Natalee Holloway Investigation: Kalpoe Brothers Released … Aruba Prosecutor Hans Mos will Appeal

Chief Aruban Public Prosecutor (OM) Hans Mos has stated that he will appeal the Hans-Mos2decision of the judge that allowed the release of suspects Deepak and Satish Kalpoe in the case of missing teen Natalee Holloway. The judge reviewing the case stated tat there was “serious ‘objections’ against them”, but not enough to keep them in custody. It does really make one wonder just what it does take to actually hold some one in Aruba.

The examining magistrate says that it’s true that the current dossier of the two suspects contains serious ‘objections’ against them, but not enough to keep them longer in custody.  Custody based on the current evidence is not allowed.  This evidence was the wiping out of traces of a crime scene and the spiriting away of a body, said a spokesperson of the OM.

Amigoe, Dec 3, 2007: Brothers Kalpoe are outside again

Chief public prosecutor Hans Mos indicated that the OM will appeal the decision of the examining magistrate to release the brothers Kalpoe from custody.

ORANJESTAD – The two fellow suspects of Joran van der Sloot (20), the brothers Deepak (24) and Satish (21) are again released from custody today.  The Public Prosecutor (OM) has requested an extension of the custody today, but the examining magistrate ruled against it.  The OM has meanwhile announced that she will appeal this decision.

The two brothers remain suspects of voluntary manslaughter or in any case, serious bodily harm that resulted in the death of Natalee Holloway.
Van der Sloot’s mother is according to reports, very happy that the two brothers are outside again, but she doesn’t know what it would mean for her son.  Ten persons were arrested since the disappearance of Holloway, but nobody is officially charged yet.

Chief public prosecutor, Hans Mos finds it striking that the custody of the Kalpoe’s is not extended, while it is based on ‘almost’ the same dossier as that of Van der Sloot.  “Were his objections serious enough to extend his custody? It looks like he has a different role in the case.”

Joran van der Sloot’s custody was extended with eight days early this week.  An extension with 60 days will be considered late next week.  The objection that his lawyer Ariean de Bie has lodged against the restrictions imposed on Van der Sloot, is meanwhile dismissed by the Common Court of the Neth.Antilles and Aruba.  The restrictions were eased a little though since his arrest.  He received a bible and reading matters.  The request to receive visitors, like his mother, brother, a ‘different lawyer’ and friends, was dismissed.  He cannot have contact with other prisoners, he cannot watch TV, he cannot make telephone calls and write letters, and cannot read current reading material, like newspapers and magazines.  He is now allowed to sport under supervision.

In the meantime, the mother of Natalee Holloway, Beth Reynolds (Twitty) has arrived in Aruba.  She and her former husband, Dave Holloway have a meeting with the OM today.  Dave Holloway is also waiting for the arrival of a special investigation-boat to scan the seabed around Aruba again for possible traces of his daughter.  The boat is expected to arrive at the end of next week and allows him to search to a three-kilometer depth.  The former search action only reached a depth of 100 meters.

Well there goes the diminshing Winter Tourist vacation bookings for 2007-08. The Aruba Farce Team has shot themselves in the foot once again. Every news medium in the free world has been following this abortion of an investigation for weeks. The latest insult to Justice has been reported everywhere and people are unnanimously disgusted at the procedings (or lack there of).

Who in their right mind would consider going to a winter vacation destination where tourists are at the mercy of low class scum? Druging, gang raping, murder!!! Just wait until the figures are tallied for “occupancies” this year.

The word BOYCOTT will have now taken on a new meaning. ARUBA has risen to the pinnacle….the top laughing stock country of the world.

GUTS! We need people with GUTS! In spite of the stupid decision by the judge to release the Kalpoops, I am glad that the prosecutor is objecting to the release.

Also glad that Vander Slut is being kept under wraps. LOL, he doesn’t even know that the Kalpoops have been released. What a joke on him. He may cough it up yet, if he even remembers that the truth is. He has told so many lies that it’s hard to keep track of reality.

Who knows what Joran has been told? Beth says in her book that the van der Scums were bragging that Joran was going to be released from jail … and they were doing this some DAYS before the decision was announced, or rather the initial decision was reversed once the crony judge got out of Aruba.

The place is so corrupt, it seems, that we simply cannot believe ANYTHING that we are told.

At least, not where this case is involved.

Anyone know if the Kalpoes trotted over to the van der Sloot compound? I wonder if they’re laying low … or maybe they went straight to Carlos ‘n’ Charlies.

    6. katablog on December 3rd, 2007 1:28 pm

This is IMHO actually some good news. Of course we’d rather have the Kalpoes in prison but hearing that they have evidence of them cleaning a crime scene and hiding a body is at least something. It’s apparently also why the prosecutor says they know Natalee is dead.

This should be enough to really smarten up those Kalpoe brothers. We have a crime scene. We have a body being moved. Now think about it boys. IF Joran didn’t kill Natalee – YOU may just end up with that one your heads too. Better cough up Joran while you can because Papa Sloot and Joe Tacopina and probably working overtime to hang you with everything.

So here’s the deal Satish and Deepak: 3 years for cleaning up a crime scene and disposing (or helping to dispose) of a body or 15+ years for killing Natalee.

    7. Miss-Underestimated on December 3rd, 2007 1:37 pm

So this all revolves around finding Natalee’s body.

    8. Richard on December 3rd, 2007 1:37 pm

By the way, a friend of mine who knows such things says that in the now-famous photo at the head of this thread, the three stooges were making unmistakable gang signs. The photo has been cropped, so we can’t see them here.

And the gang was “The Pimps” ….

It says in the National Enquirer that an undercover cop became a buddy to Joran in Holland for 3 months and went to school with him. Joran in a drunken state let it slip. It also said there are phone taps. Would like to hear more about that but then again we know these magazines will publish just about anything to attract readers.

Oh my, what a dilemma! Hopefully the meeting with Beth and Dave will give the prosecutor and the interrogators the information they need to move forward. I’m sure Natalee,s family had plenty to say, it was an opportunity for them that they never had before.

Watched you tube, interview provided by our dear friend Carpe…what didn’t Kimberly ask Anita to explain Joran’s statement, I know and I will tell you someday, but not now. Also, previously Anita did the description of Nat’s underwear because Beth said Nat was a virgin. That was a direct attack on Beth because Anita cannot say that about her son. But it also tells us that Joran had sex with Natalee, a helpless victim in and out of an unconscious state, that would be called RAPE.

Joran, no Mom I didn’t do anything wrong…and later see Mommy I’m reading the Bible. I’m such a good boy. In his eyes he didn’t do anything wrong it was all the victim’s fault. I guess the 20 times before was the victim’s fault too.

Art Wood says he turned over information in the past and the ALE did nothing about it. Also he mentions Koen Gottenbos has something to do with the case. Koen and Freddy both were at Joran’s apartment that night.

    10. brie on December 3rd, 2007 1:53 pm

If Hans can’t get any results from the Aruban authorities then call in our FBI. They were more than willing to help but Aruba wouldn’t let us.

And still…why were the boys at the police station that morning. Was it because the chaperon reported Natalee missing and last seen with those 3 thugs. So there you had them, anyone start looking for evidence, checking for DNA, doing any type of investigating…..NOPE! That should of been done then and there…what is it…too dumb to figure it out or to sly to cover it up. Both!

    11. Susan on December 3rd, 2007 2:00 pm

The judge who released the Alpoe (arf, arf) brothers is a bloody DISGRACE to all judicial systems around the world and to humanity!! OFF WITH HIS HEAD, I SAY…

What part of “This evidence was the wiping out of traces of a crime scene and the spiriting away of a body” does the dipshit not understand?

I still think a full scale invasion of the poverty stricken, drug infested, third world isle of Aruba is a great idea :-) Bob needs to activate the National Guard, but I’m sure that wouldn’t go over very well.

    12. Richard on December 3rd, 2007 2:02 pm

On an earlier thread, I posted some info about a Web ‘candle-lighting’ event to be held by The Compassionate Friends. Type in that name, and you will see their Web site.

I just took a look, and apparently any remarks, etc., can be made only on Dec. 9. So if anyone is interested in making a tribute to Natalee, and/or other persons, I guess it has to be done on that day.

    13. Richard on December 3rd, 2007 2:06 pm

Susan … whatever the merits of your plan, it would be infinitely wonderful if the sorry bunch of clowns that are running for the presidency, OR the incumbent in the White House, OR the people who live well in the Senate, House, and gubernatorial seats …

would even COMMENT on the travesty in Aruba.

Then again, what do they care about an American citizen?

This is at the heart of this whole case: an American family is battling with a corrupt foreign government to find out what happened to their daughter, and who is responsible.

Said foreign government, or at least elements of it, has been conducting a cover-up since day one.

And American tourism provides 80% of the economy of said foreign government, making it VERY VULNERABLE to pressure from Uncle Sam.

But no pressure is being used. Two years ago, three of our fifty governors vowed to call for a tourism boycott of Aruba at the National Governor’s Conference. We heard nothing about their “efforts” after the conference.

One of those three governors, Mike Huckabee, is seeking the presidency. I have written to him time and again asking that he speak up.

No reply. No comments. No action.

    14. Richard on December 3rd, 2007 2:14 pm

Well, folks, never give up … there IS good news!

Click on that Amigoe article at the head of this thread: it says, in an article farther down the page, that nearly one of four houses in Aruba are breeding places for the mosquito responsible for the dengue plague.

Gee, think our tourist offices will spread that word? Think they might advise people not to go there, due to natural and human dangers?

I doubt it … but that’s all that Aruba needs to promote its “image” … come here, and if the people don’t get you, the mosquitoes will.

Another article in that “Amigoe” says that the van der Sloots’ lawyer’s appeal against the conditions of Joran’s detention has been dismissed, though they have been eased a bit: he now is allowed a Bible. Happy reading, scumbag.

And also, this says that the U.S. government is warning Americans who live in Curacao, or who are going there, about ‘possible unrest’ from demonstrations against something.

Too bad that our own government won’t warn tourists when Americans go missing….

VS warn tourists for ‘possible unrest’

WILLEMSTAD – American citizens in Curacao or those that are planning to travel to the island are warned by their government for ‘possible unrest’ during a protest-demonstration in the streets of Otrobanda this Sunday. Even though the idea is that tomorrow’s manifestation, organized by the opposition parties, goes peacefully, Americans are warned that the manifestation can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence.

The above appears from a travel advice of the United States dated November 30, 2007 that the Amigoe has. American residents are therefore advised to avoid the area where the manifestation takes place and be alert. The communiqué is quite accurate with the route of the protest march and notifies that travelers should know that the traffic to and from this area can be disturbed.

    15. Richard on December 3rd, 2007 2:15 pm

Finally, the article on Joran also says: “He is allowed to sport under supervision.”

What THIS means is anyone’s guess.

    16. Susan on December 3rd, 2007 2:39 pm

Richard, Does it mean Urine is being supervised when he goes to the potty? I have another guess, but I’ll keep it to myself coz it’s too gross…lmao. I’m hoping no newspapers, magazines, television and visitors will make him fess up once and for all :-)

On the subject of our government, I know our politicians have shown very little and/or no interest in Natalee’s disappearance and that is simply a crying shame :-( If it were their loved one, we can damn sure bet they’d be involved in a heart beat. I know it’s not fair, but it’s an unfortunate fact of life. You’d think with all of the American dollars that are wasted on that cesspool (Aruba), our government officials would speak up…

    17. brie on December 3rd, 2007 2:42 pm

…Richard…My guess would be he is allowed some form of exercise activity. I don’t know….give him a ball and some jacks…

Of course, I never quite knew what a delicious sporter meant either….

    18. Dave on December 3rd, 2007 2:42 pm

Does it mean he can play the sport but dads gotta be there?

What does anyone expect from Aruba? A Dutch judge comes from Curacao – a crony of Joran’s father and what other outcome could be expected.

Aruba does not value human life! Perfect example – Nelson Oduber said some time ago that he could not believe all the concern over one girl. That sums it up. Women especially are a commodity in Aruba – there is always another one.

Aruba dresses itself up real pretty but at the core it is truly a third world country but without any morals.

    23. brie on December 3rd, 2007 3:38 pm

Custody based on current evidence is not allowed. The prosecutor has just that… but the judge calls it serious objections…only related to past documents. What kind of sense does any of that make?

The new evidence is removing traces of a crime scene and the spiriting away of a body. But that is only for a period of 3 years. And currently it cannot be used to hold the Kalpoes. Well, they didn’t cover-up and dispose of a body, if they didn’t commit the crime. Granted they had help but those 3 did the crime.

And I wonder about Koen, is he still peeing in his pants…I would think by now he’s got the you know whats!

    24. Vicki on December 3rd, 2007 3:46 pm

#17- Brie- his mother referring him to a delicious sporter in my mind is rather perverted…maybe she licks him…or vice versa…either way its sick…

They, including the new prosecutor, are playing us for dummies. He is going to drop this case on Dec. 31st as a dead or cold case without any charges being brought which is why he left himself an out; an out he already knows he will use.

      IT’S OVER and it’s a crying shame!

    28. martini on December 3rd, 2007 4:01 pm

Where is Godfried van Cromvoirt (pal of the son of police chief Gerold Dompig)? Where is the T-shirt found on the beach with the VCB logo?
Actually where is all the evidence that was collected in last two + years? How can so many keep quiet and not want to come clean?
How can any of them go to sleep at night?

    29. brie on December 3rd, 2007 4:20 pm

#24-Vicki-I know…it really sounds gross…I have never heard of anything athletic referred to as being delicious. Delicious, appealing to one of body senses especially of taste and smell. Maybe he wears perfume along with the make-up and lipstick and gives her fat kisses. Ouuuuuuuuuuuu! Sicko~~~

    30. Bob on December 3rd, 2007 4:29 pm

Well boys and girls, while on the surface it appears that ‘nothing’ is happening and the old ‘Aruba shuffle’ was once again played during those decision making weeks (Do I book a winter vacation in Aruba? Well maybe, it looks like tourists are about to finally get justice”. Not.)

I think all this new evidence baloney was an economic ploy to fool the unsuspecting into effecting a rise in sorely needed tourism. Once the reservation bookings are made (at the highest rates), the 12/31 ‘no case’ deadline will go into effect. Aruba gets a bounce, no justice for Natalee is rendered, and young unsuspecting female tourists once again become fair game for the local rapist sand pigs. There is only one way to counter this……….BOYCOTT.

    31. Vicki on December 3rd, 2007 4:36 pm

Hey guys, its not over till the FAT lady sings…Justice will be served. I can feel it in my soul.

    32. James on December 3rd, 2007 4:37 pm

It appears to me from what’s been released long ago that DaddySloot told them “no body, no case”. Also that DaddySloot would not let the police search his home or the police didn’t even try to search the judge’s home. Also that one of the Kalpoe’s bleached his car and washed it late at night. One more point=the Sloot’s recarpeted their home, replaced all the furniture. If these things are true they clearly prove these little boys & 1adult are guilty of the murder of Natalee. I feel terrible for the parents of Natalee who keep getting the roller coaster ride about the entire situation. Joe Tacapena, attorney for little boy Sloot, acts like he has not one damn ounce of compassion for Natalee. What if it was his daughter? I pray , with all my heart, that the EquaSearch & all other search resources find something incriminating to get these boys.

Bottom line………had the Kalpoe’s & the Sloot’s not been in Aruba that night…..Natalee would be here today enjoying her college pursuits.

GOD have mercy. Please help these searchers find something of Natalee!

    33. brie on December 3rd, 2007 4:44 pm

#24-Vicki-but then again I guess perfume would be delightful and not delicious, so what makes him smell good, maybe the reek of sex. Sick!

      Glad he is appealing this…

As for Beth being questioned, that was known ahead of time I thought. Didn’t someone mention that on Dana’s show ahead of time? I don’t think it’s a bad thing. One thing for sure, she won’t change her stories 180 degrees every other day and take the fifth and refuse to talk. Maybe they wanted to ask her about the things she wrote about in her book. Such as Deepak saying cops let him and the Sloots out at Joran’s house that night after the trip to Holiday Inn etc..and Paulus took him and Joran into Joran’s bedroom and talked to them. IMO to coach them some more and clap for their performance of framing the 2 guards. Afterwards, Deepak says he drove home and talks about being home all day and then going to work, yet Beth and Jug went to the police station to give their statement that morning and Deepak’s car was parked behind the police station.

Every time someone points out a lie they’ve been caught in on the internet, they come out with a new story to perfect the old one and when they don’t have a good explanation for the new ones they’ve been caught in, they take the fifth or say I’m not talking to them anymore. It’s so blatantly obvious.

Nurturer 63: post from Dr. Hodges book. Thank you for posting but my opinion of what Dr. Hodges has said happened to Natalee is something that happened in his dreams, so say it politely. How he can describe what has happened from that email is beyond me? He started from point A and ended with somewhere around point R and then filled in the blanks. These points I feel are nothing but Dr Hodges fantasies. “Joran told Natalee to strip”. “She refused so he took off her clothes, carefully as not to rip them”. “Then Deepak put a blanket in the back seat and Joran raped Natalee first”. “Then Satish and Natalee died during the rape from Deepak”. Has anyone seen what the back of a Honda Civic looks like. Joran is over six feet tall; hell the back doors don’t even open all the way.
I’m sorry Dr Hodges; I simply cannot buy that scenario. Peyton Place was a better story.
However I will say this much; if that is what/where it happened then there were others on that deserted road waiting for Natalee to show up. It had to be the road where Deepak says he relieved himself and threw away his drink.
Why he carried a yard that far is beyond me.
If I buy into this then I say Natalee was taken and attacked in two locations. The second being the Van der Sloots.
If we say that the three and only the three were involved why were all the other arrests, statements and declarations needed?
      Especially Koen????

Sorry Judy if you have a complaint see Joran he posted it.

Does anyone know Hans Mos’ credentials?
By the way the judges in the Netherlands Antilles, including Aruba have to pass a six year judgeship course; after which they are appointed by none other than the Queen. Noone but the Queen can remove them once appointed.

      Avoid Aruba like the plague.
Aruba is hazarduous to your health.
Isn’t meningitis contagious? Remember the policeman last year that died from it.
It is interesting that there was no obituary. There was no investigation or follow up as to how it was contracted. I wonder who diagnosed the illness? If it was the coroner??????
      I would want to stay away from Aruba just for the health problems that go unchecked;
such as dengue, meningitis, being crusifried, loosing my head in a cemetery, dying in my sleep with my hands tied behind my back with a gag on my mouth and all the heart attacks in containers locked from the outside. Aruba sure is not a healthy place to visit.

    41. brie on December 3rd, 2007 6:35 pm

#34..Hey Carpe, I got what your saying.

By the way, a very special Thank You expressed to you for all that you have done. The videos have all been great…informative of course, and beyond that gave us a sense of humor…which we all need. Keep ‘em comin’!

I also think Richard has given us much detailed information and has dedicated his time along with many others…I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by mentioning only mentioning a few names. A very special Thank You to all of you that have worked hard and continue to want Justice for Natalee. I have grown to know that I am proud of most of the people I have had the honor of knowing on Scared Monkeys. Least of all not to mention Scared Monkeys who gives the updated information and strives for justice dedicated to Natalee. She’s has been adopted by loving American friends. What a bond we have and more power to us!

Remember, never, never, never, never, never give in!!!!

I’ve been giving Hans Mos the benefit of the doubt so far. One thing he said, that kind of made me worry, was when he said he wasn’t doing the questioning, a female who works there in the prosecution was? He also said the old cops were still involved since it was them who was on this and knew the info.

I was hoping JQK would speak out since they are back. Had enough of Tacoitis the past week. He has never met a camera he didn’t like. Every show he jumps in and takes over and don’t let anyone else talk. Throws out anything and everything and hopes something sticks.

I’m thankful Hans Mos is appealing ~ now, imagine what he’s up against?

Who’s the judge on board on this case? Does he/she have ties with PVDS?

If the Queen of the Netherlands appoints the judges, would it be necessary to have a writing campaign to her for help? Will the Queen intercept on Natalee’s family’s behalf if this is found out? Will Hans Mo’s look into this??… and expose it for all it’s worth (say there are ties to these judges and Joran’s family/Kapole’s?)…

I feel for Hans Mos ~ he must be very, very frustrated ~ don’t give up Hans! We’re all praying for justice… unfortunately, sometimes it “Just is” there is no justice ~ These are the questions I’d like answered ~

      anyone know the answers?

Taco is being paid by the criminal Posner…a friend of Paulus…Paulus doesn’t have the money..but he arranged for his ownership of the Holiday Inn…another BIG piece of corruption in Aruba……

For the Dutch, you know the next step is the free zone and he wants your oil refinery…and he wants socialism…and he wants your island.

      K-Swiss shoes are tracked easily…
If i were a customer in Florida and were looking for a size 14 K-Swiss shoe, the company could tell me where all there size 14 shoes were shipped and where I could locate a pair. Just a thought.

If anyone has the address of the Netherlands Antilles Common Court of Justice, maybe the name of the Chief Justice, please post it. I’ve looked at the old address lists and I’ve googled and can’t find it. I have some questions for them. Like why friends of the Sloots were allowed to handle this case.

As for Beth’s “interrogation”, let them look at all avenues. Let them rule out Jug and the MB kids. Remember, however, that some of the questions might be something like:
“How long did Dennis Jacobs leave you sitting before taking your statement?”
Or “What part of your statement was changed by ALE when presented to you in Dutch?”
Another good one would be “What did you see on Dennis Jacobs’ desk when you were giving your statement?”
How about “What did Anita tell you and Greta about Natalee and Joran the day you met with her in her home?”
There are so many things they could ask her that have more to do with the investigation and the handling thereof than with Jug’s business or his relationship with Natalee or blue-eyed phantoms.

    48. LilPuma on December 3rd, 2007 8:30 pm

I think the Dutch investigators and Hans Mos are doing all the can to solve this case. They are NOT the ones who let the perps walk for 10 days, changed search warrants, or failed to follow up on leads or statements made by the “scared young boys” who raped and killed Natalee Holloway. They may have more evidence now but want to pressure the boys to give them more information. I doubt they expect a confession, but the more info they get from J2K and others, the better their chances of finding witnesses or evidence. They came in 18 months after the Sloots’ friends tried to cover all their tracks. Unfortunately, there are more involved than J2K, which is why the body wasn’t found. Ben Franklin: 3 can keep a secret if 2 of them are dead. And we’ve got more than 3 covering for these Arubascumbags. I don’t know if this Dutch contingent can get justice in this case, but I don’t think they should be condemned for the actions of the Sloots’s friends.

I think I’ve heard that there can be no lie detectors test conducted in Aruba…you know…”their law” again…however, I started thinking, maybe it’s too high tech for them and possibly too expensive. Hooking these three perps + to a lie detector test would sure blow the thing up.

    53. Patti on December 3rd, 2007 9:48 pm

      Lil Puma:

There’s no doubt in my mind that Anita should be arrested. How does a she know so much about a person she (supposedly) never met… down to the color of her underware? And all that talk about how she wishes that she would have told Natalee to go home? I don’t think she would have asked twice… Natalee would have been outta there in a New York second. But I suspect that Anita did see and speak to Natalee during that week before the incident at the rocks.

Thing is: The charges all have to do with the disposal of a corpse. Is Aruba going to admit how Natalee died and charge the three with disposing of her body? There has to be a reason why they are by-passing the details of her death.

    54. waterboy (Jerry) on December 3rd, 2007 10:38 pm

In all sincerity, Hans Mos seems like a straight arrow to me. He is doing what any good prosecutor would do.

What do we seem to know that he does not? For one, evidence has been destroyed, lost, neglected, hidden, and conveniently sanitized, or at least that’s my opinion; and I’m sure that at least some of you would agree.

I’m afraid our Hans is a Boy Scout (me too) . The problem with Boy Scouts is they look at the world like they are at the National Jamboree, or scout camp, where every one obeys and lives by the Scout Law and Scout Oath.

Problem? Problem is Hans is the only Boy Scout on the island. I would liken the rest to the characters in the show Deliverance with Burt Reynolds. That being said, I’ll add the phrase “You never know who might be coveting your behind.”

@8 – Take a real good look at that pic at the top of this thread. Is that Joran’s DARK hand on one of the Kalpoe bro’s shoulders? Yes, the sleeve is blue, but look at Joran’s face coloring – could that really be HIS HAND? AND look at that OTHER hand on the other Kalpoe bro’s shoulder. (Sorry, I can only tell the Kalpoe’s apart when one of them is holding that chicken bone)…
SM: No it’s not Joran’s hand, it’s Freddys hand..Freddy is to the right of Deepak and is cut out of the photo (klaasend)

    56. waterboy (Jerry) on December 3rd, 2007 10:53 pm

“Coveting your behind.” That one totally lost my wife. She says she doesn’t get it at all. She ask if that was in reference to Natalee.

It’s not at all. I’m just saying, like in the show Deliverance, you could be looking right at someone who intends you harm and not know it.

It’s an observation about the dark side of people, the side they keep hidden. There seems to be a prevailing dark side to Aruba, a side they keep hidden or perhaps chained in the basement.

They went for a romantic stroll on the moon lit beach, he in a drunken panic, her in a drugged out, passed out state. She fell and hit her head on ‘the floor’ (on the floor of the car perhaps as opposed to ‘the ground’?)He carried her in his arms, he took off his shoes and they both went into the water – not for a swim, they just “went into the water” so he could wash off her DNA from him, and his DNA from her. Was this water the ocean water by the sandy hotel strip, or by the lighthouse, or by the shark feeding area, or some murky pond water? Did ‘going into the water’ cause her to drown? He left her somewhere to ‘sleep’ – he says on the beach which is near the water, but MARY NEVER HEARD THE BOUY TOLL…she never woke up from where ever he left her. He walked home barefoot. Either his shoes got stuck in the sludgy, murky waters, or they were used with his brown square holed belt together with the missing trap…How could such evil live inside of him.

      SATISH – 6/11/2005 STATEMENT
“…When I woke up I asked my brother if he knew how Joran had made it to his house. My brother told me that he had been called during the night hours by Joran. My brother told me that when he was talking to Joran, he could hear that Joran was breathing heavily. My brother told me that had asked Joran what he was doing at the time. Joran had told my brother that he was at that time walking home towards his house. My brother told me that he had asked Joran about the girl and that Joran had told him that he had left the girl at the beach. According to my brother Joran had told him that he had taken off his shoes and that he and the girl had gone into the water. Joran had then told my brother that after that he and the girl had gotten out of the water and that the girl had fallen asleep on the beach (DID HE DROWN HER IN THE WATER?). Joran told my brother that he had then tried to wake up the girl but that she had not awakened. Joran told my brother that he had looked to find his shoes but that he couldn’t find them. Joran told my brother that he had left the girl on the beach and that he had walked home barefoot…”

I just bought Beth’s “Loving Natalee” book and cannot put it down except to write to Scared Monkeys…I have about twenty pages left to read…

I cried when reading about the agonizing pain Beth had to endure… and was totally appauled at some of the inside information she shared on how Jacobs treated her. What a lowlife evil man he is.

I hope Deekpak and Satish’s mother reads this book. She claims to have a deep faith in God. If she did she would be willing to hang her two sons out to dry and make them confess their sins, instead of covering up for them.

Everyone should buy this book it is very insightful and I learned things I did not already know about this case. It is absolutely appauling how perverted the Aruba justice system operates and I am convinced even more now that the drug cartel runs the island of Aruba and there is no such thing as right or wrong in their eyes, only evil prevails.

People are afraid to talk because they might end up with their body parts all chopped up and dumped.

      Aruba satans playground.

The prosecutor said “this” (whatever “this” is) failed because of the family? And the media?

Pray tell, Mr. Mos, who conducts law enforcement on Aruba (well, we know the answer: if anyone does, it’s the casinos, the drug dealers, and the Mafia)? Are you saying that Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway determine what Aruba does?

Why not blame me for organizing the Boston ‘boycott Aruba’ demonstration, thereby derailing the investigation? It makes fully as much sense as what is quoted above.

Let’s hope that the Dutch have something on tap for tomorrow’s hearing. If not … well ….

      Sharon Chicago,

I also just finished reading Beth’s book. Natalee’s poems were the best part. What Beth went through and continues to endure is hard to fathom. The book does a good job of bringing everything together in a timeline, and it leaves no doubt about coruption, lies and cover-up. Cover-up to the extreme!!!!! Jill should read it.

    77. Guest on December 4th, 2007 1:40 am

      Nope, it’s not over..

They know what they did that night. ALL OF ‘EM.

They drugged her. They raped her. But they didn’t plan on her body not being able to take the drugs and alcohol that night.

There are some who are guilty of drugs and rape. And a few others who are guilty of ‘no body, no crime’.

Sad part is that this wormhole of evil will literally eat them inside and out – the cancer will grow silently – their silence will eat at them every day they think they are free, but they are not.

Kalpoe bros – so you are out of prison, ja? WE KNOW WHAT WENT ON INSIDE YOUR NOISY CAR. You had to put that music up louder and louder and louder didn’t you. I hope you dream of that night for the rest of your lives, until it eats away at your souls. You killed the soul of your island. All arrests and interrogations have been conducted for our benefit only. To appease us, the potential tourist. And this last strategy is no different.

Perhaps I’m wrong, but I think this has the similarities (and differences) of all missing person’s cases, such as the Scott Peterson case, for example. That case didn’t build its momentum until Lacy Peterson’s body was discovered.

Peterson was under suspicion for his wife’s disappearance, as these three scum have been for Natalee’s disappearance. However, things didn’t really start to happen until Lacy’s body was discovered.

I don’t think this case will move forward until they discover Natalee’s body.

My impression is that people much more closely tied to the case than us realize that also. And yes, finding Natalee’s body may bring closure to her family, but it will also provide badly needed evidence. At the very, very least, finding Natalee’s body in the ocean will prove once and for all, that she did not ‘run away’. It will prove that she was put there.

Some might say, “Well, maybe she swam out there after our fair-haired boy Joran left her alone on the beach. All depressed and what-not.”

To that, I’m sure we will be able retort:

“And did she lock herself in the crab cage too?”

      Joran was recorded as saying:

“I will laugh if they find the girl alive.”

Many feel that Joran meant that he would be happy if they find Natalee (the girl) alive. I don’t read what he said like that at all. What I believe Joran meant was this:

IT’LL BE A JOKE (and I will laugh) IF THEY EVER SAY (during interrogation) THAT THEY FOUND THE GIRL.”

      Slight difference.

And if they do FIND THE GIRL, we will all see a change in demeanor not just in the three suspects, but in the utterly incompetent legal authorities (if we can call them that) on Aruba. But for now, this so-called investigation is a sham.

Just viewing the John Q. Kelly interview from last night, I could see that the guy was visibly upset. Incompetent, was the word he used to describe the ENTIRE investigation. I assume that includes Mr. Mos., who Kelly states, brings less passion to the case than Janssen. Not a glowing recommendation. Which would mean that the guy barely has a pulse. Since Jansen barely had a presence.

And as true to form, according to Kelly, Mos blames Natalee’s family for the Kalpoes’ release. I think it’s safe to say that you could probably find a bong in the prosecutor’s office somewhere. And you wouldn’t even have to look that hard.

They flew down there with hopes of finding their answers provided by the prosecutor. Who in turn lied. He has nothing new…but said so…deceiving and incompetent. That was vicious! Pay backs are HELL!

If any American travels to this island on vacation they will be known as a Benedict Arnold. You would only be going for your own selfish pleasure. And supporting the drug lords who control the island.

Chavez wants the island and maybe already has it. He wants access to the free zone and the oil refinery. And Rudy Croes will help him get it.

If you would travel to Aruba, you’d travel to Cuba, Colombia and Venezuela and watch the terrorists in action.

We the people..our gov’t is suppose to represent us..apparently we have not made enough noise…Aruba is unsafe and unhealthy…we do not want dengue coming here. The geographical spread of that disease is similar to Malaria… passports to Aruba….who wants to vomit blood!

The open garbage and cesspools…off the beaten track for tourists…they never see it!

I actually believe JILL- to a point. I honestly don’t think J2k know what ultimately happened to Natalee- but Shango said they’re not angels. And I believe that ‘Mary never heard the bell toll’ means she was never near a beach as Joran claims. The perps DO know who they delivered Natalee to, just not what those third parties did. I found it interesting that Mos remarked that the suspects had implicated third parties…I wonder what our Boy Scout meant by that?

I’m pretty sure Joran with a Bible is a lie though- he’d burst into flames if a Bible ever touched him! Still- I know at least one very goodhearted lady who prays for J2k anyway.

The prosecutor is no match for the drug lords..what power does the Queen have…obviously none!

Treating your animals the way you do and the stray starving dogs…heartless and cruel! Aruba is a complete cover-up of what actually happens there….I do not want to see anymore publicity on vacationing in Aruba…travel agents you need to get a new agenda…do not send our American’s there. And you damn know why!

    101. brie on December 4th, 2007 12:13 pm

I don’t care about Shango and Simian…if they truly knew what happened…then tell us..Jokes and Riddles…toying with the emotions of caring people….a simplicity of knowledge…whoever you are I think it’s just another act of cruely…

    102. Sharon Chicago on December 4th, 2007 12:16 pm

Martini, I would not invest in your dream…

Joran would not sell Natalie to drug lord knowing that the world in Aruba saw him with her in Kalpoe’s car…. the money would not be worth going to jail for possibly murder charges… He probably was happy with his lifestyle…apartment behind parents house to rape girls, enough booze to get high at the casinos and Charleys…cash for gambling…

He knew he was going to College soon…no I don’t think he sold Natalee..does not add up.

    103. Sharon Chicago on December 4th, 2007 12:25 pm

Greta, Greta, Great, What island are you on??? Leaning towards believing the pervert Joran’s story….

Tell me Greta which version do you believe?

You have the inside story on Joran how he constantly had outbursts/anger issues…how he
was seeing a shrink because of his uncontrolled emotions… and you tend to think he is innocent…the last one seen with Natalee who said he sexually touched her as she was coming in and out of conciousness….

All of the attorneys on Greta’s show last night were bashinig Aruba and were very upset…and then Greta slides in her defense comment about Joran…

Maybe its time you took a vacation to Aruba Greta where every day is paradise…don’t forget to take your rose color glasses with you…

And please keep your comments about Joran to yourself instead of sharing them on Fox news since you can never back up “why” you tend to think he is innocent.

MY only hope is that the water search is successful!

We, the American’s are our only hope..even if we find Natalee..the courts will say not enough evidence….but at the very least they can bury their child….I HATE ARUBA! AND SHOULD EVERY AMERICAN!

51 Carol. :-) The questions I’m asking point at the corruptions as well as the crime. Wasn’t it Kennedy who said “Who watches the watchers?” If this sham had occurred in the U.S., the investigators would be under investigation.

As for solving this, anyone who’s watched Law & Order for a season could do a better job than ALE in June ’05. Like Furman said, no matter what your laws, the way you go about investigating is the same. Legal procedures may differ, but the investigation is the same.

JILL: On the basis of their own words as well as the way the case was handled by friends of Paulus Van der Sloot, many of us believe they are guilty. You may have typed that in one of the cannabis cafes in Amsterdam, but if you look at this case closely, you’ll see that J2K harmed Natalee in some way and someone on the island disposed of her body so there would be “no case”. Are you dating Joran? If so, get out now. He cheats on his girlfriends (he admits this), he lies because it’s easier (he admits this), he killed his own dog, hurt his own brother in a fit of anger . . . get out now.

      #96 1006906,

You bring up an interesting point about Loco Stef, or other girlfriends for that matter. These perps did this ’20X before’ and nothing like this ever happened. Think they are ticked off? Heck yeah!

And I recall seeing a pic early on of Deepaks car with Natalee inside, as it was taken from the rear view window of another car in front of Deepaks. And the caption was ‘bitch’ or something like that. I think a girl would write ‘bitch’ – doesn’t sound like something I’d say about a blonde in a car w/3 guys…

      #98 Dan in Tx,

Nice to see you again! Been a while since I hopped onto your site and read what the Greywhisper wrote to you (and the Whispers were performing at the 2005 Aruba soul beach music festival…)

So you are still standing by your theory that they had their way w/her, then sold her off to either pay off a debt or to just get $ like they did 20X before…interesting. So if she didn’t hear the buoy toll, then in my opinion she got off that island via a small plane.

      #102 Sharon Chicago,
Maybe he didn’t sell her but paid to have her removed off the island.

    110. Guest on December 4th, 2007 10:22 pm

Yoo hoo – Jilly – are ya comin’ out to tell us more?

    111. Richard on December 4th, 2007 10:53 pm

I still think it’s not impossible that Natalee was handed over to a drug lord, or one of his emissaries, who promised to remove her from the island. It wasn’t premeditated trafficking, in my belief, but Natalee awoke before she was supposed to, while she was being filmed, or in some such awkward circumstance for her assailants.

What then? She wasn’t going to cower before these scum as the Aruban girls seem to have; Paulus would take one look and know that she couldn’t be cowed. And wouldn’t keep quiet.

      So what do they do?

Paulus has contacts in Venezuela, and perhaps Colombia … I have always suspected that he is in the pay of the drug lords (who more would they want than an attorney who is ready to become a judge?).

So either murder or … hand her over for removal from the island. And a little gratuitous sadism might well be at work … the group that Joran belonged to was called the PIMPS, not the Aruba Nature Lovers Society.

And as I’ve said, girls are equally capable of horrific acts against other girls.

We’ll find out someday if there is anything to this. But remember Amy Bradley.

Remember, too, that Venezuela is notorious for trafficking; that is beyond dispute. And drug trafficking and human trafficking are often done in tandem.

I don’t see anything outlandish in the belief that the lowlife scum such as Joran and the Kalpoes would hand over an “inconvenient” girl like Natalee to get her out of their lives, or that some people down there would relish having an AMERICAN (and a glamorous one at that) at their mercy.

      Look at Elizabeth Smart.

    112. Richard on December 4th, 2007 10:56 pm

Sharon Chicago, you write: “the money would not be worth going to jail for possibly murder charges.”

Judging from what has happened on Aruba so far, it seems that the van der Sloot clan were indifferent to the possibility of such charges from day one. Why would removing Natalee from Aruba put him in more danger of facing charges?

    113. brie on December 4th, 2007 11:57 pm

      RISK FOR TRAVELLERS—-Aruba Health Overview

There is significant risk for travellers in areas where dengue fever is endemic and in areas affected by epidemics dengue. Without appropriate treatment 40 to 50% of the cases are fatal. This transmitted by the Aedes-aegypti mosquito. Monkeys act as a reservoir host in some countries. Aruba has outbreaks of dengue fever.

    114. brie on December 5th, 2007 12:11 am

At the very beginning Joran told the ALE, “You will never find that girl”, anyone innocent would never make a statement like that. Want to tell us why not?

      RISK FOR TRAVELLERS—-Aruba Overview

The Surgeon General has determined that travellers to Aruba are exposing themselves to serious risk of rape or murder which could be hazardous to your health.

A further warning from the State Department states that you will be traveling entirely at your own risk and should not expect assistance from local authorities.

In addition, only take your debit card if you intend on buying crack for everyone on the happy island.

    116. Dan in Tx on December 5th, 2007 5:48 pm

      Sharon Chicago-

I don’t believe that the suspects knew that Natalee would not show up- they were just delivering the ‘goods’ for the 21st time to Paulus’ drug lord friends. When Natalee failed to show up the next day (unlike the other victims) because somebody deviated from the usual plan, they were the last people seen with Natalee.

Oh, crap! So they go to daddy to help cover their butts, knowing several things:

      1. the corrupt Dutch in Aruba will never convict their own (as many Arubans and Netherlands citizens have said),
      2. the FBI called the justice system in Aruba, ‘incestuous’ meaning everyone was way too chummy with everyone else, be they judges, defense attorneys, or prosecutors. And daddy Sloot is right in among them, isn’t he?
      3. the people who failed to hand Natalee over are too dangerous to squeal on. So if daddy and his friends can keep you out of jail and the real perps are not to be messed with, why worry if people think you murdered the girl?
      4. What is more scandalous, a murder or a sale into prostitution? Which screws your tourism up more? Only problem is, the Aruban gov’t didn’t expect that their cover-up would take just as bad of a toll in the long run. They thought Natalee would fade away and be forgotten like Amy Bradley was. By the time they realized things weren’t cooling down, Natalee was beyond their reach to recover. Now they have to lie, lie, lie to the world and their own people and try to wait this out.
      5. There’s no reason for the Arubans to keep a body from being found. It would have gotten the media and family and volunteers off the island quickly, thus minimizing the negative publicity. And made it so much easier to protect the guilty and cover up evidence. Look up the tragic case of Rebecca Middleton, and compare that to Natalee’s disappearance. The differences between the two cases, and what those differences imply, are more striking than the many similarities.
      6. The new investigative team cannot start from square one; they have to review evidence and then do what they can from there. So does Hans Mos have circumstantial murder evidence, or does he have a jumble of clues that he’s trying to fit into that box? Just because he’s a professional doesn’t mean he’s perfect.
      7. Let’s face it: without forensic evidence, all we have is K2 accusing Joran of doing something, and Joran accusing K2 of the same. That doesn’t mean squat in even an honest court of law!

Folks, this case isn’t going to be solved by anyone who has their mind locked down to one possibility just because that’s what usually happens. Hans Mos, Art Wood, even Tim Miller – they may be good people but they have blinders on. This case will be solved by people who are able and willing to color outside the lines.

      Appeal Lost!

ORANJESTAD, Aruba – An Aruban judge has refused to overrule the release of two suspects in the 2005 disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway.

The suspects, Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, were released from jail on Saturday after a judge ruled the evidence was not strong enough to continue holding them.

They had been held on suspicion of involvement in Holloway’s death. Prosecutors challenged the decision at a closed session Tuesday, but were rebuffed by the court.

The Kalpoe brothers were arrested for a third time in the case on November 21 along with a third suspect, Joran van der Sloot, who remains in jail.

Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Alabama, was last seen leaving a bar with the three suspects on May 30, 2005, hours before she was scheduled to return home to the U-S with her classmates.

All three of the suspects deny any role in the disappearance.
