Gov Sarah Palin Responds to Senator Kerry’s “Missing” Joke … Hey John, Why the Long Face
Return of the Jedi … Alaska Senator Sarah Palin gets even with John Kerry and asks the junior Senator from Massachusetts, “John Kerry, why the long face?” Governor Palin, while speaking to servicemen in Kosovo, took the opportunity to respond to the not so funny wise crack that John Kerry made this past week wishing that it was Palin that had gone missing rather than SC Gov. Sanford. Real humor is such sweet revenge.
Hey John Kerry, Why the Long Face?
”He looked quite frustrated and he looked so sad,” she said. “I just wanted to reach out to the TV and say ‘John Kerry, why the long face?’,” she concluded.
Long face? I resemble that remark!
As we have always said, what makes a joke funny are three things, there has to be a little truth related to the joke, the delivery and it actually has to be funny and not mean spirited. Sarah Palin nailed all three and added her usual class as well. As stated by Stop the ACLU, the only thing missing was a “bless his heart”. Unlike Kerry’s joke that bombed big time, Palin’s zinger was an oldy, but goody.
Palin’s full address to the troops can be seen HERE.

Senator John Kerry’s Idiotic Remark Regarding Sarah Palin Going Missing Rather than Mark Sanford
John Kerry jokes that it’s too bad that it was not Sarah Palin did not go missing. What consumes these people with such hate? Talk about your “Palin Derangement Syndrome.” Democrats will attach Sarah Palin to the arrival of the 7 year locust if they could.

What kind of a jerk must one really be to actually make a comment that you wished someone go missing? Seriously, what kind a ass must one be to actually think it is funny to say the following, that the wrong governor went missing?

David Letterman’s Pathetic Apology Way Too Late … I Take Full Responsibility for Bristol/Willow Palin Knocked Up Joke … Sexist, Creepy Pig
David Letterman … YOU ARE THE JOKE … and you need to be fired.
The whole joke and incident was just creepy.
What took you so long, a sincere apology would have been done immediately, not a week later after pressure came to bear against you. We all know what his first reaction was to the incident. Since when is it ok to cross the line and go after a child of a politician?
Vanderbilt – 09
Letterman, a onetime successful comedian has sunk to desperate
levels. Overcome with apparent hate for all things Conservative,
this joker is grasping for straws. He claims to ‘regret’ many
of his scripted attempts at humor, but, needs to apologize
to the Palin family directly, and to all the women of the world
for chauvinistic statements he considers ‘Funny’!
It took David Letterman a week to realize that it was inappropriate and not funny to wish a 14 year old girl pregnant. Because it is really funny that you make a joke regarding Sarah Palin’s 14 year old daughter Willow and that she get “knocked up” by Alex Rodriguez. And no, we don’t buy the excuse that, you did not know. Frankly, you would not have cared as long as your hateful remarks were made against a Republican. In this case the child of a Republican.

Saxby Chambliss Wins US Senate Runoff in GA Going Away … Dems, No 60 Seats for You!
Georgia On My Mind: Georgia decides there will be checks and balances on an Obama Administration. How come the MSM is not referencing this Senate election defeat for Dems in Georgia as the first chink in the armor of The Chosen One?
Was the election of Barack Obama more about a perfect storm of overly favorable media coverage, bad economic situation and a specific candidate than it was about the American voter shifting to the Democrats? With no Obama on the ticket and much on the line for Democrats in the US Senate, Dems fall flat in Georgia.
Incumbent Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss wins the US Senate runoff race in Georgia by an overwhelming majority or Democratic state Representative Jim Martin, 57% to 43%. The Chambliss win denies the Democratic party the potential of 60 Senate seats and a filibuster-proof majority. Real Clear Politics blogged the Georgia Senate runoff.
What is most remarkable is the percentage difference that occurred in the runoff election vs. the general election between Chambliss and Martin. Martin finished 3% points behind in the general election; however, was trounced in the Georgia runoff when there was no Barack Obama for people to come to the polls and vote for.
