Barack Obama Falls to New Low in Gallup Job Approval Poll at 42%

Barack Hussein Obama’s job approval numbers keep falling … Gallup poll has Obama at new all time low of 42% approval and 49% disapproval.  Just one year ago Obama had a 54% – 39% job approval. Keep in mind the 42% approval rating comes before Obama’s Friday comments regarding the mosque in NYC and his subsequent back-peddling on the issue over the weekend.

Obama is rated poorly by Americans on the major issues. Economy & jobs are rated as the top issues among Americans, Obama rates dismally.

  1. Economy:  Approve 39% - Disapprove 59%
  2. Taxes:  Approve 41% - Disapprove 54%
  3. Health Care:  Approve 40% - Disapprove 57%
  4. Immigration:  Approve 29% - Disapprove 62%
  5. Federal Budget:  Approve 31% - Disapprove 64%
  6. Situation in Iraq:  Approve 41% - Disapprove 53%
  7. Situation in Afghanistan:  Approve 36% - Disapprove 57%

Obama’s average job approval rating at RCP is -5.2%. What will Obama’s mosque comments do to further destroy his job approval ratings.

American Public Has No Confidence in MSM Newspapers &TV News

What a shock, the American public have no confidence in the MSM, say it isn’t so. You mean the American people might actually think the MSM has an agenda rather than just reporting the news in a fair and balanced way? Only 25% of Americans say they have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers or TV news. A media that is supposed to be a watch dog for “We the People” with regards to government, has merely been the water carriers for those that agree with their liberal agenda.

When the MSM refuses to cover stories like Van Jones, Obama “green jobs” czar and the controversy surrounding him until Jones resigns, “We the People” have a problem. When the MSM refuses to ask an President, or a candidate for that fact tough questions because they are carrying the water for him and want him elected, “We the People” should have a major problem.

Of course why would Americans have any confidence in the MSM after the Daily Caller exposed the Jourolist members and their advocating of lying on Twitter and accusing others of being racist?

Americans continue to express near-record-low confidence in newspapers and television news — with no more than 25% of Americans saying they have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in either. These views have hardly budged since falling more than 10 percentage points from 2003-2007.

The findings are from Gallup’s annual Confidence in Institutions survey, which found the military faring best and Congress faring worst of 16 institutions tested. Americans’ confidence in newspapers and television news is on par with Americans’ lackluster confidence in banks and slightly better than their dismal rating of Health Management Organizations and big business.

No matter the cause, it is clear the media as a whole are not gaining new fans as they struggle to serve and compete with growing demand for online news, social media, and mobile platforms. The Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism’s annual report on the State of the News Media, released in March, found for a third straight year, only digital and cable news sources growing in popularity, while network news, local news, and newspaper audiences shrink. These findings align with a similar 2008 Gallup poll that found cable and Internet news sources growing in popularity while all others held steady or declined.

USA Today/Gallup Poll Has Obama Job Approval Rating at 41%, How Low Can He Go?

Holy Cow Batman, President Barack Hussein Obama at 41% job approval in the latest USA Today/Gallup poll. Obama, stuck between a Barack and a hard place. Obviously by looking at these numbers, even Democrats are disapproving of The One’s job performance. Which one will be the first poll to have Obama’s job approval ratings in the 30′s? President Obama got to his low job approval rating the old fashion way … he earned it!

Only 41% of those surveyed Tuesday through Sunday approved of the way Obama is handling his job, his lowest rating in the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll since he took office in January 2009. In Gallup’s separate daily tracking poll, his approval was at 45% Monday.

The waning support for the Afghanistan war coincides with the deaths of a record 66 U.S. service members in July, up from 60 in June. As the last of 30,000 reinforcements ordered by Obama enter the country, the international military force is encountering heavy Taliban resistance in the southern provinces of Kandahar and Helmand.

Obama says that there will be troop draw down in Iraq as planned, does any one on either side have confidence in this President? This President cannot defend our southern border with Mexico, makes one wonder how he defines victory in war other than politicizing it. As Obama claims … Mission re-accomplished.

No wonder Democrat politicians are running away from Obama when he comes calling to town and the best thing Obama could do for Democrats is endorse the Republican candidate.

Republicans Back on Top in Gallup Poll Generic Ballot … Lead in Rasmussen Generic Poll As Well

It is the reason why one looks at poll trending and not just a snap shot in time, the GOP is back on top in the Gallup poll Generic Ballot.Once again Republicans find them self with a 5% point lead at 48% to 43% margin over Democrats. The Democrats short lived two week lead is over and represents nothing more than an anomaly in an obvious political trend.

Registered voters favor Republicans by 48% and Democrats by 43% in Gallup’s generic congressional ballot for the week of July 26 through Aug. 1. This follows two weeks when the numbers were nearly reversed.

While the five-percentage-point edge for Republicans is not statistically significant, it represents a return to the prevailing 2010 pattern, seen since mid-March, whereby Republicans were tied or held a slight advantage over Democrats in most Gallup Daily tracking weekly averages. If sustained through Election Day, this competitive positioning for the Republicans among registered voters would point to major seat gains for that party in November given the usual Republican advantage in turnout.

Republicans also maintain an 8% point lead in the Rasmussen Generic Ballot. President Obama’s falling job approval numbers are not helping Democrats.

President Barack Obama Job Approval Numbers … He’s Fallen and He Can’t Get up

It is finally happening to President Barack Hussein Obama and his job approval numbers … The Perfect Storm of events for his negative poll number have reached the tipping point as the American voters are fed up with this President’s agenda … Obama has fallen and he can’t get up.

It was only a matter of time before the sum of all of the separate individual polls on how Obama was handling the economy, health care, immigration, the deficit, the budget, war on terror, BP oil spill and the rest of the main political indicators caught up with “The One”. For months all of the political indicator polls were negative for Obama, yet his job approval was positive. That situation is no longer the case.

The Rasmussen Presidential Daily Tracking poll has Barack Obama at -20. The One also finds himself with a -12% job approval rating with 44% approval and 56% disapproval.

obama_approval_index_july_31_2010

In less than two years in office Barack Obama has lost the independent, female, youth and Hispanic vote. The result as seen at Real Clear Politics is an endless number of polls that all have Barack Hussein Obama in the RED. The average polling ar RCP has Obama at -4.6% job approval. Rasmussen, Gallup, Fox News, CNN and Quinnipiac polls all have Obama in the negative.

The other commercial that might symbolize the Obama Presidency is … “Where’s the Beef”

Barack Obama has been on the wrong side of so many political issues since he has taken office, it has left Americans heads spinning and as upset as they have ever been. Americans are against the Obama stimulus and call it a failure. Never has that been more evident than with the most recent anemic 2.4% GDP numbers for 2nd qtr of 2010. Americans are against Obama suing Arizona on the illegal immigrant bill, they also trust the states more in handling the illegal immigrant issue better than the federal government.

How much of a drag will Obama have on the Democrat ticket in 2010? If the Democrats lose the House and/or the Senate and/or the majority of Governorships in the November midterms, what will be the further effect on Obama’s job approval? Such a bold statement by “WE THE PEOPLE” would say emphatically that they do not want Obama’s agenda and he/Democrats is either to reverse direction and suffer an even worse beating in 2012.
