Barack Obama Speech … Washington Took Its Eye Off Economy With “Distractions” and “Phony Scandals”

NO HE DIDN’T … BARACK OBAMA REFERRED TO DISTRACTIONS IN WASHINGTON AS PHONY SCANDALS!!!

Is Obama done speaking yet … Good grief this might have been one of the worst, rambling speeches I have ever heard. President Barack Obama’s speech on the economy was touted as being an important speech to help the economy and job growth. Instead, all we got from the “community agitator” was the same old tired economic agenda from Obama, blame Republicans and a new smear … calling the scandals that have plagued the Obama White House, “phoney scandals”. Even the WAPO had to print that Barack Obama’s new economic plan was the same as his old plan. One that has failed, provided more debt to the United States and has given us the worst economic post recession job growth period in history. What was the point of this speech? It certainly could not have been to bring Republicans and Democrats together to solve the problems of a floundering US economy. Phony scandals? Seriously, Barack Obama thinks the death of border agent Brina Terry as a result of Fast & Furious is a phony scandal? Obama thinks that the death of four Americans in Benghazi, including Ambassador Chris Stevens a phony scandal when it was the Obama WH that put forth a false and phony narrative that the terror attack was a result of a video? Who scrubbed the Benghazi talking points Mr. President? And the targeting of Conservative and Tea Party organizations by the IRS that was said to be only a couple of rogue agents and has now spread to many offices, Washington, DC and the White House counsel, that is a phony scandal as well? Wasn’t it President Obama who called this outrageous behavior? Now it is a phony scandal as it gets closer and closer to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. What about the going after of AP reports and James Rosen of Fox News, those were phony scandals as well?

What Obama is counting on: Hey America, you bough my BS for 5 years and 2 elections … what’s another 1200 days?

You could be forgiven if you thought you had heard President Obama’s speech on the economy today before. Because you have.  For most of the 2012 campaign. (Don’t trust us, read Obama’s 2012 acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.)

Things are getting better in areas like private sector job creation, home construction, energy independence and health care. But, the country isn’t all the way back yet. Republicans are looking out for the wealthiest Americans at the expense of the middle class. Times need to change.

“With an endless parade of distraction, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball,” Obama told a crowd at Knox College in Illinois this afternoon. “And I am here to say this needs to stop.” Later in the speech, Obama vowed: “I will not allow gridlock, inaction or willful indifferences to get in our way.”

That’s a nice rhetorical flourish and there are, without doubt, some things that Obama can make happen in regards the economy via executive order. But, to make any major progress — a grand bargain on debt and spending for example — President Obama needs Congress, including the House that remained in GOP hands in 2012 despite his stronger-than-expected victory on the same day.

From The Weekly Standard: Older, But Not Wiser – Obama’s first speech in a series is a predictable bust.

Speaker of the House John Boehner ripped the president for his speech, Obama speech ‘an Easter Egg with no candy’. Personally I thing my comparison would have been a bit more harsh than providing the illusions of a fluffy bunny. Americans are suffering and all people should be sick and tired of a class warfare president who is more intent on making political points than helping “We the People”. Obama’s agenda has failed and if we give this failure any more lip service, the USA will look like Detroit.

Just how bad was Obama’s speech … it had bipartisan support against it!

Who knew that the Democrats Obamamessiah would turn into Richard Nixon and call all the scandals that mired his administration false and phony. Welcome to Chicago-style politics. President Obama has no intentions of fixing anything. Obama is doubling down on his failed policies and looking to blame others for his actions and agenda. WAKE UP AMERICA … IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL THE USA IS GOING TO BE DETROIT.

Daily Commentary – Monday, July 8, 2013 – Fast and Furious Gun Linked to Killing of Mexican Police Chief

Daily Commentary – Monday, July 8, 2013 Download

Remember this Obama Scandal … Mexican Police Chief Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga Killed By ATF “Fast And Furious” Rifle

Add another one to the lives lost courtesy of  “Fast & Furious”.

The LA Times is reporting that Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 by a high powered rifle that was a part of the Eric Holder/Barack Obama “Fast & Furious” failed gun tracking operation. However, instead of the guns being tracked by this incompetent administration, they were lost. According to Mexican authorities, instead of the guns actually being tracked almost all the weapons were lost as they flooded across the border into Mexico.  Some 211 people were killed or wounded by Fast and Furious weapons. So as the rest of the Obama scandals continue like Benghazi, IRS, AP, NSA and James Rosen, Michelle Malkin reminds us that Obama’s bloodiest scandal continues to have victims. Obama and Holder lied and people continue to die.

A high-powered rifle lost in the ATF’s Fast and Furious controversy was used to kill a Mexican police chief in the state of Jalisco earlier this year, according to internal Department of Justice records, suggesting that weapons from the failed gun-tracking operation have now made it into the hands of violent drug cartels deep inside Mexico.

Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire. Also killed was one of his bodyguards. His wife and a second bodyguard were wounded.

Local authorities said eight suspects in their 20s and 30s were arrested after police seized them nearby with a cache of weapons — rifles, grenades, handguns, helmets, bulletproof vests, uniforms and special communications equipment. The area is a hot zone for rival drug gangs, with members of three cartels fighting over turf in the region.

A semi-automatic WASR rifle, the firearm that killed the chief, was traced back to the Lone Wolf Trading Company, a gun store in Glendale, Ariz. The notation on the Department of Justice trace records said the WASR was used in a “HOMICIDE – WILLFUL – KILL –PUB OFF –GUN” –ATF code for “Homicide, Willful Killing of a Public Official, Gun.”

How could any program be so ill-conceived and run so incompetently?

EPIC FAIL: President Barack Obama Bombs in Berlin … a Weak, Underwhelming Address From a Floundering President

Barack Obama, International Rock Star No More …

The UK Telegraph just rips Barack Obama’s underwhelming speech apart as they compare it to the one’s that JFK and Ronald Reagan made in Berlin. What else would one expect from a weak, ineffective and scandal ridden  president? Because truth be known and its about time that America and the World admit it, Obama really is an empty suit and an epic failure. Obama is no JFK and he certainly is no Reagan. Obama is simply an emperor with no clothes and now no audience. Obama’s speech yesterday in Berlin was as weak as it gets and showed just how small this president has become. Obama took his scandal plagued, failed economy on the road for what seemed more like a State of the Union laundry list of begs on the road to Europe. His lame speech can be read HERE. One has to wonder who thought this was a good idea. Is his ego really that big and is Obama do deluded to think that this small, tiny, miniscule speech was on par with JFK and RWR? All that has been accomplished during Obama’s European vacation is just how much he has diminished the role of the President and the United States in the World.

John F. Kennedy – I am a Berliner – “Ich Bin Ein Berliner”

Take a look what a real president looks like speaking in Berlin, Germany

When John F. Kennedy delivered his “Ich Bin Ein Berliner” speech in front of the Brandenburg Gate on June 26, 1963, 450,000 people flocked to hear him. Fifty years later a far more subdued invitation-only crowd of 4,500 showed up to hear Barack Obama speak at the same location in Berlin. As The National Journal noted, “he didn’t come away with much, winning just a smattering of applause from a crowd that was one-hundredth the size of JFK’s,” and far smaller than the 200,000 boisterous Germans who had listened to his 2008 address as a presidential candidate. JFK had a clear message when he came to Berlin a half century ago – the free world must stand up to Communist tyranny. 24 years later, President Reagan stood in the same spot famously calling on the Soviets to “tear down this wall.” Reagan’s speech was a seminal moment that ushered in the downfall of an evil empire, and gave hope to tens of millions of people behind the Iron Curtain. It was a display of strength and conviction by the leader of the free world, sending an unequivocal message of solidarity with those who were fighting for freedom in the face of a monstrous totalitarian ideology.

In stark contrast to that of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama’s message on Wednesday was pure mush, another clichéd “citizens of the world” polemic with little substance. This was a speech big on platitudes and hopeless idealism, while containing much that was counter-productive for the world’s superpower. Ultimately it was little more than a laundry list of Obama’s favorite liberal pet causes, including cutting nuclear weapons, warning about climate change, putting an end to all wars, shutting Guantanamo, ending global poverty, and backing the European Project. It was a combination of staggering naiveté, the appeasement of America’s enemies and strategic adversaries, and the championing of more big government solutions.

President Ronald Reagan – “Tear Down this Wall”

Another great President in Berlin, German

What did we get from Barack Obama? A political liberal beg speech of his liberal wish list that has nothing to do with anything except show just how shallow and small Obama really has become. It was nothing more than embarrassing.

CNN Poll: Barack Obama Approval Rating Falls to 45% Amid Continuous Scandals

Don’t look now but Nixon’s Obama’s approval ratings are tanking amid scandals.

According to a recent CNN poll. President Barack Obama’s approval rating has sunk to 45% while 54% disapprove of his handling of his job. It is his lowest rating in a year and a half. So why the free-fall? Can you say scandals and the fact that the American people are being to not only lose trust in government, but specifically lose trust in Obama. The scandals are starting to catch up with Obama and how could they not? With Benghazi, the IRS, AP, James Rosen, NSA, the State Department and lest we forget Fast and Furious, it is simply amazing his approval rating is at 45%. Obama also go low marks on handling the economy and the federal budget. Also, as reported at the Politico, for the first time in his presidency, the poll also found less than half of respondents believed Obama was honest. In all, the poll showed Obama to be a complete failure.

Full poll can be read HERE (pdf).

The president’s approval rating stands at 45%, down from 53% in mid-May. And 54% say they disapprove of how Obama’s handling his job, up nine points from last month. It’s the first time in CNN polling since November 2011 that a majority of Americans have had a negative view of the president.

“The drop in Obama’s support is fueled by a dramatic 17-point decline over the past month among people under 30, who, along with black Americans, had been the most loyal part of the Obama coalition,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

The president also dropped 10 points among independent voters, from 47% last month to 37% now, with Obama’s disapproval among independents jumping 12 points to 61%.

Snapshot of poll from Business Insiders:

General job approval is down from 53% in May to 45% now.
•Approval on the economy is down 2 points, to 42%.
On foreign affairs, Obama has fallen 5 points to 44%.
•On illegal immigration, Obama’s disapproval is up to 56%.
•49% of respondents say Obama is honest/trustworthy, a big drop from 58% in the last reading.
Among those aged under 30, Obama has seen a 17% (!) drop in approval.

More from The Politico, Obama losing support from Independents and the youth vote.

The drop in support for Obama was especially steep among young voters and independents. With voters ages 18 to 29, Obama’s approval numbers dropped 17 points, according to CNN’s polling director. Among voters ages 18-34, 48 percent approved of the job Obama is doing and 50 percent disapproved.

Independents’ approval of the president dropped 10 points, to 37 percent, and disapproval was up 12 points, to 61 percent.
