Harry Reid Says the Tea Party will Fade Away … Politico’s Continue to Marginalize the Tea Party

So Democrat US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV-D) says that the Tea Party will fade away. I guess he also thought that the skate board was a passing fad as well? How do these people spew this nonsense and keep a straight face? Democrats have never understood that the Tea Party is the silent majority.

But Reid doesn’t expect it to last.

“The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy,” he said. “I’ve said that many times, and I believe that.”

“That (the Tea Party) will pass. They will lose a number of seats next year.”

Wanna bet? That same Tea Party that you continually speak ill of, will be the same movement who in 2012 will help make Reid the former Democrat Majority Leader. The desperation from the LEFT has as The OtherMcCain writes has become laughable. Does it get any worse than when one becomes nothing more than a joke?

First Democrats dismissed the Tea Party, then they demonized it, now they are desperate and using wishful thinking to state that it will fade away. How wrong have the Democrats been on the Tea Party since the outset of the movement? How amazing that anyone would demonize and call a movement terrorist when all they are looking to do is have a responsible government to the people and get the US government’s fiscal house in order.

Just curious Senator Reid, who was it that forced Barack Obama and Democrats into the promise to cut spending before raising the debt limit this month and not provide a clean bill where Democrats could raise the limit at will? That’s right, that ever fading Tea Party.

Good grief, from The Hill comes another story that attempts to marginalize the Tea Party.Polls from CNN, the NY Times and CBS, you can do better than that.

The reign of the Tea Party may be coming to an end in Washington, according to academic political experts who say polls show a backlash against the conservative movement.

Two national polls released this month by CNN and The New York Times in conjunction with CBS News showed the Tea Party’s unfavorable rating at an all-time high.

Legal Insurrection speaks the truth as to how the liberal MSM contrives a story, falsely reports the story with complete and total bias and then does a poll to get an opinion of their made up story. The end result, they call it news. Pathetic.

The mainstream media spends two years calling the Tea Party movement racist, extremist, sexist, terrorist, and hostage takers, and then acts as if negative polling results reflect something wrong with the Tea Party movement rather than their own biased reporting.

The MSM, Democrats and Barack Obama can slander Tea Party Americans all they want … you can never take away our vote and we will be heard in 2012 and thereafter. Funny, if the Tea Party was such a passing fancy and irrelevant, why does the media and Democrats attack them at ever chance?

Let us hope Harry will fade away, the man is a moron. As for the Tea Party, it is an idea that the government works for We the People. As Lincoln said in his Gettysburg Address, “that this Government of the the people, for the people, and by the people shall not perish from the earth. The same holds true for the Tea Party movement its ideas will live on long after Nancy Polluted, Prince Harry, and Obummer are gone from this earth. Think about it Trolls!

I am using somebody else’s analogy but they were right. Piglosi got it right; the Tea Party is Astro Turf. It does not shrink, fade or go away. You can run over it time and again and it will just keep bouncing back. Dingy Harry will be long gone before the Astro Turf will be.

Fade away? I hope quite the contrary, let Palin get the nomination and it would be 4 more years of President Obama right there.

‘Exasperating’ is the word that describes
the repetitious whining of tiny little grandmother
type senator masquerading as a representative
of We the People. Harry is running up a record
of being wrong on everything that rivals that of
      his boss man, Barry Soetoro.

      WISHFUL THINKING, HARRY!

As soon as the Tea Party and the Republican establishment find a way to coalesce, we will have a voting block that MIGHT save this country.

He has it the wrong way around…..bye bye…!!!!!!

Wendy, I like Sarah Palin very, much and think she’d do an exponentially better job than Obama. Sadly, those who dislike her do so enough to cause such an uproar it is unlikely she’d get the nomination to run against Obama. I’m hoping she’ll get a position somewhere in gov’t by whoever the new president will be. We will see.

WOW. On Fox Obama argued with a member of the Tea Party that “he knows better than ANYone what it’s like to be slammed for his polital views and was not about to accept a lecture on the topic.”

Again, WOW. I don’t see how his majesty gets his head through the front door of the White House. He truly thinks he is something other than what he is which isn’t much unless you take being a total disaster into account.

wendy: aren’t you a hamburger joint ? yopu should stay there. your jealousy of Sarah is shaming you as a lowly democrat. your democrat party is dissolved as of 2012.

    12. Dolf on August 17th, 2011 6:11 am
