Obama’s Polling Headaches Continue, Gallup Has Job Approval at 47% Approve & Disapprove

What a week this has been for Barack Hussein Obama.

Barack Obama’s not so excellent adventure continues. As per the most recent Gallup Daily Presidential Job Approval poll, Obama has a 47% approval and disapproval rating. This is the first time that The One has had just as many people disapproving of his job as President as opposed to approving in the Gallup Poll. Less than one year ago in February 2009 Obama had a 69% – 13% approval-disapproval rating.

My what a difference a year, socialist policies, lack of leadership and a failed health care policy makes. On the foot heals of the astonishing win by Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts and the “NO” to Obamacare stated by the People of the Bay State, 61% of voters nationwide now say Congress should drop health care and focus on the economy.

However, the President remains tone deaf and vows to fight on at the detriment of the Democrat party and his reelection. Fight on against the specialist interests? It is kinda hard to be a populist when one is making back room deals with Union special interest groups and buying off Senators for their votes. Then again, Obama thinks he can still get away with this kind of stuff. However, the people of Massachusetts showed America, NO HE CAN’T!

Obama repeatedly pledged to “fight” for everyday people against such “special interests” as banks and health insurance companies, trotting out a battling new populist style during a week in which the Democrats lost their filibuster-proof 60th vote in the Senate.

Barack Obama has a -19% point rating in The Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. The 19% represents a growing gap in the strongly approve vs. strongly disapprove since last weeks election of Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts. It is the 60th straight polling day in a row that Obama has had a negative double digit rating.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19 (see trends).
