Muslim Man Mohamed Ibrahim Arrested in Memphis, TN for Making Bomb Threats & Wanting to start a Jihad Holy War

Mohamed Ibrahim, a man claiming to be Muslim was arrested and released on $100 bond after he walked into several Memphis, Tennessee businesses and threatened to blow them up in the name of jihad and a Holy War.

Tonight, Mohamed Ibrahim is out after posting $100 bond. Earlier in the day, he was arrested after police say he walked into several Memphis businesses and threatened to blow them up.

Court records show Ibrahim was also telling people he was Muslim, and wanted to start a jihad, or holy war, in Memphis.

Police say when they arrested him, he had a butcher knife hidden in one of his jacket sleeves.

What on Earth are we doing in this country? A man was making terrorist threats, claiming to be Muslim, blowing up businesses, all in the name of jihad and had a weapon on him and we release him into the community on $100 bail!!! HUH!!!

But Jihad Watch has it correct … its all just a Muslim, jihad misunderstanding. No sarcasm here. Looks like Atlas Shrugs nails it too … “The judge is either blind, deaf and dumb, an Islamist, a Democrat or a Muslim.”

Now he is free on $100 bond. Clearly this far-seeing and right-thinking judge understands that Islam is a Religion of Peace™, and that therefore this man only intended to butcher his sinful inclinations, as part of his inner spiritual struggle to conform his life to the will of Allah.

So when this individual winds up killing some one or blowing some thing up, are we going to say the system worked like clockwork again?

What Baucus should have said is that, we worked very hard on a bi-partisan bill until the loyal opposition realized that Obamacre was nothing more than a government takeover of health care, would raise premiums instead of lower them, would increase health care costs instead of lower them, raise taxes, would federally fund abortion, was an unfunded mandate with the expense passed on to the states and was opposed by an overwhelming majority of the American people.

Why would Republicans be opposed to this health care bill when only 34% of people think that passing that bill would be better than the 57% of Americans that believe it would be better to pass no health care reform bill this year instead of this terrible piece of health care legislation.

This is embarrassing and a must watch. Your taxed paid for Senators in action …

Obama on Vacation Playing Golf & Americans still Strongly Disapprove

Barack Hussein Obama may be on vacation and playing golf while an attempted terrorist effort was thwarted by a airline passenger and faulty detonator, but his Rasmussen Presidential Tracking Index is still terrible at -16%. For the 36th polling day in a row, Barack Hussein Obama has a negative double digit index.

Many Americans now look at Obama’s government interference and take over as the problem, not the solution. More people now than ever think that Obama’s $787 billion stimulus plan hurt the economy, not helped it. This should do wonders for Obama’s approval ratings when unemployment remains steady and the economy continues to flounder.  Obamacare has also hurt The One beyond words.

Thirty-eight percent (38%) now believe the economic stimulus plan passed earlier this year has hurt the economy. Just 30% believe it helped. That’s the first time since the legislation passed that a plurality offered a negative assessment.

Most voters (52%) are concerned that the government will do too much in terms of responding to the economic challenges. Just 35% fear it will not do enough.

Wait until the poll for blaming the poor economy becomes owned by Obama, rather than Bush … watch the approval ratings sink even further. No matter how you look at it the 2010 and 2012 elections do not bode well for Obama or Democrats.

Once again welcome to “Obama in Wonderland,” where everything is upside down. Only in “Obama in Wonderland” is the system considered working like clockwork when a terrorist is able to get a bomb on bard a plane, attempt to explode it but fail to only because of a faulty detonator. The spin out of this administration is frightening and dangerous.

This morning on ABC’s “This Week” with Jake Tapper, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano actually  said that “everything went according to clockwork” in how passengers, crew, air industry, state and local enforcement and the government reacted to the attempted terror bombing of Flight 253.

I guess we all would hate to see if the system actually failed according to Obama minions.

“Once the incident occurred, every thing worked.”

Um, the fact of the matter is that only a failed detonator was the difference between allowing passenger Jasper Schuringa to subdue terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on Northwest Airlines 253 or the senseless killing of passengers aboard the airplane.

Her exact comment was “… once this incident occurred, every thing went according to clockwork.” Are you insane Ms Napolitano? We are not interested that “once the incident occurred that everything went according to clockwork”, we are interested as to why BEFORE THE INCIDENT OCCURRED, why everything did not go according to clockwork!!! We could care less as to how officials reacted after the fact. Who in their right mind thinks the system worked? As stated at The Corner, “I would wager that not one percent of Americans think the system is “working” when terrorists successfully get bombs onto planes (and succeed in activating them).”

What the public is concerned about is how the incident occurred, not what the Obama administration did after it happened! How did this terrorist get explosives on the plane?

Try as you might, you can’t sweep this one under the carpet and blame it on George W. Bush.

Remember when the left was up in arms about how President Bush was supposedly “warned” about 9/11?

It’s always struck me as silly — and more than a little unfair — to expect any administration to be “warned” about a potential attack if it’s just part of a list of thousands of potential problems.

That being said, given the 9/11 experience, wouldn’t it be reasonable to expect that, if a man’s own father warned the US about him and his intentions, that the potential troublemaker would at least make it onto a “no fly” list?

SEC Football Shocker … Florida Gators Football Coach Urban Meyer Resigns Over Heart Health Concerns

Florida Gators coach Urban Meyer says just days before his Gators play in the Sugar Bowl that he will resign from coaching following the game due to health reason.

That hit home when chest pains sent him to the hospital after Alabama beat his Florida Gators in the Southeastern Conference championship game on Dec. 5.

And so on Saturday, exactly three weeks later, the 45-year-old Meyer shook all of college football by saying he was stepping down. He resigned after five seasons and two national titles. In so many words, he said he needed to get his priorities straight.

He will coach his final game at the Sugar Bowl against Cincinnati on New Year’s Day.

In the end, it was about Myer’s health and his family being his #1 priority. No one can fault Myer for making this decision to resign. In the end all one has is their health.

“I have given my heart and soul to coaching college football and mentoring young men for the last 24-plus years and I have dedicated most of my waking moments the last five years to the Gator football program,” Meyer said in a statement. “I have ignored my health for years, but recent developments have forced me to re-evaluate my priorities of faith and family.”

Urban’s family: “No chance” Meyer reconsiders quitting

I realize this comes as sacrilege to SEC football fans; however, in the end there is much, much more to life that SEC college football.

Shelley Meyer, wife of Urban Meyer, said in a text message there’s “no chance” Meyer will change his mind about quitting his job as Gators coach.

“This is the best decision for him and us right now,” Shelley said.

WKMG-Channel 6’s David Pingalore reported last night that the University of Florida football coach had suffered a midseason heart attack and told no one about it. Pingalore cited a source on the team, who said that Meyer shared the heart-attack news in a team meeting on Saturday.

WFTV-Channel 9 said it was first to break the story that Meyer, citing health reasons, is resigning after the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day. Meyer was hospitalized with chest pains after Florida lost to Alabama on Dec. 5, WFTV’s Joe Kepner reported.

The Sugar Bowl against the Cincinnati Bearcats will be Myer’s last game as head coach of the Gators. With the departure of Tim Tebow and now Urban Myer, that game should set up as quite the emotional one. We can truly say that following the Sugar Bowl game and the departures of Tebow and Meyer … Gator nation has lost its heart and soul.

The father, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, a former minister and chairman of First Bank in Nigeria, is shocked that his son was even was allowed to fly to the U.S., family members told the Nigerian newspaper This Day.

The dad was meeting with security officials to discuss his son, identified as Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, 23.

The younger Mutallab was not on any no-fly list when he flew from Nigeria to Detroit through Amsterdam, Rep. Pete King (R-L.I.) told the Daily News.

She was playing outside with her two sisters when a man ran up and kidnapped her. He took a picture of her elder sister and also tried to lower the pants of one of her sisters according to KPHO News.

A 5-year-old girl abducted by a man as she played outside her Phoenix home Friday was rescued hours later after police chased down the suspect’s pickup and found her “alive and well” inside, officials said.

Actor Charlie Sheen Arrested in Colorado on Domestic Violence Charges

44 year old actor Charlie Sheen (Carlos Irwin Estevez) was arrested in Colorado on  Christmas morning on felony charges related to domestic violence allegations. What a way to spend one’s Christmas. Sheen was released in the late afternoon after posting $8,500 bond.

The 44-year-old actor was taken into custody Friday morning by officers responding to a 911 call from a house in this ski resort town about 200 miles west of Denver.

An ambulance went to the house, but the accuser was not taken to the hospital.

Sheen, the star of CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” was taken to the Pitkin County jail and booked for investigation of second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, Aspen police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro said.

The name of the accuser of the domestic violence was not released as per police department policy. However, that does not prevent TMZ from publishing the name.

Police said the victim was not hospitalized, and they did not release a name. TMZ is reporting — from an unnamed source — that the woman involved was Sheen’s third wife, Brooke Mueller. The actor married the real estate investor in 2008.

So why did CNN host Ali Velshi, not once but twice, prevent NY US Representative Peter King from saying the name of the terrorist who tried to set off an explosive aboard a Northwest Airline plane?

CNN’s Ali Velshi on Friday stopped Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) from divulging the name of the terrorist who tried to set off a bomb as a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam began to land in Detroit.

Velshi did this claiming, “[W]e have not got any information on anyone being charged. So thank you for bringing us information. But would ask you not to name anybody on TV right now, we do not have any word of official charges.”

By this time, other news outlets including the Associated Press, CBS, and Fox News had given the suspect’s name, Abdul Mudallad.
