RSSLife Imitating Satire … The Nobel Peace Prize Becomes the Ultimate Joke to SNL’s “Do Nothing” Obama Presidency
How comical and absurd was Obama’s being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? Saturday Night Live’s satire of their liberal Obamamessiah President as a record of nothing and a do nothing Commander and Chief was more of an actual commentary as to The One’s time in office than a spoof.
Last week we commented on SNL’s scathing satire of Barack Obama and his “do nothing” Presidency. SNL stated, Obama was not a socialist. Barack Obama had a RECORD OF NOTHING. Almost one year and nothing to show for it …
One really glaring issue is brought up in the humorous comparison between SNL and the Noble Peace Prize decision. SNL stated one year and Obama has done nothing so it begs to ask the question what did Obama do in 11 days as President? Would not the nomination of a Nobel candidate have to include their accomplishments? How could the Nobel Peace Prize committee consider accomplishments of a nominee that were not on an application? Hmm? The answer is, you can’t.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 1, meaning the president was nominated after being in office for just 11 days.
The award is “extraordinarily unprecedented,” Michael Worek, author of “Nobel: A Century of Prize Winners,” told ABC News.
“It would be like awarding the Oscar halfway through the movie. You’re not saying it’s a bad movie, you aren’t knocking it. But we just don’t know how it ends,” Worek said.
However, the writers at SNL were out done this past week on the comedy front. Barack “a record of nothing” Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for literally doing nothing. When it was first announced that Obama won the award the first thing people did was check the calendar to make sure that it was not April Fool’s Day. Who didn’t think that this was a goof or a news report from either The Onion or Scrappleface when they were read it?
Oh wait, maybe the following achievements from Macminds are the reasons why Obama received the ward? I think the following certainly apply to the award that had become nothing more than an anti-USA award.
- Disarmed Eastern Europe through pulling back missile defense.
- Spent 1.4 Million taxpayer dollars on failed trip to Copenhagen to win Chicago Olympics bid.
- Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia.
- Praised Marxist Daniel Ortega.
- Apologized for America four times around the globe.
The United States Department of State via CNN tried to defend the absurd by stating that it was better to win the award than having shows thrown at you. An obvious reference to former President GWB having shoes thrown at him by an Iraqi journalist.
“Certainly from our standpoint, this gives us a sense of momentum — when the United States has accolades tossed its way, rather than shoes.”
That’s the take of Hillary Clinton’s State Department on President Obama being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, according to her spokesman, Assistant Secretary PJ Crowley.
I beg to differ. Personally, I would rather have shoes thrown at me for something that I was perceived to do that upset somebody than falsely winning an award that I did “ZERO” to earn. President Barack Obama said that he was surprised and deeply humbled by the news that he won the award. He should have added embarrassed.

But wait, you will be happy to know that there will be more posts on Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize and how it shows that this do nothing, joke of a pant-load, empty suit president is a complete hypocrite.
The winning of this award just proves how much of a paper President that Obama truly is.
The number of emails received from my Democrat friends only emphasize the joke of this award. 99% of them gasped when he was provided this award and shook their head stating, great … this just proves what the Republicans, Rush and talk radio has been saying about Obama was correct. He needs to be falsely propped up and given cover in order to be President. Their words, not mine.

#2, look at it as if a post is a chapter in a book. I know this may come as a surprise to you but this is not the first time (although everything with Obama is categorized as the first and historic) that a topic has been disguised and posted multiple times.
Its done for effect.
So many things were inherently wrong with Obama winning this award that it could never be written in one post. It would be far too long. Much like many subject matters are.
I wonder how The One sleeps knowing that he actually took an award and money away from an individual who actually was deserving of the award?

since obama sucks at economics and was passed over for this Noble Prize they had to give him a token prize. however, i don’t see peace as one of his virtues either.
maybe he could have had the Best Teleprompter Reader Prize or, the Blame The Previous President Prize, or the Most Thugs In Government Prize.
