Tea Party, a Fringe Element? Hardly, The Tea Party Movement is Of, By and For the People

Barack Obama, THE TEA PARTY IS WE THE PEOPLE …

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Democrats and their spin doctor propagandists can try and marginalize The Tea Party Movement all they want. The Democrats can try and tell the American people that The Tea Party is a fringe movement. However, a note to Democrats … the American People feel more associated with the Tea Party than they do politicians in Washington, DC.

The Democrats and Obama just don’t get it. WE THE PEOPLE is the Tea Party. When they insult the Tea Party, they are upsetting and mocking a majority of the American people. Democrats have never understood that the Tea Party movement was the people who finally stood up and refused to take it any longer. Democrats mock the Tea Party and in essence they mock the very people who will be voting in the upcoming elections. Keep it up Dems, the more you do this … the more seats you will lose this November.

In official Washington, some consider the Tea Party movement a fringe element in society, but voters across the nation feel closer to the Tea Party movement than they do to Congress.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress. Only 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of the key issues facing the nation.

When it comes to those issues, 47% think that their own political views are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than to the views of the average member of Congress. On this point, 26% feel closer to Congress.

Finally, 46% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is more ethical than the average member of Congress. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say that the average member of Congress is more ethical.

Congress presently has a job approval rating that is below 20%. The Democrat controlled Congress has refused to listen to the will of the people. Of course those that would speech out against what has become a tyrannical government would have the backing of WE THE PEOPLE. Most politicians do not represent their constituents any more, they are party first.

For all the lies, all the accusations and all the bunk … the Tea Party and We the People remain strong and we shall see you all in November.

Beware, as Obama tries to legalize 8 – 12 million illegals so as to create 8 – 12 million new Democrat voters and maintain control of Congress in November.

Seriously guys, the tea party is a fringe group. I hope that the republicans listen to the hype and move even farther to the right. Rasmussen isn’t a real pollster anymore – they’ve been inventing numbers for the Repubs for years.
      _____________
SM: Cami, with all due respect, you do not have a clue as to what you are talking about. It is frightening that there are such uninformed, clueless, Kool-aid drinking people like yourself.

The Tea Party movement grew from people who go sick and tired of an over-reaching government. These folks do not care too much of Republicans who betray their word and the Constitution.

Keep your head in the sand, wait until this Fall. I guess youy will be wondering what hit you the morning after.

As for Scott Rasmussen not being a real pollster anymore. Are you a complete moonbat? I hate to inform you of this little tid bit but Rasmussen got the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Presidential elections right. Almost dead on. You know, that 2008 election where your boy Obama won. No cred my A$$.

You are the one who has no credibility. You just can’t handle the truth.

The Tea Party’s primary goal is to bring down the Ombama Presidency, by killing the health care bill. You failed. By doing everything that you can to block every thing that the Democratic Party proposes.(you failed)Now you are shooting at our law makers and trying to spread fear about your so called ‘November Revenge” Well let me tell you!! Because of the Tea Party’s shananigans, The Republican Party will lose more seats in the congressional elections in the Fall, and PRESIDENT OMBAMA WILL WIN IN 2012

Our education system has failed. There can be no
other explanation for the considerable number of
adults and youngsters that are devoid of historical
knowledge. Europe during the early and mid 1900s
is the perfect example of big governments going totally
wrong, and this new administration and a couple of
previous ones are right on track to repeat the proven
errors of that era. Our Constitution is the guiding
document that is being trampled and ignored. Time
to read and understand the way out of oppression
being thrust upon us by self serving criminals. The
formerly highly valued ‘watchdog’ press (media) has
      been neutered as well.

America prides itself on its history. A moment then…for a reflection on history – world history.

In the past a group of nationalist (pride in their nation-state) people felt their country had been taken from them. The world was in financial crisis – many had lost their jobs, their homes, their savings. The government was paralyzed by two parties who refused to cooperate and were preventing the government from functioning at all. Sound familiar?

The nationalists – who sought to save the country (honestly and sincerely)- gathered strength from rallying the people with a cry for taking back their country, for stopping inept government intrusion and bumbling, for putting government in the hands of true Patriots (not false, non-nationals or “others” less desirable and deserving). They aligned with the Conservative party (which had lost favor) – who rode the Nationalists’ growing social popularity but who felt their could control the nationalists once they won office. But, the Conservatives were wrong – the Nationalists, the People’s Party of Society, ruled the day! They got back the country “for the people!” They imposed strict Nationalism and Patriotism. They had National Pride, they had the Support of the People! They had put in place a functioning (albeit autocratic, some say totalitarian) government to protect them from all those against the Nation-State they loved. Then they found out (just a little too late) what they had actually put in place – it was not quite what they had bargained for.

Two points if you can guess the country and early 20C year (not ours – yet) described above. 5 points for naming their leader. 10 pts for making the connection to the Tea Party. (Hopefully you all were paying attention in 6th grade history class).

Two suggestions – read your history (world history) and be very, very careful in how you proceed. Don’t put in place what will eventually curtail your own freedoms (yours – not the leaders of the Tea Party – they will not lose their rights – as they will write the new rules). It has happened before. It will happen again.

#5-Cami and # 7- Richard—Honestly, it’s people like the both of you who contribute to what I call the absolute DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA. It’s really non-productive to waste time trying to educate people like you—but I will say this—-you are both completely way off base about what the real meaning behind the Tea Party Movement is. If you want to continue to believe it is entirely comprised of radical right wingers—go ahead—just shows your complete ignorance there. Here is the deal though—since you misunderstand the movement completely—you better begin to learn how to start sucking it up b/c they aren’t going away any time soon.

Lastly—just to OPEN YOUR MINDS a little and even the playing field in the World of Politics—let us just demonstrate to you how we are in touch with the fact that there are a bunch of IDIOTS on BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE—

      http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2010/03/29/2010-03-29_gop_family_values_michael_steeles_rnc_staffers_ran_up_almost_2k_at_strip_club.html

Yes, complete & udder MORONIC behavior abounds and it does not matter the political party of choice. At least we can admit to that where you live in a world where anything against your liberal bleeding heart views are evil. Get a grip!

BTW, as a reg. Independent it wouldn’t take me very long to find the buffouns in our group either. Since we are all humans, they are speckled about every where. Where we have to take ownership as Americans is to SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT- take action and demand accountability for those things we find offensive or issues we will not compromise on—take back control of how our Government is being run. They don’t call it a democracy for nothing! WE ARE THE DEMOCRACY. WE ARE THE PEOPLE. The TEA PARTY is THE PEOPLE. Our founding Fathers would not have wanted it any other way.

    11. Michelle Smith on March 30th, 2010 10:33 am

#10 Very good post. Could not have said it better myself. It just kills me that people think they know what the tea party is all about but don’t have a clue. The tea party isn’t going away anytime soon. Watch someone play the race card with this. It has nothing to do with party affiliation or race or gender. It is simply about preserving our rights & getting back to the basics that our founding fathers set out in the Constitution. Some people will never understand.

    12. rightknight on March 30th, 2010 11:39 am

Cannot we all imagine a 100% Government Monopoly
serving We the People? Just wonderful loving, caring
rulers taking care of all their little sheep, mmmm, mmm,
mmmm, Barack Hussein Obama ( aka: Barry Soetoro)!
Just what quantity of drugs would be necessary for
      that pipe dream?

    13. Scott on March 30th, 2010 2:22 pm

Ah – Richard you moron; it was not a tea partier who threatned REPUBLICAN Eric Cantor; it was one of your heartless, souless liberal puke a$$ wipes; just like the one that got shot at the Capitol. There is no evidence of the lies the Dems have tried to spew on the Tea Party. Not one picture or proof of violence; NOR any proof any of the things said were said. Stop watching MSNBC you idiot!

As for Cami, well you should stick to something you know; like stripping or prostitution! You are a complete and utterless UNINFORMED MORON! What grade are you in? Freshman year in college?

If the Tea Party was such a fringe group, then why did Scott Brown get elected, Gov Bob O’Donnell in Virginia; why Marc Rubio leads the traitor Charlie Crist?

Can you answer honestly? Do the American people overwhemingly reject this atrocity called health reform? From your blinded stupidity, you probably think they do; but all the polls say they don’t.

Why does Obama’s numbers keep dropping AFTER signing this bill? He got the slightest of bumps ups and now is falling again; THIS ACCORDING TO GALLUP.

I guess GALLUP isn’t relevant anymore? The polls are only good to Dems when they show they are winning.

Rasmussen is the most sought after pollster out there you two bit elitist moron and Red is right, he’s almost been dead on in the last 3 presidential elections. He must know something.

VB…don’t tell us to read PROGRESSIVE World History or any PROGRESSIVE US History. I know the US History books are slanted to promote progressive views. Why else would OUR history books give credit to the end of the Cold War to Gorbachev when everyone knows Reagan was the primary person in ending the Cold War and bringing down the wall.

You might want to actually read books outside of schoolroom history books that actually tell the truth and not the way the progressives want our children to learn it. Texas is doing the right thing in challenging these books of lies being taught to our children.

Keep on believing the progressive bullcrap. My kid will NOT be subjected to this progressive brainwashing that is being shoved down our children’s throat…You jackarse get a grip you heartless souless bleeding heart liberal puke!

    14. NewGirlBoston on March 30th, 2010 9:48 pm

#11-Michelle—thanks for the compliment. It’s kind of comforting to know that there are many other people like you who “get it”. =) We shouldn’t even throw the other dogs a bone. They are helpless and clueless and obviously never paid attention in School during American History 101.

What makes them snot nosed pukes is how they judge every one else who stand up for what they believe in. Oh, and of course you are correct they will drag up the race issue again—what else is new, right?

They all suck and will still not admit they are wrong once the upcoming elections in November send more shockwaves through the Country. Ha, can’t wait for that.

    15. yoyo muffintop on March 31st, 2010 12:35 pm

#14 – LOL. You better re-take that American History 101 class you are taking about…The US is not a democracy as you state in #10. Where did you learn that? Talk about helpless and clueless.

    16. NewGirlBoston on March 31st, 2010 4:06 pm

#15—Oh My God—-look who has risen from the dead. It’s our old friend YOYO.

I’m going to continue to keep your lame arse on squelch mode. I really don’t need to re-learn American History from your point of view.

      Thanks, but NO THANKS

It is interesting how many Tea party supporters when confronted, will throw personal insults at those who disagree instead of a rational discussion with facts. Many objective polls show the popularity of the tea party is going down and this will have a real negative bearing on the GOP house races in 2014.
