Nashville, TN Tea Party an Amazing Success … Music City Tea Party A Singing Success

Tea Parties … a huge success … this is just the beginning

Don’t let anyone in the media or on the LEFT tell you that there were hundreds of protectors in Music City … there were thousands.

The Nashville, TN “TEA PARTY” was nothing but a resounding success. All I can say is WOW!!! Thousands upon thousands turned out in downtown Nashville to let their voices be hears and heard they were. Luckily, I happened to be here on business today and was glad I was. Surrounded by a mass of humanity, there was a constant theme that the tax and spending must end. Tea Party goers are tired of the Obama socialist spending and the debt being incurred by our children and grandchildren.

War Memorial Plaza, right next to Legislative Plaza was packed with protesters. The streets were lines with sign waving protesters all with one message. The Obama spending must end. The bailouts must end. However, this was not just a message to Barack Obama. It was a shot across the bow to all politicians especially Republicans. Start acting responsible to “We the People”. As Phil Valantine, syndicated conservative talk show host on Nashville’s local radio station 97.7 WTN Supertalk and speaker at today’s rally … I hate socialism!!! He also said …

“The profile of an ex-Congressman is someone who went to Washington and voted for a bailout. The profile of an ex-Congressman is some body who is bailing out the auto industry as we speak.”

From other Tea Parties across America:

UPDATE I: So Barack Obama is not Aware of the Tea Parties, huh?

It is hard to believe that this informed President is not aware that there are Tea Parties going on in all 50 states across America. Of course for Barack, they are taking place in 57 states. One would suspect the White House is trying to trivialize the tea parties. As  Marc Ambinder states the tea parties really are something.

But the tea parties really are something. Their origins — organic, programmatic, accidental or otherwise — don’t matter much anymore. If — and we’ll have to see the numbers at the end of the day — 100,000 Americans show up to protest their taxes, the onus to dismiss them as a nascent political force shifts to the Democrats.  There’s no evidence that official Republican strategists connected with the Republican National Committee, John Boehner’s office or the NRSC had the insight to conceive of these events, much less to try and bigfoot the organizers.

From the looks of where your photos were taken, we were practically standing next to each other. The Tea Party host said there was 10,000 people there. I’ve seen other estimations of around 7,500. At any rate there were certainly more than a few hundred. It was a good day.

      #1. Very cool.

It was certainly a packed house. We are working on some great videos of the event.

Yeah, I heard on radio 9700 after.

I must say it was different from some rallies I have covered of the LEFT. Never had a prayer before a protest before.

Also, everyone was so well behaved, the only one’s that were not were the plants.

      Kudos to Music City.

This is gaining steam. These parties need to keep happening as they are growing in number. Think about how far these have come since the first ones in February. where there were scattered tea party gatherings. It has gone from hundreds to thousands and it CAN GET BIGGER!

What a great success and F the liberals and MSM!

    7. SUPER DAVE on April 16th, 2009 7:16 am

this should happen in every city in the US no matter how large or small. the obama administration is worried believe me or they would not have a special group covering these events.
look for obama to come up with a thug group to disrupt these rallies similar to the black panthers. that’s when it gets really ugly.

    8. Wolf on April 16th, 2009 8:12 am’s cool…it’s their right..but who is going to save them when a tornado rips their house apart…or a hurricane floods their house? Who? That’s right..the money they paid in taxes…..

SM: Dude, do you not get this?

It has nothing to do with not paying any taxes. Do not compare govt loan to disaster victime to corporate bail out or redistribution of wealth.

That is not what this is about … its about fiscal responsibility to both Democrats & Republicans

RE: #8 – “Dude”??? You really are 13, aren’t you? ;-) Well, let me ask you a question, dewd: Why do you “moderate” remarks like this one and never do the same to folks like “Supper Dave” when he calls the President a “boy” and makes inflammatory statements like “look for obama to come up with a thug group to disrupt these rallies similar to the black panthers”?

    19. Cay on April 16th, 2009 10:31 am

Don’t give up guys we can help make some real change. Most Americans don’t understand what is really happening and how their money is really spent on interest for government loans. Don’t waste time addressing the ACORN folks who spend all day following us and work hard to discourageus. KEEP IT UP WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE WE ARE NOT THE MINORITY!

    20. whytegirl on April 16th, 2009 10:35 am

Went to the Erie, PA tea party-inside a brewery! Awesome! Next to it a restaurant that totally supported the Tea Party and had it scribbled all over the place. I believe 300-400 were in attendance, since inside it was like a mini-Grand Station b/c Greyhound stops there. Crammed to the max…I never saw who was speaking, it was just all heads!

I can send you pics if you want, love the signs. I was very proud that I was part of history, to have my voice heard, and to be an American. I believe now the independents and dems. realize how the msm has worked their brains out.

    21. scott on April 16th, 2009 12:38 pm

Yep Dolf…talk about cheap shots and moronic ones at that. You have no dog in this fight, go away! Typical Dutch view that Bush “started” these wars. Riiigght! I guess those 4 hijacked airplanes had nothing to do with it. If you don’t understand the Iraq War and why it was important then you are crack head and there’s no hope for you. I-R-A-N (that’s the reason pipe head) Are you THAT stupid to think Saddamm didn’t have WMDs? People question what Congress does and says yet everybody takes the Commission Report as FACT? HA! Everybody knows Syria has those WMDs. I knew your were a nut-job.

Wolf – get lost…you’re a fool just trying to start crap. You know exactly what this was about!

      Elmer – tool.

The three of you remind of the three stooges. The reason you don’t get it is one either you’re a puke Dutchmen or a leech of the government wanting your handout from those who earned their money. This was about the government spending our tax dollars morons! Well, not the for the one who is sticking his big fat nose in matters that do not pertain to him.

    23. Wolf on April 16th, 2009 4:15 pm

      #21 Scott…

Yea…I get it…most of the people who are crying about gov. spending are the ones that supported Bush..and his wars against a country that couldn’t even fart out a wmd let alone build one.Yea Saddam was bad..yea he killed people..that is a sad story..but those stories are all over the world..and we’re not fighting a war in every least not yet. One thing some people will never understand is that they don’t want a democracy..they don’t want us there…So why are we still there? To win you might say? Because of 9-11? You’re kidding know those guys were born in Saudi right Scott? You’re reading too many conspiracy theory books there buddy.

    24. scott on April 17th, 2009 6:41 am

Wolf – typical liberal talking points. They don’t want a democracy? Are you kidding? How do you know that? You live in Iraq? You watch too much CNN and MSNBC where they only report the bad. You do know that Bush started pulling troops out of Iraq don’t you? Do you know why? The SURGE worked.

Sure there are dissenters just like you, but overall those people want to be free and want a democracy. I guess the majority of the Iranian people don’t want democracy either, right? Get a clue.

The only people that believe in conspiracies theories are crack pot liberal like you who think the US government was behind 9-11.

Seriously, all you liberals talked about the only reason Bush went to Iraq was for oil, YET we had RECORD high gas prices last summer. Where’s the OIL? What’s the excuse now?

Don’t you get IRAN is a serious threat to major US interests in the Middle East? Can you read a map?

You do know that the Taliban harbored Bin Laden and allowed him to live freely in Afghanistan? You do know that Bin Laden trained Al Qaeda soldiers in Afghanistan? You do know that the Taliban helped fund the 9-11 attacks?

So drop the Saudia Arabia liberal idiotic talking point! Nobody buys that sorry argument anymore.

You do know that Obama flip flopped on his pulling out of Iraq? He’s leaving 50K troops there. You do know that he’s sending 17K or more troops to Afghanistan? You do know he’s sending BILLIONS to Pakistan? For what? Besides sending military personnel into Pakistan, kind of the same question needs to be asked? Why? Liberals don’t want to talk about these issues though!

Why is Obama keeping the same phone tap policies in place that were started under Bush? You do know he is probably going to expand this?

You do know that the major reason behind the economic problem is the housing crisis NOT the spending in Iraq? You do know that Clinton started this housing mess with his “everybody should own a home” policies; creating the mess called Fannie and Freddie because people like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. Banks were pressued into giving loans to people that couldn’t afford them? You do know that Obama has TRIPLED down on the debt incurred by Bush in just under 90 days?

      Schools out!

    25. SUPER DAVE on April 17th, 2009 7:15 am

barry o is just angry that the dumbocrats didn’t throw him a jungle juice party. now that the attention is off him and back to patriotic citizens of America, it took the wind out of his sail and he’s not the center of attention.

    26. on April 17th, 2009 7:52 am

I don’t understand why the liberals are so threatened. Yes, Bush lowered taxes for the people who paid taxes. So what? Did you expect him to lower taxes for those who don’t pay? How do you do that? Do you realize that almost 50% of Americans do not pay taxes?

I am away for a month, but I am so proud of Americans across the nation that took the time and effort to protest government pork spending at the expense of taxpayers in this and future generations. It is our right to protest peacefully and its certainly time to do so. It’s unforgivable that the news media is in the tank for O and turns on the very people they are suppose to serve. And then they wonder why their news agencies aren’t doing too well!

Code Pink can send 10 people anywhere and get crazy coverage but let the ordinary people try to speak and the hate comes pouring out.

Now you all shut up, be good little people and pay your taxes so O (the great one) can accomplish his redistribution to these hate mongers who sit on their butts waiting for your tax dollars.

      Who is John Galt?

    27. Dolf on April 20th, 2009 7:18 am

scott, who did start those wars?
      certainly not the French…….

      Al Qaida reason: folded
WMD reason: Folded (i did believe this 1)

but….wait we have a new reason IRAN
      keep on dreaming scottie

and you still don’t seem the understand the notion of a GLOBAL economy

you know..GLOBAL is not the US

People, this is not a “Left vs. Right” conflict.

Both the Democrats and Republicans are controlled by the Bankers. Bought, owned, and paid for by the Bankers. Sara Palin is NOT for freedom and liberty. She is a Republican. It’s not in the Tea Party’s best interest to embrace this “chatty Cathy” who has the I.Q. of chewing gum!

The Tea Party should not be a movement that allows support to either of the parties that have taken turns ruining America and our Constitution.

The Tea Party should have clear principles that denounce both parties; denounce the mainstream media; denounce the Wars; denouce the Bankers; denounce the security grid being forced on We The People!

The Tea Party is being hi-jacked by banker-paid Republicans WHO, supported Bush when he was starting wars and giving banks trillions of dollars and signing our names to it all!

Congress is paid for by the Bankers.
The Supreme Court is paid for by the Bankers.
The news media is owned by the Bankers.
All our wars are paid for by the Bankers.
The Democrats and Republicans are owned by the Bankers! Period!

      The Bankers are our enemy!
      The Bankers are our enemy!
      The Bankers are our enemy!

Eliminate the Bankers and you take away the money to buy the politicians from the Left and the Right. Elect unaffiliated people to political positions and you have common-sense government. Everyday people need to be elected. NOT “professional” politicians who do nothing but manipulate the laws! Stop electing the same two parties!

      The ENEMY are the BANKERS!

I am fully behind the tea parties, and attend local and near by parties. I am a conservative all the way. Love Sarah.
I have heard some local tea party supporters saying that they were turned off by this event. Their feeling is that it was a money maker, and that someone found a way to make some money. ie; merchandise sales and high cost to attend.
Might I suggest that you be as transparent as possible. List the number of persons attending at $500.00 a pop. Where did the money go. (Itemizing may not be needed, but give a general idea)
I want the Tea Party Movement to be a success and to get the most qualified people elected. I give my suggestion with all sincerity, and wish only the best for all. I will continue to support those with my Ideals.
