Harry Reid Says the Tea Party will Fade Away … Politico’s Continue to Marginalize the Tea Party
So Democrat US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV-D) says that the Tea Party will fade away. I guess he also thought that the skate board was a passing fad as well? How do these people spew this nonsense and keep a straight face? Democrats have never understood that the Tea Party is the silent majority.
VIDEO Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit
But Reid doesn’t expect it to last.
“The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy,” he said. “I’ve said that many times, and I believe that.”
“That (the Tea Party) will pass. They will lose a number of seats next year.”
Wanna bet? That same Tea Party that you continually speak ill of, will be the same movement who in 2012 will help make Reid the former Democrat Majority Leader. The desperation from the LEFT has as The OtherMcCain writes has become laughable. Does it get any worse than when one becomes nothing more than a joke?

White House Makes Excuses for Democrats Calling Tea Party Terrorists … “Inappropriate and the Product of An Emotional Discussion”
White House making excuses for referring to Tea Party as terrorists … hoe about a formal apology?
What say you White House press secretary Jay Carney, does President Barack Obama think that it is appropriate discourse for VP Biden to refer to the Tea Party as terrorists? When faced with the question Carney responded with the lame response, that the use of the word “was a product of an emotional discussion, very passionately held positions in this debate, but that does not mean that it’s appropriate.
One reporter today asked White House press secretary Jay Carney about reports that the Veep had used the term, wondering if “the president thinks that’s appropriate discourse?”
“No, he doesn’t, and neither does the vice president,” Carney said. “And I think the vice president spoke to this and made clear that he didn’t say those words, and I think the congressman in question has said that he regrets using them.”
Carney said the use of the word “was a product of an emotional discussion, very passionately held positions in this debate, but that does not mean that it’s appropriate. And it’s not. The vice president doesn’t think so; the president doesn’t think so. Any kind of comments like that are simply not conducive to the kind of political discourse that we hope to have.”
So it was not appropriate, but understandable because of the emotional discussion. Really? However, what should we expect from one of the most partisan and confrontational Presidents ever. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed and it was the Tea Party that called Biden or Obama a terrorist?
How ridiculous and unacceptable was Biden’s comment? On the very day that Gabby Giffords returned to the House after being shot in the head and nearly killed, the same Gabby Giffords where Barack Obama at the Tuscon Memorial speech said that “WE CAN DO BETTER”. Once again Obama proves he is just words.
President Obama called for a greater civil political discourse in America, if not for ourselves, then for our children and Christina Green, the 9 year old girl who was murdered Saturday at the hands of evil. However, if we are trying to make a world that our children would be proud of, wouldn’t it start by not placing a mountain of debt apon them?
And in Christina…in Christina we see all of our children. So curious, so trusting, so energetic and full of magic.
So deserving of our love.
And so deserving of our good example. If this tragedy prompts reflection and debate, as it should, let’s make sure it’s worthy of those we have lost. Let’s make sure it’s not on the usual plane of politics and point scoring and pettiness that drifts away with the next news cycle.

TEA PARTY Already Has WON & Why Establishment GOP’ers Must Go … Senator Jon Kyl (AZ-R) Says Tea Party Republicans Remind Me a Lot of Senator Obama Who Was Also Refused to Raise Debt Limit
Tea Party like Obama … How out of touch are some Republicans and ever wonder why we have a government that spends our money with complete disregard?
Ever wonder why the debt, the economy and the jobs situation ever got to a place where we find it today? Its not just because of liberals and Progressives like Obama, Pelosi and Reid, they cannot help themselves … the blame also falls on establishment Republicans like Jon Kyl and RINO’s who have aided in the “look the other way”, out of control spending and raising debt limits without issue. How many times were these people going to raise the debt limit with complete disregard? Imagine running your household budget by the answer being, lets just put more on the credit card.
It is obvious that establishment Republicans must go, either by retirement or voted out of office. This could never have been more evident than the comment this morning of FOX NEWS SUNDAY whey Kyl said, “Tea Party Republicans remind me a lot of Senator Barack Obama who also refused to raise the debt limit.” WHAT???!!! Are you serious Senator? As the Gateway Pundit reminds us, it was not just Obama who voted against raising the debt limit under GWB, it was most of the Democrat party. They did not vote against raising the debt limit out of principle, they did so because they were going to vote against Bush at all cost. Get real.
A note to establishment Republicans and RINO’s, make no mistake about it, it was the TEA PARTY who made it possible that the GOP even has control of the US House of Representatives and made the margin in the US Senate much closer. The Tea Party revolution that took place during the 2010 midterm elections had nothing to do with the RINO’s and tired GOP Party. You just happened to be the beneficiaries.
Also, the TEA PARTY has already won the DEBT CEILING debate for if Barack Obama, Democrats and the useless progressives in the GOP had their way, Obama would have been given a blank check and clean bill that raised the debt ceiling. The TEA PARTY lead, while Obama stayed in the wings and tweeted. It was Barack Obama who stated from the outset that he wanted a clean bill to raise the debt ceiling.

Tea Party Caucus to Push Full Faith and Credit Act Bill That Would Force Obama to Pay Creditors, Social Security Recipients & Military in Case of Default
Enter the real adults …
Remember when President Barack Obama told CBS that he could not guarantee that Social Security checks would go out if the budget went into default? It appears that there is a real adult in the room as the Tea Party Caucus is looking to push a Full Faith and Credit Act bill that would force Obama to do the responsible thing and pay creditors, social security recipients and those in the military in case their is a debt limit default.
Tea Party conservatives hope to make a push on the House floor to force President Obama to avoid a national default if Congress fails to raise the debt limit.
Members of the Senate Tea Party Caucus have met with House freshmen to discuss a plan to pressure House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to bring the Full Faith and Credit Act to the floor.
The legislation would direct Obama to prioritize federal payments to the nation’s creditors, Social Security recipients and soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
How common sense is this bill that would make the President and Democrats responsible to prioritize their debt as opposed to using scare tactics and lie to the American people that checks will not go out . Normally it would be a president that would provide such leadership to show that the US would be responsible in prioritizing debt payment. Not in this case.
“We have a bill that directs by law the president to pay the interest on the debt, pay social security checks and pay soldiers’ salaries. We’ve been talking with the House freshmen to see if they will force a vote on that next week,” said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a member of the Senate Tea Party Caucus.
How shameful that Barack Obama would make such a comment that social security and disability checks would not go out when he knows there is the money to may them. Actually, it is beyond shameful and playing partisan scare politics at its worse.
However, as bad as Obama has been with such terrible scared tactics … as stated at Red State, its time for the Conservative GOP to draw a line in the sand and stand up for the principles as to why they were voted into office in 2010.

Senator Schumer has Forgot Obama’s Request for Civility … I Guess the Democrats Cannot Do Better
Democrats behaving badly even after Obama’s request for civility.
Remember when President Barack Obama said that we should be civil and set a good example for 9 year old Christina Green at the Tuscan, AZ Memorial service . Obama said that we should use civility in the wake of the murderous and hateful acts of Jared Loughner. Barack Obama said that “we could do better”. It would appear that Obama’s Democrat party cannot do better.
“I believe we can be better,” Obama said to a capacity crowd in the university’s basketball arena and to countless others watching around the country.
“Those who died here, those who saved lives here — they help me believe,” the president said. “We may not be able to stop all evil in the world, but I know that how we treat one another is entirely up to us.”
In crafting his comments, Obama clearly sought a turning point in the raw debate that has defined national politics. He faced the expectations to do more than console, but to encourage a new day of civility, all without getting overly political in a memorial service.
Obama settled on a theme of challenging the country to have a debate that is worthy of those who died. He tapped into the raging debate about the role of incendiary rhetoric without dwelling on it. “Let’s remember that it is not because a simple lack of civility caused this tragedy. It did not,” the president said.
Really? Don’t say that to the Democrats and folks like Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY). Chucky was only the latest in a long line of incivility by Democrats in taking rhetoric to a new and shameful way. This time it had to do with making childish comments in condemning Republicans in the budget battle. Schumer compared House conservatives to a flea.
