Gallup: 38% of Americans Doubt Barack Obama Believes in U.S. “Exceptionalism”
The state run MSM can spin Obama’s rebound all they want … President Barack Obama has some serious problems with the American voters. A vast amount of Americans believe in American exceptionalism, while they do not believe Obama does as well. There’s something that folks actually
In a recent Gallup/USA Today poll, 80% of Americans think that America “has a unique character that makes it the greatest country in the world.” However, more than one third say President Obama does not share that belief of “American exceptionalism”. Only 58% believed that Obama shared the “exceptionalism” belief as compared to past Presidents like Reagan, Clinton and GWB at 86%, 77% and 74%, respectively.
On the whole, Americans, by 58% to 37%, believe Obama thinks the U.S. is exceptional, consistent with what he and his advisers maintain. But Americans are less likely to believe Obama holds this view than they are to think the same about Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.
When the electorate do not trust that Obama believes in exceptionalism, Obama has a serious problem
Americans who identify as Republicans, likely reflecting the opinions of some of their party’s leaders, are especially dubious that Obama regards the U.S. as exceptional. Thirty-four percent of Republicans believe the president thinks the United States is the greatest country in the world, while 61% believe he does not. Democrats are much more confident that Obama regards the United States as exceptional, while the majority of independents agree.

Gallup Poll: Conservatives Continue to Outnumber Moderates and Libs … Moderates on the Decline
According to a recent Gallup poll, Conservatives continue to outnumber both moderates and liberals as moderates decline to a new low. 40% consider them self conservatives, 35% moderates and 21% liberals. In both cases, over the years Republicans and Democrats are no longer calling them self moderates.
The political composition of U.S. adults held fairly steady in 2010 compared with 2009. Conservatives remained the largest group, followed by moderates and then liberals. At 35%, the percentage of moderates has declined to a new low, highlighting the increased political polarization that has occurred over the past decade.
Fewer people in all three party groups call themselves moderate today than did so in 2002, but the decline is particularly steep among Republicans. The percentage of Republicans calling themselves moderate fell from 31% in 2002 to 27% by 2006, and now stands at 23%. There has been a commensurate increase in the percentage of Republicans calling themselves conservative, now at a record-high 72%.
The Moderate Voice asks, Is there a futurefor moderates with the Democrats? Although the opinion is more from the moderate LEFT voice. Let’s face it, following the 2010 midterm elections and the devastating loses by Democrats, the majority of losses were moderates like the so-called “Blue Dog” democrats. The Democrats that remain in the House and Senate are more liberal than those ousted. Since when did “moderates” have a say in the Nancy Pelosi House? To make matters worse, the Leftists in the House, even after the shellacking of 2010, elect Pelosi minority leader. Oh yea, moderates are alive and well in the Democrat party.

Talk About Lame … 111th Congress Job Approval Rating Worst in Gallup History … 13%
The 111th Congress putting the “lame” in lame duck Congress …
83% disapprove of Congress and these clowns inflict a $1.1 trillion Omnibus spending bill on the American people as a parting present. The 111th Congress got this worst job approval rating ever, THEY EARNED IT!
As the lame duck 111th Congress thankfully fades into the sunset, Gallup polling know has this partisan Democrat controlled Congress with the worst job approval rating in Gallup history at 13%. That’s it, 13 lousy percent and frankly they are not deserving of that. The poll was conducted between Dec. 10-12, has a 4 percent margin of error; however, after the latest outrage perpetrated by the Congress with the $1.1 trillion, earmark, pork filled Omnibus bill, had Gallup polled now the job approval would have been in single digits.
Americans’ assessment of Congress has hit a new low, with 13% saying they approve of the way Congress is handling its job. The 83% disapproval rating is also the worst Gallup has measured in more than 30 years of tracking congressional job performance.
The prior low approval rating for Congress was 14% in July 2008 when the United States was dealing with record-high gas prices and the economy was in recession.
As reported at CNN, a CBS News poll released earlier this month indicated that 17 percent of Americans approved of how Congress was doing its job, with more than seven in ten saying they disapprove.
However, for some reason as the Democrat controlled Congress flounders with an inept and pathetic 13%, WAPO-ABC for some reason wants to poll on things that have yet to happen. So aptly discussed at Questions & Answers, what the hell is up with the Washington Post-ABC poll that claims, just 41 percent of respondents say the GOP takeover of the House is a “good thing.”
In the new poll, just 41 percent of respondents say the GOP takeover of the House is a “good thing.” About 27 percent say it is a “bad thing,” and 30 percent say it won’t make any difference. Most continue to say that the Republicans in Congress are not doing enough to compromise with Obama on important issues.
The shameful and comical WAPO-ABC title was, Public is not yet sold on GOP. Really? Could some one explain to me how someone could be sold on something that does not exist yet, hmm? The American public is literally saddled with the worst Congress in Gallup polling history, yet the bias WAPO-ABC poll analysis must have used a Magic 8-Ball to come up with the conclusion that the public is not yet sold. Please, as compared to the outgoing 111th Congress, only if the next Congress contained the KKK, al Qaeda and child sex offenders could they have a lower approval.
Has any Congress more ignored the will of the people and spitefully passed legislation that has done untold harm to America.

Gallup Poll: 66% Favor Tax Cuts While Democrats in Congress Rail Against Them, Liberal MSM Loses its Mind
Barack Obama was for tax cuts on the rich, before he was against it …
Wonder why Democrats had massive losses in the 2010 midterm elections? Maybe its because they are completely out of touch with the American people. Democrats are out of touch and Obama hasn’t a clue to what h is doing as he flip-flops.
Gallup released a poll dealing with the extension of the Bush era tax cuts that show an overwhelming majority of American are in favor of the tax cuts. Didn’t just the other day Barack Obama tell the American public that there were polls against it? Of course now Obama has flip-flopped and is praising the Bush era tax cuts and that they are necessary to create jobs. What? 66% of Americans are in favor of tax cuts for all, that includes 85% of Republicans, 67% of Independents and most notably 52% of Democrats.
After railing against tax cuts for the so-called rich and making it a major plank in his political platform in 2008, Obama now tells Democrats, Don’t topple economy by rejecting tax deal. Hmm, just the other day Obama said that there was no possibility of the US experiencing a double dip recession, he has flip-flopped on that as well.
President Obama warned his fellow Democrats on Wednesday that they risk plunging the country into a double-dip recession if they reject his tax-cut deal with Republicans.
As the White House intensified pressure on the president’s own party, and treated the package as a fait accompli, the Senate appeared to move toward passing it swiftly.
Needless to say, the LEFT is beside themselves with Obama complete 180 on tax cuts. And from the Gatway Pundit, there is Keith Olbermann who blasted Barack Obama last night for “appeasing” Republicans by allowing wealthy Americans to keep their money. Does that make Barack Obama, the WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD?
That’s weird. When Obama appeases terrorists, the Taliban or the killer Iranian regime, democrats don’t bat an eye. But, when Obama “appeases” Republican lawmakers in America, (the real enemy to socialism) the “progressives” come unglued.

Year Two of Obamanation: Barack Obama’s Approval Rating = GWB’s in Year 5 of Presidency
Barack Hussein Obama likes to blame all the ills of his Administration on former President George W. Bush. Does Obama blame his poor job approval ratings on GWB as well? Presently according to Gallup, Obama has a 42% approval rating and a 49% disapproval.
How bad has Obama been as President? It took Barack Obama only two years to reach an approval level of GWB in the 5th year of being President. One has to try in order to accomplish such poor poll numbers so fast.
Wonder why there are some Democrats who do not want Obama to run in 2012? However, it would also appear from the rhetoric from Barack Obama that he in no way understands the will of the people from their votes in the 2012 midterm election.
