It’s probably people who went to the police station to report a crime and had to wait on Jacobs to have his Frosted Flakes and coffee.

I read everyday but don’t post. I have attached a link for the “natural bridge” in Aruba. Apparently they have a few based on the article. I have never been there and in light of what has happened will never go there. This is the biggest one. I do think somehow there is a link between Natalee and this falling. And also the 3 are guilty as ****. It’s interesting to read here because I agree with most of the opinions and what has happened in the case.

A larger number of slaves were taken to the Caribbean than went to the USA. Also, the Carribean instituted slavery long before the USA did.

sunfreak2 the U.S.A. din’t even exist long before the carribian!(columbus landed there remember)and it was a “halfway station” to the U.S.(which was british at the time) and south america.get your history right!the dutch, therefore the antillies banned slavery LONG before the U.S. did!the U.S. became to dependant on slave labour just to let it go! according to mayan_moons i was going to far back into history!but you put the shovel even a couple of kicks deeper! it’s just like justinsmama said,it’s all in the ugly past!(she doesn’t know a lot about the dutch in WW2 but that’s another story)WE WILL SOLVE THIS CRIME EVEN IF IT TAKES US A 1000 YEARS!!

    57. mayan_moons on October 29th, 2006 11:17 pm

Of course you’d rather blah blah blah about slavery, war history, hell anything but the fact that Joran & Kalpoe’s the last people to be with Natalee and been lying ever since. Aruba does not care about Americans and now Americans don’t care about you.

    58. Minnesota Dad on October 29th, 2006 11:29 pm

      #42 – Dutch Hog.

The Dutch are NOT going to solve this crime. We already know that the evidence has been destroyed, tampered with, and altered by the Aruban Law Enforcement. Not to mention the crime scene (Paulus and Anita’s home) was never searched.

If the Dutch had a shred of integrity and were serious about solving this crime, they would have VOIDED all judgements made to protect Paulus. These judgements were made by black robed buddies of his – clear conflict of interest.

I will eat my words if I am wrong…but if I was a betting man….I would be betting that the Dutch being in Aruba is just an attempt to show that even the Dutch agree that there is no evidence and that the perpetrators (Paulus + J2K) will walk free and they will close the case.

THE DUTCH INVESTIGATORS ARE NOT GOING TO DO A THING WITH THIS CASE…MARK MY WORDS…this, my friend, is how cover-ups work. md

    60. Ramlady on October 29th, 2006 11:57 pm

#56; Dutchhog: It would appear Mr. Hog that your history book is mistaken. Slavery was abolished in the Dutch Antilles in 1863, the same year Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in the U.S. The ratification of the 13th Amendment in 1865 legally abolished slavery in the U.S. The Netherlands were the last European country to abolish slavery. The French (1790s) and the British (1830s) did so much earlier than the Dutch. The Dutch were very dependent on slave labor in the Caribbean just as America was before the Civil War. They had important sugar plantations in the Dutch colony of Suriname, and many African slaves escaped and formed kingdoms in the interiors which led to violent wars. Slaves were subjected to beatings and rape. The islands of Curacao and Aruba were particularly hit hard by the abolition of slavery in 1863, and their economies suffered until the construction of oil refineries in the early 20th century. Slavery has existed throughout the history of mankind on every continent. As horrible an institution as it was, it was not invented by or practiced only in the southern United States of America.

I think the words were like

“if they do not find a body (mean someone is dead) they cannot prove a crime (meaning unlawful: assuming body being dead I would think that would mean, they can’t prove you murdered someone)

They exact verbage can be found on SM under Deepaks statements. Really interesting if you disect that statment, particularly since Deepak said Paulus said that, and Paulus was a judge in training. Why would they think Natalee was dead?

Dutch Hog, I suggest you reread your history book. I’ve read mine and much much more.

I’ve snipped some info from the Wikipedia just for you.

      “New World destinations-

African slaves were brought to Europe and the Americas to supply cheap labor. Central America only imported around 200,000. Europe topped this number at 300,000, North America, however, imported 500,000. The Caribbean was the second largest consumer of slave labor at 4 million. South America, with Brazil taking most of the slaves, imported 4.5 million before the end of slavery.”

“The second record of African slavery in Colonial America begins with twenty blacks recorded as being brought by a Dutch ship and sold to the English colony of Jamestown, Virginia in 1619 as indentured servants.”

Let me summarize that for you -
      1. Dutch brought slaves to American colonies
      2. Carribean imported 4 million slaves. (4,000,000)
      3. US imported 1/2 million slaves. (500,000)
