Liz Cheney Rips the Obama Administration’s “Incompetence” in the War on Terror

On FOX News Sunday Liz Cheney echoed the thoughts and sentiments of many of the American people when it comes to Obama and the war on terror.

“There’s a level of incompetence that we’re seeing from people like Brennan and others that scares the American people.”

Cheney referenced that the prosecution of terrorist as a criminal offense like after the Trade Center bombing in 1993 what it got us was 9-11.

“When we prosecuted and successfully convicted people after the ‘93 World Trade Center bombing, after the East African bombing, what it got us was 9/11 and 3,000 dead Americans.”

Juan Williams tried to pass it off as criticism by Republicans for political purposes to show Obama is weak on national defense. That is when Liz Cheney let Juan have it and spelled out the “incompetence” in the Obama Administration in national security and the war on terror.

Let this be a lesson to any guys in the future that plan on pulling such a stunt to an unsuspecting woman in your life. Make sure you know the answer will be yes and that she does not have an issue with you making a mockery out of the personal moment by sharing it with 12,000 of your not so closest friends. Just a thought.

What a difference a year makes … Barack Obama from The One to a political Albatross.

Just one short, make that long year, after Barack Hussein Obama was swept into office on the campaign rhetoric of “Hope & Change,” the Democrat party and Obama find them elf in a much different place.  Obama was the Chosen One, he was the Obamamessiah.

Democrats, don’t ask for things they might come true. You wanted Obama, now you are stuck with him and the catastrophe that is about to happen to you party.

Not any more. The Democrats are distancing them self from Obama as his job approval poll numbers sink and America more and more rejects his policies and agenda. Hey Democrats, how is that “hopee, changee” thing working out for ya?

You to can have Obama come campaign for you and get the results that Corzine, Deeds and Coakley did in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts. All Republican landslide wins in states that Obama carried in 2008.

The Obama Administration and Democrats decided not to listen to the American people, the very individuals who elected them. Democrats also forgot who works for who. For this egregious offense they will pay a price at the ballot box in November like no one has seen ever. No slight of hand trick or sudden move away from Obama can help them. Democrats made their bed and now it’s time to pay the Piper in 2010 and 2012 election.

Aligning themselves too closely with the White House could be a strategic mistake ahead of the midterm election, they fear. It’s an approach that has the administration’s tacit blessing.

Reporting from Washington – As President Obama’s approval ratings sag and the mood of voters sours, some Democratic congressional candidates are distancing themselves from the White House, with the back-channel blessing of party officials.

The candidates are positioning themselves as independent voices no less frustrated with the Obama administration than people back home.

However, this last minute dodge by Democrats to deceive the American voters is too little and much too late. The fact that Donkeys are asking permission from their Obamamessiah to be independent is as Sister Toldja states, “a strong indicator that they are not, in fact, “independent”?  Democrats have badly read the mood of the American people and blindly supported the President’s agenda on bail outs, government spending, health care and Cap & Trade, against the will of the people.

John Brennan, Obama Homeland Security & Counterterrorism Assistant Clueless … 20% Terrorism Recidivism “Is not that bad”

FRIGHTENING …

And Barack Obama wonders why Americans are concerned about how Democrats and his Administration conducts a war on terror and why Republicans question his policies and vision. Really?

So we are supposed to feel safe when the Obama Homeland Security & Counterterrorism Assistant John Brennan compares terrorism recidivism to criminal recidivism and he says, “20% isn’t that bad.” WHAT!!! A 20% return rate for terrorist to fight is acceptable for the Obama Administration? Really, 1 out of 5 is ok for Barack Obama.

Remember when GWB and Condi Rice used to say that the United States had to be right 100% of the time when it came to terrorism?

“People sometimes use that figure, 20 percent, say ‘Oh my goodness, one out of five detainees returned to some type of extremist activity,’” Brennan said. “You know, the American penal system, the recidivism rate is up to something about 50 percent or so, as far as return to crime. Twenty percent isn’t that bad.”

How could a Presidential Administration compare criminal recidivism to that of terrorism. A criminal getting out of prison and committing another crime like theft or selling drugs to that of trying to kill 3000 US citizens. And the American people are supposed to feel safe and secure exactly how?

This morning on FOX News Sunday, SC Senator Lindsey Graham ripped into John Brennan for his indefensible statement and called for his resignation.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham blasted President Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser John Brennan saying he is “disconnected from the threats we face” and called for his resignation.  He says “it’d be better to have a new person in that job.”

“I don’t see how most Americans can feel safe when the head of counterterrorism tries to tell us you can get all the information you need within 50 minutes of an interview of a guy right off the airplane who tried to blow it up, and tries to tell us that the process did finally work, and say that a 20 percent recidivism rate’s OK in the war on terror,” Graham told Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

Graham criticized the Obama administration’s terrorism policies arguing that they “make no sense.” “These policies are ill-conceived and they need to stop and start over,” he argued.  To do so, he offered to help the administration and work out a deal on closing Guantanamo Bay, as long as it ensures national security.

Tea Party Candidate to Challenge Harry Reid in Nevada Senate Race

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting that the Nevada Tea Party is going to run a candidate against Senate Majority leader Harry Reid in this years Nevada midterm election. This is where the Tea Party movement hasn’t a clue and fails in its long term goals. If the Tea Party wants to be a third party all they will accomplish is electing Democrats by splitting the vote.

Sun columnist Jon Ralston is reporting that the Tea Party has qualified as a third party in Nevada and will have a candidate in the Senate race to battle for the seat held by Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The party has filed a Certificate of Existence but needs to get 1 percent of the electorate to vote for its candidate in November to permanently qualify, according to the report.

Ralston reported that Jon Ashjian will be the Tea Party’s U.S. Senate candidate on the November ballot. Ashjian still must declare his candidacy.

According to the Tea Party’s constitution, the Tea Party of Nevada will “promote this nation’s founding principles of freedom, liberty and a small representative government. That’s nice, are you also for another Reid reelection? Because your Tea Party candidate will only harm the Republican that wins the primary who faces Dingy Harry.

Harry Reid already faces a strong Republican challenge that includes former state Senator Sue Lowden, Danny Tarkanian and former state Assemblywoman Sharron Angle. According to recent polls, Reid trails all of the Republican challengers in his bid for reelection.

I say the following as a fellow Tea Party member … The Tea Party’s job should not be to reinvent the wheel, but to make the existing Republican Party better. Or if there is a worthy Democrat candidate/Independent, then to support that person. The Tea Party has an opportunity to be a great voice and an influential one. However, not if they shoot themselves in the foot and act like they are some group that is suddenly going to be elected into office just like that. That mentality will only act as a decisive measure that will ensure Democrats and in this case Reid’s election.

I had an opportunity to meet and hear Republican candidate Danny Tarkanian when he came to Nashville, TN with The American Liberty Rally with Joe the Plumber, et al. The voters of Nevada need to support whomever wins the Republican primary, that includes the Tea Party. Not blind support, but make your voice be heard and which candidate will follow the closest to the bylaws of the Tea Party. Do not run a third party candidate, you will do nothing but harm the very cause you wish to effectuate change.
