You Can’t Be Serious … 10 Year Old Girl Suspended from School for Peppermint Oil

PUBLIC SCHOOL, reading, writing and suspensions for what?

When did public schools lose their way and their minds? A 10 year old girl was suspended from a Commack, NY school for bringing peppermint oil to school. What would have happened if she brought her Dick Tracy decoder ring?

Peppermint oil? Good grief, the girl is 10, do these school officials honestly think that this little girl had evil intent with the peppermint oil. Common sense has become an endangered species in our schools today. Imagine the suspensions today that would take place from the “Shoe & Tell” practices of school days of the past?

The Commack School District says in a statement on its Web Site the oil “is an unregulated over-the-counter drug.”

The girl’s mother, Corrine Morton-Greiner, said Thursday the implication her daughter Sara was taking an illicit substance to school is “infuriating.”

Morton-Greiner is asking for school officials to apologize and to revoke her daughter’s suspension.

Commack Superintendent James Feltman says there’s “no question” Sara’s actions violated the district’s code of conduct when she took the oil to school Monday.

One would think that maybe suspension could be afforded to things that were brought to school with the sole intent of harm.

Perception is everything … Living La Vita Loca while the rest of America worries whether they will have a pay check and a home. Is this really the image that Obama wants to project to the American people? How could a President who for one second tires to tell American people that he understand their plight and feels their pain while renting this 7000 sq foot home out?

Some things just look and smell inherently wrong. Paying Senators off for their vote was one. Staying in this over the top rental property while average Americans go belly up is a second.

While millions of Americans lose their jobs and homes, the Obama’s jet off to Hawaii and rent an $8.9 million home for the holidays. While most Americans cannot afford to take a vacation and are doing “staycations” instead, Barack Obama and family in tow are roughing it up as Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous as We the People foot the expense.

Stephanopoulos on GMA says in his interview that when he talked to Obama back in September, he was already pining for his Christmas vacation in Hawaii. The United States has 10% unemployment and only 29% of Americans think that the country is headed in the right direction.

Welcome to the Obama Winter White House … Obama family from renting an $8.9 million Hawaiian mansion for the holidays … $4000 a night.

UPDATE I: Who Knew Recharging was so Expensive? One Presidents recharge is another communities inconvenience … Of course we were being sarcastic when we stated above that Obama would spin this as stimulating the economy. I guess we all should know better by now.

“We’re not overly happy, but it’s great for him (Obama), the state and for everybody involved,” Miscovich said.

Body of Missing Sarah H. Foxwell Found Deceased Near the Delaware State Line

There is sad but not unexpected news to report in the case of missing 11 year old Sarah H. Foxwell. Her body was found at about 4:00 pm Friday in a wooded area near the Delaware state line.

Sarah H. Foxwell had gone missing on December 22, 2009 when she disappearaed from her home in Salisbury, MD.

30 year old Thomas J. Leggs, a registered sex offender has been charged with kidnapping and burglary and was in custody. It probably will not be too long before Leggs is charged with murder as well.

When will society and our laws ever realize that these animals cannot be stopped and cannot be cured? It is only a matter of time before the alleged kidnapper, previously convicted sex offender,  Thomas J. Leggs Jr., becomes an alleged murderer.

At a news conference late this afternoon, Lewis announced that Sarah’s body had been found at approximately 4 p.m., but gave few other details.

Thousands of people turned out on Christmas morning to help investigators search for the girl, police said.

Leggs was seen entering the girl’s bedroom late Wednesday night by her 6-year-old sister, who described the kidnapper down to the color of his shoes, police said.

What is wrong with our society, law makers, lawyers, judges and people who knowing surround themself with sex offenders?

Why are we supposed to be shocked and outraged at the actions of sex offender Thomas J. Leggs Jr? What are we supposed to think that he is capable of not molesting and raping young girls? Why, is he supposed to be cured? These sex deviants are incurable and should be put down like a rabid dog.

A sex offender like Thomas J. Leggs Jr. will expose himself to a minor and we will slap him on the wrist as our legal system say, well he only exposed himself, it is not as if he raped the 12 year old. Then a sex offender like Thomas J. Leggs Jr. will rape a 12 year old and we will punish him saying, well he only raped her, it is not as if he killed her. Then a sex offender like Thomas J. Leggs Jr. will kidnap, rape and kill an 11 year old girl and people act all outraged and shocked that such a thing is possible.

The fact of the matter is that Thomas J. Leggs Jr. would eventually do this to some unsuspecting innocent child the minute he fondled his first victim. Of course the fact that some individuals think it is perfectly fine to expose children to convicted sex offenders should be criminal as well.

Act of Terror or Overseas Contingency Act? Nigerian National Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab Arrested Attempted Terrorist Act

Oh but wait, the White House says that today’s event was an attempted act of terrorism. The suspect was arrested, let’s hope he was read his rights.

The FBI is investigating the incident. President Obama, celebrating Christmas in Hawaii, was informed about it, a spokesman said, and he asked his aides to ensure that all measures are in place to provide security for air travel.

The suspect, Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, is a Nigerian national who claims to have ties to al-Qaida tried to detonate an explosive aboard a Northwest Airbus 330 on a flight carrying 278 passengers. The flight originated in Nigeria and went through Amsterdam en route to Detroit.

Passengers subdued the man and may have prevented him from detonating the explosives. Thankfully, passengers know now to get involved and prevent terrorists from committing these cowardly acts. This has all the similarities of Richard Reid, the shoe bomber.

The man said he was directed by al Qaeda to explode a small device in flight, over U.S. soil, ABC News has learned. Authorities have no corroboration of that information, and the credibility of the suspect’s statements are being questioned, officials said.

The suspect was identified as Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, who according to federal documents is an engineering student at University College of London.

Global warming eh? Across the United States, nearly 2/3 of the country experienced a White Christmas today. Winter snow and blizzards dumped huge amounts of snow across the Midwest and Plains states.  Even residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area briefly experienced a white Christmas for the first time in more than 80 years.

The National Weather Service said blizzards would hit parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin through Saturday. The storm had already dumped significant snow across the region, including a record 14 inches in Oklahoma City and 11 inches in Duluth, Minn., on Thursday.

Interstates also were closed in North Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming. Meteorologists warned that massive snow drifts and blustery winds could cause whiteouts across the northern Plains. Officials urged travelers to stay home and pack emergency kits if they had to set out.

In Texas, volunteer firefighters and sheriff’s deputies rescued hundreds of people stranded along Interstate 44 and Texas State Highway 287 near Wichita Falls. The area recorded up to 13 inches of snow, said Doug Speheger, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

11 Year Old Sarah Haley Foxwell Missing Since December 22, 2009 from Salisbury, MD (Thomas Leggs Arrested)

11 year old Sarah Haley Foxwell has seen missing since December 22, 2009 from Salisbury, Maryland. Sarah Haley Foxwell was last seen when she went to her room about 9:30 PM wearing fuzzy red pajama bottoms with Christmas trees on them and a pink John Deere T-shirt.  Sarah Haley Foxwell was discovered missing early Wednesday when a relative went to check on  Sarah and her 6-year-old sister.

“She wasn’t in her room,” Lewis said. He said there was no evidence of forced entry to the home where the girls live with their aunt, who is their legal guardian. Leggs is a former boyfriend of the aunt, officials said.

A “juvenile witness” awoke during the night Tuesday and saw Sarah leave the bedroom with “Tommy,” and said he was wearing blue jeans, an orange jacket and white sneakers, the charging document says.

Thomas J. Leggs, 30, a registered sex offender, has been charged with kidnapping and burglary and was in custody, authorities said. Officials said that he is Sarah’s aunt’s ex-boyfriend and that their relationship ended about a month ago.

Why on earth do these woman date sex offender?Do they think they will actually change? That they won’t be attracted to little girls? Oh wait, they have changed, they have been cured. What are these woman thinking that they would knowingly date a registered sex offender who raped a teenager. In the process they expose all children around them to this animal.

Lewis said interviews with the children in the house, as well as other evidence, convinced investigators that Leggs abducted Sarah. Lewis said that Leggs, who works as a laborer in a wood and counter business, was refusing to cooperate.

Leggs, who authorities said lives in Salisbury in an outbuilding on property his parents own, is registered as a sex offender in Maryland and Delaware.

According to Maryland’s sex offender registry, Leggs has a conviction for a third-degree sex offense. Wicomico officials said the victim in that crime was a young girl.

A woman jumped the barriers in St. Peter’s Basilica and knocked down Pope Benedict XVI. The Pope was in the process of walking down the aisle to begin Christmas Mass. Following the incident, Pope Benedict XVI resumed his walk to the Basilica’s main altar and then began the Mass.

Rev. Ciro Benedettini said the 82-year-old Pope quickly got up and was unhurt. As the Pope’s procession was making its way toward the main altar gasps rang out through the public and a commotion could be seen among the clergymen surrounding Benedict. The procession came to a halt and bodyguards rushed to the trouble spot.

The woman who pushed the pope appeared to be mentally unstable and had been arrested by Vatican police.

The 82-year-old pope quickly got up and was unhurt, said a Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Ciro Benedettini. Footage aired on Italy’s RAI state TV showed a woman dressed in a red jumper vaulting over the wooden barriers and rushing the pope before being swarmed by bodyguards.

It’s Official … Senate Passes Obamacare Along Partisan Democrat Vote, 60-39

Mark the date, December 24, 2009 while Americans prepared for the Christmas holiday … Democrats perpetrated a treachery that will be their undoing.  Say good bye Democrats, 2010 is right around the corner and you will be tossed from office for trying to make America a socialized country. This so called landmark legislation was done by Democrats against the will of the people.

It is touted and spun by Democrats and Barack Obama as a historic vote and moment in American history, the Obamacare health care bill has passed the Senate, 60-39. Not one, not one Republican voted for this disaster called Obamacare.

Literally, under the cloak of darkness, Democrats continue to ram socialism down the troats of Americans. Imagine having Congressional representation that does not represent the will of the people?

The fact of the matter is that this bill is not historic, it does in fact STINK.

This legislation is hardly the type that statesman are made of. It is the type that bribes, back room deals and pay off for votes are made of at the expense of so-called health care reform.

The health-care reform bill coming out of the Senate presents a real dilemma for spectators: How do you applaud while holding your nose?

There is so much that is wrong with it — and the way it was made — and, at the same time, so much that is right that you just have to shake your head in despair and in wonder.

There is a reason why the American public overwhelming oppose this health care reform bill. People do want reform … they do not want this mockery of reform. How do we know that this bill is terrible? Why would so many Democrats make sleazy deals with Harry Reid to pass the bill if they did not like it on face value?
