RSSMEGAN McALLISTER FIANCEE OF CRAIGSLIST KILLER PHIL MARKOFF STANDS BY HER MAN
Quincy, MA- Megan McAllister, fiancee of murder, armed robbery and kidnapping suspect Philip Haynes Markoff is standing by her man. McAllister, who lived with Markoff, sent an email this morning to Good Morning America that was read aloud on the air.

this BU Med Student, Phil Markoff really pulled the wool over this fiance’s eyes… when the shock wears off and she sees her fiance as he is, a killer ~ whoa… her fantasy life, just went down the tubes and sad to say, she’s in major denial… perhaps, when she looks back, she’ll be able to see the red flags and signs of his nature and behavior… he had a gambling problem, so I’ve heard…
If her fiance’s motive was to rob this massage therapist in Copley ~ why kill her? He took her $800.00 went to the casino and won over $5,000.00 blood money… he took a young womens life ~ ripped her away from her loving family, forever and destroyed another’s dreams… so selfish ~
No winners here… very, very, sad… very.
Ms McAllister should go home to the Jersey shore and get the mental health counseling that she is so deserving of. She will recover long before this case goes before a judge. In the meantime she will find it quite cathartic to return the dress, cancel the reception and relinquish the 20 hotel rooms which she set aside for guests.
She should consider herself lucky that she got away from this person. When she is counting her lucky stars maybe she could say a prayer for the victims of the person she called the most wonderful fiance any girl could have.
At the end of the day no one will ever care about how you feel. Jalissa is the only one we know for sure that he killed. Many were harmed by him and it is only a matter of time until further investigations turn up other victims.
The Brisman family must be horrified at your description.

I wonder if the Boston PD are looking into the Rebecca Payne murder, the 22 year-old Connecticut college student who was shot to death in her apartment in the Mission Hill section of Boston. Could there be a link to this killer?
Sammie, you should consider contacting the Boston PD and mentioning this… when did this happen, I don’t recall hearing about it on the news… such a shame ~ God rest her soul…
This case defines the word tragedy. I would like to think of Philip Markoff as innocent until proven guilty, but new details coming out every day make matters very grim for him. I am referring the the police matching his gun to the murder, the victims’ lingerie, flex ties and tape found in his apartment, his fingerprints found in the hotel in Warwick, RI where yet another woman was bound, taped and robbed, etc. However, no one should criticize or judge his fiancee. Can anyone begin to imagine what this past week has been like for her? I know I can’t. She is an innocent young woman who loves this man, was planning to spend the rest of her life with him, and he betrayal and shock must be overwhelming for her. Mr. Markoff has destroyed so man lives, not least of all, his own. He is obviously a very troubled young man who successfully wore the mask of sanity for a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the young woman who was murdered and Mr. Markoff’s fiance. I’m sure it will be a long time before they are able to function normally again.
It must be devestating for not only her, the fiance, but for his parents/family as well… as mentioned, there are no winners here… it’s all very sad ~ truly ~ I do hope she does receive some form of counseling as it will take quite some time to work through the shock, anger, grief and rebuild her shattered dream ~ truly… for the victims family, their daughter was taken from them, my heart extends to them the most ~ a beautiful young woman, (regardless of her lifestyle, she did not deserve murder)… if Markoff’s motive was money and to support his apparent gambling habit, he should have let her live… it has been reported that Jalissa put up one heck of a fight, for her life and he murdered her… apparently, it was more than money motivating him… power and control issues, along with a more sinister, sociopolitical twist ~ The Boston police did a fine job in catching him, I shudder to think if he hadn’t gotten caught, who his next victims would have been… he became more empowered each time and more than likely, there were more victims… his girlfriend, was very lucky not to have been one of them herself… bless her ~ I’m sure, she’s a lovely woman too ~ and her worlds been turned upside down ~ as his family’s has too… he’s not well.
The other issue here, is that Craigslist needs to stop their erotic advertising and I applaud the 40 DA’s Nationwide and especially, the DA from Connecticut for challenging them to stop advertising their erotic ads… child trafficking, pornography and these ads are keeping them viable and unfortunately, the money talks and under the FTC laws, their loopholes have allowed this ~ 9 billion hits a month ~ (reported from the Boston Globe), for Craigslist erotic ads… frightening, absolutely frightening… we live in a very sick society where woman and children continue to be exploited and it’s time, for our lawmakers to put the pressure on and/or change laws to protect our children/young adults/young women…
If this woman wanted a career in prostitution, she could have considered the Netherlands, where it’s controlled ~ I’m not sure, it’s legalized there, but tolerated, like their drug trade ~
I am not endorsing legalized prostitution, but it sadly exists, as does human trafficking, child human trafficking, and such ~ our legislatures need to put the pressure on and place value on our children ~ cracking down on pornography, the sex slave trade, prostitution, child pornography and abuse ~ it is big money, BIG big money and that’s what’s driving the industry ~ staggering amounts of money are made ~ look at the statistics uncovered in the Boston Globe 4/22/09 article ~ an eyeopener ~
for Craigslist, it’s all about the money and they need to do the right thing ~ to me, they’ve got blood on their hands, so to speak, with Jalissa’s death ~ creeps like Markoff, seek em out and prey upon them… I doubt this was about money, but more about power and control… time will show how many other victims laid in his destructive path ~ his girlfriend, will be affected, no doubt about it, however, in time, she’ll thank God, she did not marry him ~ she too, may have been a victim of his… it would have been a matter of time ~
