Joran Van der Sloot, the sociopath is back …
Did Joran Van der Sloot just admit to kidnapping and human trafficking last night in an interview On the Record? Joran Van der Sloot may have admitted to more crimes that could land him in jail for a longer period of time than just a murder charge. There are not too many people that Joran Van der Sloot did not implicate in criminal or unethical behavior. If we are to believe the story that Joran Van der Sloot provided Greta Van Susteren then we are to believe the following:
- Joran’s lawyer knew from the beginning that his client committed the crimes of kidnapping and human trafficking while stating that his client was innocent and had nothing to do with Natalee’s disappearance.
- That Paulus Van der Sloot was complicit in the cover up of his son’s crime and that he bribed Aruban police officers.
- That at least two Aruban police officers solicited and received bribes to keep quiet.
- That his teacher from his school was complicit in a cover up and obstructed justice knowing what Joran had done in selling Natalee.
- Deepak and Satish Kalpoe were accessories to the crime against Natalee Holloway and were paid $1000 for their participation in the crime.
- That Deepak, Satish and his American attorneys knowingly obstructed justice and solicited the promise of $1 million in order for a quit pro quo for Joran to remain quiet and not say anything damning against the Kalpoe’s.
- Joran admitted to premeditated kidnapping, human trafficking and potentially accessory to murder if his “mystery” man killed Natalee.

After all the admissions he has been caught in by secret filmed video, Joran Van der Sloot now has a new story to tell as to what happened to Natalee Holloway. In an interview with Greta Van Susteren Joran Van der Sloot now claims that he did not leave Natalee Holloway on the white sand beaches of Aruban that fateful night in 2005 but instead sold her to a Venezuelan man for $10,000.
Joran Vander Sloot becomes uncomfortable in interview when discussion moves to his father Paulus and the reference of giving bribes to Aruban police officers.

Joran Van der Sloot, the last reported person ever to see Natalee Holloway now tells the world that he sold Natalee Holloway to an unknown man in Aruba for $10K. He claims that an man that he met in an Aruban casino who is some where between the age of 30 to 40 offered Joran money for as was stated, “bring him a blonde girl.”
That began last nights interview with Joran Van der Sloot and the far fetched story of Joran Van der Sloot admitting to human trafficking and the sale of Natalee Holloway. However, was it far fetched? Just recently Dutch TV crime investigator Peter R de Vries just recently caught Joran Van der Sloot on secret video in a hotel room participating in human sex trafficking in Thailand.
Joran states that while at Carlos n’ Charlies and seeing Natalee Holloway and the condition she was in, he suddenly remembered the conversation he had with the “unknown man” who would pay him $10K for a blonde. Joran also implicated Deepak & Satish Kalpoe in the crime as he states he told them at the bar what his plan was. Joran would later say that he paid the Kalpoe’s $1000 each.
The story then goes that Joran and Natalee were dropped off at the beach near the Marriott as they was the meeting place for the mysterious stranger. Natalee Holloway was then placed on a boat and as Joran states never said a word. Believable?
In an interview with the US news channel, he claimed he repeatedly met the man in a casino. The Venezuelan offered him 10,000 US dollars.
Joran van der Sloot told how he watched Natalee, who was drunk, being hauled on board a vessel chartered by the Venezuelan. There was no struggle or anything, he said.
Natalee vanished on the Caribbean island of Aruba – part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands – on 30 May 2005. Joran van der Sloot has been arrested twice in connection with her disappearance, but without conclusive evidence he has never been brought to trial.
He now lives in Thailand, where he has come under suspicion
At the very end of the interview we learn that Joran Van der Sloot would later call back Greta and say that he was lying during the entire interview. Shocker!!! However, when dealing with a sociopath one must understand that there is a little truth within the many lies.

Well, as this so called factbased site: the fact is completely WRONG.
As Peter R de Vries already stated out: this interview is OLD. It is from the first half of this year. And therefor NOT recent. He did not give this INTERVIEW after the recent Peter R de Vries show (look at the difference in weight!).
Peter said already on his site that Fox had the interview but didn’t air it because they thought it was a FAKE interview with FAKE details. Now that Peter supposedly captured Joran ‘selling’ women, they put it on. (And this site presents it as RECENT. DUH!).
Peter thinks (and I completely agree with him) that Joran put this interview after the first show from Peter with the hidden camera in the SUV to give feed to the idea that he is a complete liar. And the more lies he tells, no one might believe him anymore… neither the bits of truth he told! So it is like a curtain of smoke to hide away the truth he might have told (the first hidden camera show from Peter with the SUV!).
I do hope people will see the timetable here: it happened after the first hidden camera show. So probably what he told there has the most truthfullness in it (even though I am not the biggest Peter fan, I completely agree with his thoughts on this).
Now hopefully they will get this asshole Joran and put him away (for the right reasons, not for the wrong ones).
Tonight it seems Greta will be back with more, including the wonderfull town of Seattle (didn’t the new AMERICAN friend from Joran in Thailand come from SEATTLE?).

Greta should have told him that she would do the interview IF and only IF he was hooked up to a POLYGRAPH.

Greta said Fox licensed the “chip” from Joran’s cell phone with the recorded conversations between Joran and his dad. I think that indicates Fox paid Joran for the chip, so yes, I think Joran did this for the money and to further muddy the waters. I think the statements he made on hidden camera shown of DeVries’ show are closer to the truth. He does seem to be mad at Paulus, and may be trying to punish Paulus for not continuing to support him financially.

I’d like to say ‘I told you so,’ but I also have questions about this tale. Why would Joran be coming out with this information at this time?
I’ve long thought that human trafficking might be the best explanation for Aruba’s baffling lies, inactions, and duplicity in Natalee’s case. But at this time, who can say whether this is just another story coming out from Joran?
I understand that new evidence … or ‘evidence’ … will be examined tonight. Perhaps that will make things clearer.
Of one thing, I am firmly convinced: Joran is a psychopath. This little bastard of a nonentity revels in being on the world stage, smirking as he comes up with his latest story, knowing that, for whatever reasons, Aruba won’t do anything.
Another of his intentions, and perhaps also the intention of someone in the background, is to cause the maximum anguish to the Holloway family.
If the behavior of this insect isn’t enough to get people to boycott Aruba, and to goad our government into demanding action, what will be?
And as for Natalee’s not putting up a struggle … once again, that’s only the words of this reptile. Who’s to say? I don’t rule out ANY explanation.
We should also note that this tale tends to take the emphasis away from the reported sighting of Joran and Paulus out that morning near the pond, with Joran wet and muddy.
And, of course, saying that Natalee was taken away by a Venezuelan (was a name given, or is this just another shadowy figure?) would detract from the search on Aruba and offshore … if it ever gets going again … and charges of murder.
Also, it puts the Kalpoes back in the picture. As I think they should be.
Even if this story proves to be true … it wouldn’t show that Natalee was still alive.
But since there’s good reason to believe that Amy Bradley, kidnapped from a cruise ship in March 1998, is still alive, it could be true for Natalee.
Not saying yes or no … but we can’t rule it out.
Another thing, Joran said he called this guy in the car with Natalee there. They talked Dutch. If this guy was from Venezuela how did he know dutch? They speak Spanish down there. The Kalpoes don’t even know dutch. Joran even said so. The ONLY truth to what Joran said last night is when he said EVERTHING he said were LIES. What Greta will do for MONEY !

I come here everyday hoping to read where someone has put this POS out of his misery. I would not be upset if there was collateral damage at the time, maybe his dad, mom, …..etc.
Men are accused at times of thinking with another part of their anatomy other than the brain. I do not have a clue what Greta is using to think with.
Evil – a word I save to describe few human beings. As a Mom to 3 girls, my heart is breaking again for Natalie and her loved ones. Finally “at rest” with the probability that their precious daughter is dead, they are now given a small glimmer of hope that perhaps they will see her again. As another replier mentions though – if Natalie IS found alive, in what condition will she return to her home? My fear is that if she is a victim of human trafficing, her captors will surely kill her (if they have not already), with the knowledge that officials are now obligated to look for her.

my bet is that joran is pi$$ed at many people but mainly his own father. some of what joran accused him of (bribes) can be followed by a paper trail. could the bribes be for covering the fact that joran drugged natalie? also it’s interesting how eager paulus was to clear his name in the aruban court system. could this be in case they uncovered the hush money he’d paid?
joran knew that whatever he said, it wouldn’t land him in jail without the hard evidence to back it up. this is why he made up the whole trafficking scenario while bringing up the bribes. the bribes may be able to be proven, the trafficking never happened. jmo.

Dutch newsshow ‘Hart van Nederland’ had the Greta/Joran-news tonight as well. At the end of the show the reporter said she heard from a reliable source that was close to Thai justice:
- Thai justice from the beginning have kept an eye on Joran;
- They are investigating all of the womenstrafficking stuff;
- They are now looking for the LAST PUZZLE PIECES;
- An arrest might be coming soon.

1. Greta asked him if he had the phone number of the man he sold Natalee to, he said no, then later in interview he stated he had the mans business card with phone number and that the man had contacted him, in Holland via email.
The man is sick, he plays this game that he can outwitt and outlie people. Truly sick, I wonder if there was some form of brain damage invetro or as a child.
i’d like to see myself the supposed “legal form” he says he got from an email from the kalpoes lawyer that he would receive a million dollars if they won their lawsuit IF he kept his mouth shut about them. well, it’s a little too late for that joran!! it seems to me that legal document could be easily verified. also the supposed western union wire transfer.

We DO know … I heard it from Beth directly at the ‘Alabama conference’ … that right after Natalee vanished, he was seen with a large pile of money. When asked where he got it, he laughed and said he won it at poker.

I found it very interesting upon reading the transcript that Greta vS asked him, “What did you think this man wanted a girl for?” and his reply was that he had no idea.
By the way, it’s not accurate to say that he didn’t have any idea what the man’s name was … what he said at the beginning of the interview, according to the transcript, is that he didn’t know if the name he was given was accurate.

Personally, I’m glad that this information came out. Whether it is because he is mad at his parents makes no difference to me. What we did get out of the interview was what we knew all along; Paulus bribed law enforcement. It also brings to light the fact that human trafficking exists and I was proud to hear Greta state the figures put out by the State Department. Human trafficking happens, all the time. Chances are, Natalee was a victim of it in one form or another. This interview brings to light what Beth and Jugs said all along:

I am an optimist. I look forward to the day when human traffickers and the crimes they commit against women and children, especially, are a thing of the past. But, many people are ignorant to the fact that it, even, exists. In my opinion, it’s about time that someone shine the light on the dark secrets that exist, not only in THEIR society, but our own, as well.

There is some truth in lies.
There were two cops that Papa paid off.
Joran says they must have seen him on the beach or some other feeble explanation.
Recall there are no normal ALE police on the beach; especially at night; that is part of the contract with the VCB Security Patrol.
Where else have police been at a crime scene. How about the Apartments the day after Natalee disappeared; when the ALE was told to clean up the mess.
Here in lies the basis for blackmail; not the scene on the beach; which I believe they were never there.
BTW the fish cage is too big for the Gottenbos’ boat and Lorenzo’s banana boat.
BTW II: Geoff and his father said that it was a good thing that Geoff stayed home that night; whereas Joe Tacopina says Geoff had beach duty that night. The both can’t be lying nor telling the truth.

I knew Joran was lying last night when Greta asked him a question and he would repeat the question to give himself time to think up something. The times were off in his story.. Thought he said the bar closed at 12.. he didn’t know the guys last name..one minute he didn’t know his phone number or addy, later he did when it was handy.. Him and his father could make up conversations.. He is the one who called Greta.. obviously he is trying to get out what everyone knows.. they were the last ones seen with Natalee for a reason. FBI Investigating Email That Could Land Cindy In Jail
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 – updated: 6:07 pm EST November 25, 2008
ORANGE COUNTY, fla. –
The FBI is investigating an email, obtained only by Eyewitness News, and legal experts say what’s in it could land Cindy Anthony in a jail cell for obstructing justice.
If the FBI finds the email is legit, it could prove Cindy was deliberately hiding evidence from detectives and, while Eyewitness News investigates the possible cover-up, the state wants the Anthony family to shut up.
When Eyewitness News obtained an email from Larry Garrison, it was handed over to the FBI because of the explosive evidence inside. The email says Cindy gave investigators the wrong hairbrush when they asked for Caylee’s brush in late July to compare DNA from her hair to the hair they found in Casey’s trunk, where it smelled of death.
Eyewitness News told the FBI about it and now they’re investigating whether Cindy has tried to sabotage the investigation.
Cindy Anthony tries to give the appearance that she’s cooperating with investigators, but Eyewitness News has learned she and her husband George have been stalling for weeks to answer their follow-up questions in the investigation.
Then Tuesday, a controversial email surfaced. It appears that the Anthonys’ former spokesman, Larry Garrison, says he confronted Cindy by email about why she gave Casey’s hairbrush, instead of Caylee’s hairbrush, to investigators who wanted a DNA sample.
Garrison said Cindy’s emailed response was: “I never lied. I just never went to my bathroom to get the hairbrush that I used only for Caylee.”
Eyewitness News passed the email along to FBI Special Agent Nick Savage, who told Eyewitness News Tuesday: “The appropriate weight will be given to this like all other information received. Law enforcement will address this matter as it relates to the investigation.”
Eyewitness News legal analyst Bill Scheaffer told Eyewitness News the obstruction of justice statute could apply.
“If she knowingly gave the investigators the wrong hairbrush, then I think there’s enough elasticity in this statute that one could bring a charge of obstructing justice,” Schaeffer said.
It is unlikely the Anthonys would be charged since they lost their granddaughter, but the issues could affect their credibility if they try to defend Casey in court.
So is this “obstructing justice?” Eyewitness News looked up the legal definition: “An attempt to interfere with the administration of the courts, the judicial system or law enforcement officers, including threatening witnesses, improper conversations with jurors, hiding evidence, or interfering with an arrest. Such activity is a crime.”

I think that it’s juvenile to throw invective at Greta von Susteren … and positively sickening to see some people (probably the Aruban contingent) doing this to Beth, Dave, and/or Natalee Holloway. We are here to discuss what happened to Natalee, who is responsible, and why Aruba has decided to cover up this case for nearly three and a half years?
What? You don’t think there’s a cover-up? In that case, you must look at the Aruban government and law enforcement as less competent and intelligent than the average cockroach … which is not hard to believe. But most of us are convinced that forces are at work to protect certain individuals.
Some of us have, for the last year and more, been writing to officials and appearing at tourism events to urge people not to go to Aruba. We don’t do this just when a story breaks; we have been doing this regularly. I hope that anyone sincerely concerned at the prospect of this American family having to fight a foreign government for basic justice, in the face of inconceivable indifference from our own government (which some of us think exists basically to help Americans) will share our beliefs.

You say a boycott effort cannot work? In February, Nelson Oduber said on Nova TV of the Netherlands that Aruba had “already” lost tens of millions of dollars in tourist revenue because of the Natalee Holloway case and the ensuing boycott. We know that Aruba was concerned enough about the boycott threat that it, in turn, threatened Beth and Dave that it would close off the investigation unless they kept quiet about a boycott.
(Later, of course, Aruba said it didn’t even control the investigation … but we know what to expect from them, the same that we have seen since May 30, 2005.)
You say a boycott might hurt innocent Arubans? Both PvdScum and JvdScum have said that they don’t care if Aruba is boycotted or not … but we, the American people, should, in the face of blatant injustice? Not in my book.
The simplest thing you can do: don’t go to Aruba. Even better: don’t go there, and let them know why not. Best of all: don’t go there, let them know why not, and help spread the word.
We are determined that we will continue to seek answers in Natalee’s case, and not only when the media spotlight is switched on for a time.

Peter says they started taping for the last show from beginning November a few months before… So that could be juli or august. If that is true, then he gained weight very quickly since the Greta interview. To my idea: Peter suggests the Greta interview is older.
I would guess the Greta interview is from some weeks after he got into Thailand (he looks still pale and without a tan and not too much Thai food in his belly).
Well, I am now watching the footage from yesterday. The telephone call he pretends he had with his father. And they need police officers to know that he is having a talk with himself pretending to be his father?

I don’t think that if there were any possibility that this is a hoax that Greta would bring Beth all the way to New York to have her witness the tapes and the information gathered during this investigation. They have alot of respect for one another. Besides, what she said about the tapes, themselves, is that one investigator said that it was authentic and the other wasn’t sure. She has taped interviews with Paulus to refer to in order to get voice matching, if she needs to. I think that she is trying to put pressure on Taco, as well as Paulus, hoping something good will come of it. It’s obvious Mos is not going to do anything to help.
But, I disagree with her about jurisdiction. I believe that if the tapes can be proven to be authentic, along with her interview of Joran; the State Department or F.B.I. could bring Federal charges against Joran and his father. Just as Paulus said in the tape, Human Trafficking is a serious crime….
and, it is!
I went to the Forum and found comments about the time line of this interview and the sting operation that was done by Peter De Vries. It seems like the interview with Greta came before the trafficking operation in Thailand.

I’m not saying that Greta shouldn’t have aired this, but I do think her hype about the latest interview with Joran lacks truthful disclosure. First she doesn’t tell when it was done. I suspect it was done soon after Joran fled to Thailand and was cooked up by Joran to 1) get money 2) get even with those who cut him off (daddy) and 3) to get the heat off his car confessions with Patrick.
My problem with Greta is that she believe Joran in the first interview and she appears to believe him in the second interview – since she’s spending big bucks to try to corroborate his story.
More holes (and there are several) in Joran’s story:
He supposedly taped daddy while Joran was in jail. With what? The cell phone daddy snuck into him? Don’t think Daddy would be that dumb, knowing that his own cell would be under surveillance.
I don’t understand what people expect Hans Mos to investigate here. Yes, he could investigate money transfers from Paulus – but hey they could have done that a loooooong time ago.
There’s no question that Paulus and the Aruban government are complicit with the cover-up of what happened to Natalee. And there’s no question that Joran will keep making up stories to support his poor gambling.

Okay, having read the transcript (I didn’t see the show), I see where Tacopina states that Fox News paid Joran for the interview. Greta vS replies that “you know how these things are done,” evidently referring to the payment. I didn’t see a specific confirmation or denial by her of payment.

And now not only I think the interview is a FAKE, also investigators in Holland (on dutch tv tonight) have concluded it is a FAKE! But you can believe whatever you want. His latest story is full of interesting points, money changing hands being the key.
The question? Is the money being used by PVS to silence people about the VDS family crime, or was there a mysterious white male who just knew that the then 17 year old Joran was the “go to” guy for procuring young blondes in Aruba?
I am persuaded by common sense, physical evidence, timelines, cell phone calls, chicago videos, witness reports and reason. Not Joran’s words.
Natalee was photographed the night of her abduction wearing a very distinctive patterned top. It would appear that that very fabric top washed up on the rocks in Aruba, so long ago, now. I was stunned by that, knowing that the statistical probability of that happening must be astronomical.

Funny, while I don’t believe Joran’s latest piece of fiction, I somehow believe 1)Paulus is involved up to his bald spot 2)that’s Paulus in the Casino tape 3)while Joran may have faked the phone conversation, this indeed is something that Paulus would say to Joran – don’t involve us.
I think Paulus is protecting himself and his “reputation” just as much as he’s protecting his son. I think the crime is eating Joran alive and will continue to do so. Others involved just may have to find him and quiet him – and that’s not beyond the realm of possibilities.
oh yes, I thought Tacopinia’s responses to Greta were quite worthy of a giggle. Remember how he’s told us previously how “wonderful” Joran was? And now even Tacopinia admits he’s a psychopathic liar and a real troubled person. Gee, wonder what Joran would have to be troubled about Tacopinia. Personally I can’t spend the time over at the Forum to read things three or four times over and over and over.
Joran said his father was on skype when the conversation was recorded, i have found it very difficult to even understand family members talking on skype.
Its funny that if we all watched the VT some people miss exactly what was said, ie someone posted that the conversation between Joran and his father took place when Joran was in jail, so how could he record it, IN FACT as Joran told Greta that was when the conversation took place where he told his father what happened, the taped conversation was earlier this year!!

Actually, his latest story sounds pretty good. It ties in a lot of the random stories of that night and is fairly similar to his last story right to where she supposably passed out or died on the beach.
Also, I’m still hanging on to the the stories that NH made 2 calls that night asking for help with one having others in the background speaking in an island dialect. And of course there was an earlier story of a reporter tracking a car in Venezuela
Fabricating a “she OD’d” story is more believable to the ALE and others, than to admit it’s a kidnap occurred.
Aruba would rather have this be an OD and disposal than a kidnapping because it would be less frightening to tourists.
Personally, I am overwhelmed that VDS is so healthy and free. Forget the truth for a minute, this turd has told so many stories and caused so much pain, I cant believe he has not been confronted by people (friends, relatives, friends of friends of friends, etc) and pressured to come clean for once.

You are SO right. Of course all dutch are part of the Joran fanclub. So right on from you! And because they are ALL part of that fanclub, they intentionally fake results. SURE. Why I didn´t see that and even doubted the Greta interview= How could I even THINK that it was taped in April and not much more recently? Because of course Joran just lost his tan and belly in some weeks. And why did I even doubt the voice was not from Joran´s father. It seems so obvious that it is Joran´s father. You could hear so well the accent so authentic that his father has. No way that Joran did that himself. How could I be so stupid to even think that? Eveything that Greta says is SO true. She is always right.

@136, Paul don’t take it personally. When I first visited this blog, I would also get very worked up. The monkeys here only hear what they want to hear and don’t like criticism.
However, in the US as well as in the Netherlands Joran is getting a platform for what he is doing. And that is telling so much lies that no one believes anything he says anymore, even if it is the truth. And then he could pull this “I am a pathological liar” stunt in court.
So far nothing he has done is enough to arrest him again (not in Aruba at least. Thailand perhaps) let alone to get him convicted for anything else than disposing a body.
And noooooo it is not that just because we are Dutch, we are taking sides with Joran. I don’t. I know he has something to do with the dissapearance of Natalee. However, I don’t believe everything I read or see on tv. That’s just common sense.

Partying in Thailand is expensive and what do you do when you’re out of money? You make up an story, call Greta and get paid for an interview. Remember that besides he is a psychopath he is also intelligent and everything he does he thinks through. This whole story doesn’t stroke with the evidence so far and it’s obviously that this story is completely made up.
The most shocking thing is that he speaks very heartless about Natalee and again he makes money out of it. He has absolutely no feelings for anyone then himself.

Second question…I didn’t realize there was other evidence that Natalee was alive and calling from another place later on…interesting. Where are all of these facts listed? I would love to read a chronology. Also, did someone say her top washed up on shore? Even if it did…that would be what I would do if I wanted to pretend she drowned, which may have been the plan for thier first cover up story.
Also…were there many other girls missing from Aruba before Natalee? Is anyone trying to find her? Is anyone trying to recover the other girls taken?
