that she disclosed the information. This coupled with her wanting a divorce (from Drew’s revelation perhaps?), Drew couldn’t have the truth come out.

    11. Sharon Chicago on December 11th, 2007 8:08 pm

Gee I am wondering why the pastor did not go to another police dept. and report what Stacy said to him in August that Drew killed Kathleen?

    12. resolution on December 11th, 2007 8:14 pm

I have been following this case to see if there is any new news. Did anyone here that Drew wants his guns back for protection? I will re-iterate…I think he knows they (investigators/search parties) are closing in. Does he want to do himself in before they do? What a frickin odd request in the midst of all this.

    13. resolution on December 11th, 2007 8:19 pm

The pastor probably wishes he had reported it now.

    14. Joanie on December 11th, 2007 8:38 pm

Resolution; aren’t Pastors supposed to keep things said in confessions secret? and, if he had gone to the police, what would those police had done? They didn’t seem to take much interest when Katheleen died.

    15. resolution on December 11th, 2007 8:57 pm

Yes, he has that discretion to keep it confidential. I was just saying, responding to Sharon in Chicago, that he probably wished he had come forth sooner now. I just wonder if stacy had revealed it to family members, etc.

    16. Joanie on December 11th, 2007 9:16 pm

Resolution – Ok I getcha now!!!! I did see this young pastor on TV last night – looks like the weight of the world is on his shoulders. I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes.

I hope this all can be resolved soon – so many people have been affected by this.

      Good evening to you.

when I tried to submit a comment it said I had failed the challenge. What do you think that meant?I only said that I thought something odd about the guy and his choice of meeting in a coffee shop!Come on.I almost suspect that he may of had an ulterior motive. It is so unprofessional of this guy.The meeting should be in the church or in his office.I wonder if Miss Tilly, age 81,depressed about her cat dying and needing some counciling, would of got a date for coffee as well?

    18. stoney on December 12th, 2007 9:29 am

Scarlett you did not add right the math question before your comment is “the challenge”

    19. Firefly on December 12th, 2007 3:07 pm

Thanks Brenda, that article certainly IS interesting. I wonder how long he will pretend like it wasn’t him.

    20. da_wench on December 12th, 2007 5:34 pm

      #4 – It’s nice that we agree sometimes :)

#17 – I believe many pastors meet with parishoners in places other than the church. What’s wrong with that? Are you trying to imply that the pastor was inappropriate? Very strange comment IMHO.

    21. Scarrlett on December 14th, 2007 5:50 am

Stoney-Thank you for answering my dumb question.I did`t know we must do that each time.

#20- Pastors do go to hospitals, nursing homes and sometimes even the homes of their flock but the local coffee shop??Yes indeed I find it inappropriate to council in a public setting.Maybe he is pure with his intensions but a naive young girl might take it the wrong way.Just saying it could of been handled better.

    22. resolution on December 14th, 2007 8:29 pm

I still say that this may have been stacy’s demise. I read an article recently that Drew also asked for a meeting with the Pastor.

Scarlett – the Pastor is young too. Perhaps someone may think it was inapproriate to meet at a coffee shop, but Stacy certainly could not have invited him to her home, nor was she in a hospital or nursing home. And what would the people think that if the coffee shop was inappropriate if the Pastor invited Stacy to his home. I personally do not think there was anything wrong with a public place, but that is my opinion. Could have looked much worse….

    23. rudy on December 19th, 2007 9:28 pm

If you want to meet something in a place there could be no hint of inappropriate behavior, it would be in a coffee shop like Starbucks, not in a private office. As you may know, Billy Graham made it a firm policy never to be alone in a room with a woman. Obviously, this young pastor emulated Billy Graham’s behavior.

that’s funny the pastor was poking her!!!
      ……met her….at a coffee shop??????
