Real Clear Politics Average of national polls Has Trump Over Clinton, 44.0% to 43.6%
ITS ALL ABOUT THE TRENDING …
For the first time the Real Clear Politics average of national polls shows Donald Trump up 0.4 points over Hillary Clinton. The score is Trump 44.0, Clinton 43.6. This erases a 20 point lead that Hillary had back in July 2015. And more recently, an 11 point lead Hillary had over Trump in March 23, 2016. It is obvious that Trump is surging and trending up, while Hillary is falling. This has to bring panic to Team Hillary and the DNC as Trump is solidifying support behind him while the Democrats become more and more divided and violent as Bernie Sanders vows to fight on to the convention. So MSM, which party is having a civil war again?
The polls in play that show either Trump surging into the lead or making up a great deal of ground on the struggling Hillary Clinton are as follows.

- NBC News/WSJ
- Rasmussen
- Fox News

As Don Surber opines, “Remember how Charles Krauthammer said if Trump won the nomination he could lose like Goldwater? National polls today confirm that once again, Krauthammer may have gotten Trump’s chances wrong again.”

Rasmussen Reports Poll: Donald Trump 41%, Hillary Clinton 39%
RASMUSSEN POLL HAS TRUMP AHEAD OF CLINTON …
The most recent Rasmussen Reports poll has Donald Trump ahead of Hillary Clinton 41% to 39%. This is a quite surprising poll seeing that most political pundits have states that Hillary Clinton will crush Trump in a general election and the GOP will lose the House and Senate in the process. However, in this poll 20% of those surveyed either prefer another candidate (15%) or are undecided (5%). It is pretty obvious that Trump and Clinton are the presumptive nominees of their parties. The presidential election will rely on the decision as to whose unfavorables will be tolerated the most and how many will hold their nose and vote for the lesser of two evils.
Last week, Rasmussen Reports gave voters the option of staying home on Election Day if Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the big party nominees, and six percent (6%) said that’s what they intend to do for now. Clinton and Trump were tied with 38% support each; 16% said they would vote for some other candidate, and two percent (2%) were undecided.
But Trump edges slightly ahead if the stay-at-home option is removed. Trump also now does twice as well among Democrats as Clinton does among Republicans.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 41% support to Clinton’s 39%. Fifteen percent (15%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
This is the first time Trump has led the matchup since last October. Clinton held a 41% to 36% advantage in early March.
Trump now has the support of 73% of Republicans, while 77% of Democrats back Clinton. But Trump picks up 15% of Democrats, while just eight percent (8%) of GOP voters prefer Clinton, given this matchup. Republicans are twice as likely to prefer another candidate.
Among voters not affiliated with either major party, Trump leads 37% to 31%, but 23% like another candidate. Nine percent (9%) are undecided.
As stated at The Pirate’s Cove, “if Trump wins Indiana tonight, it is pretty much over for Ted Cruz. If that happens, here’s my message: you don’t have to like Trump, but politics often pits a bad choice against a worse choice. A President Trump would be much better than a President Hillary. The GOP still needs to retain the House (little chance of losing it) and the Senate (there’s a chance of losing it if Hillary wins). With a Republican (or, should that be “Republican”?) in the White House, the Party might be able to get some things done, such as repealing and replacing Obamacare. Wait any longer, and it will be impossible.”
Then again, the wild card in the race is whether Hillary Clinton will or won’t be indicted and the reaction by the electorate to that decision.

Rasmussen Reports: Voters Say to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Democrats … Yes, We Are at War with Radical Islam
BARACK OBAMA, HILLARY CLINTON AND DEMOCRATS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE TERRORISM ISSUE WITH WE THE PEOPLE …
It would appear that “We the People” are fed up with Obama, Clinton and Democrats telling them that they are racists, bigots and Islamophobes when it comes to the war on terror against radical Islam. According to a recent Rasmussen Report poll, 60% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States is at war with radical Islamic terrorism and just 24% share the president’s position and disagree. This is rather interesting heading into a presidential election in 2016 as Obama and Democrats refuse to use the term “radical Islam” for fear of hurting the feelings of Muslims. But as BPR opines, its not just Republicans voters who feel this way, 56% of Democrats believe America is at war with radical Islamic terrorism and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.
ISIS and terrorism under Obama isn’t going away any time soon as Barack Obama refuses to take the issue seriously which means that this will be a huge campaign issue in 2016 and the Democrats are not even close to being on the right side of the issue with the American people.

President Obama, Hillary Clinton and other senior Democrats refuse to say America is at war with “radical Islamic terrorism” for fear of insulting all Muslims, but voters beg to disagree.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 60% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States is at war with radical Islamic terrorism. Just 24% share the president’s position and disagree. Sixteen percent (16%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Even 56% of Democrats believe America is at war with radical Islamic terrorism, a view shared by 70% of Republicans and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.
A staggering 92% of all voters now regard radical Islamic terrorism as a serious threat to the United States. This includes 73% who say it is a Very Serious one, up 23 points from 50% in October of last year.
Voters are also more reluctant now to agree with Obama that the radical Islamic State group (ISIS) which masterminded the massacres in Paris last weekend is not a reflection of Islam itself. A plurality (46%) still thinks the president is right when he says ISIS does not represent true Islamic beliefs. But that’s down noticeably from 58% who felt that way in February after the president gave a speech equating the atrocities committed by ISIS with past sins of Christianity. Thirty-five percent (35%) now believe ISIS does represent Islamic beliefs. One-in-five voters (19%) are not sure.

The “Divider in Chief” Barack Obama … American Voters strongly Believe the United States is a More Divided Nation Under Obama
THE DIVIDED STATES OF AMERICA …
Since the beginning of his presidency and even before during the 2008 presidential election Barack Obama pitted black against white, poor against rich, old against the young, men against women, the USA against its allies, the government against the people and used the race card as often like he was playing golf. It should come as no surprise that the “community agitator” has divided America. That is was agitators do. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 67% of likely U.S. Voters say America is a more divided nation than it was four years ago. It would seem that Barack Obama is not the one that we have been waiting for.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Likely U.S. Voters say America is a more divided nation than it was four years ago. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just seven percent (7%) think the country is less divided now, while 21% rate the level of division as about the same.(To see survey question wording, click here.)
Among voters who see more division or about the same level of it, 35% believe President Obama is to blame. But 34% point the finger at Republicans in Congress instead. Twenty-three percent (23%) say they’re both to blame. Just five percent (5%) attribute the division to something else.
One can only hope that Obama has not divided America beyond repair.

Rasmussen: 71% of Voters Believe the IRS Deliberately Destroyed E-mails to Hide Guilt of Criminal Activity
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, a remarkably 71% of voters believe that the IRS deliberately and willfully destroyed emails related to IRS-gate and the targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups to hide evidence of criminal activity. Only 22% believe the IRS did not break the law, while 4% were undecided. It is fair to say that this polling is a resounding condemnation against the IRS that crosses all political parties. How bad is it when a government agency like the IRS is believed to play partisan politics and cannot be trusted?
Think about this, more than 7 in 10 individuals surveyed believe that the IRS committed a criminal activity in destruction of property and obstruction of justice to hide the guilt of their even greater criminal activity as a Democrat party ignores it and Barack Obama calls it a phoney scandal. This should be chilling for all Americans.
Most voters think it’s likely the IRS deliberately destroyed e-mails about its investigations of Tea Party and other conservative groups to hide its criminal behavior. Two-out-of-three now believe IRS employees involved in these investigations should be jailed or fired, and most suspect the agency of targeting other political opponents of the Obama administration.
As we are reminded by Real Clear Politics, a recent Fox News poll found similar results, 76% of voters surveyed believed that ex-IRS official Lois Lerner’s emails were deliberately destroyed. The distrust in the IRS was spread across all parties, including 90% of Republicans, 74% of Independents and 63% of Democrats. Only 12% of respondents believe the emails were accidently destroyed.
It gets better, these are the folks in charge of enforcing Obamacare. How’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for ya America?
