Alec Baldwin to get a Show on MSNBC … Surely They Can’t Be Serious?

Could MSNBC become any more of a joke? Looks like the Magic 8 Ball says … signs point to yes.

As reported by Mediaite, Alec Baldwin is going to host a prime time show on the MSNBC cable news channel. According to Mediaite, Bladwin will not be replacing any of the stellar prime time news talent that MSNBC as assembled, but instead will replace the Lockup prison documentary series that airs Friday evenings. Are you kidding, that is actually the only show worth watching on the pathetic network. It would appear that MSNBC is neither confirming or denying the rumor.

Is the only reason why anyone would watch this to see if he has a melt down on live TV? But alas there is no way they would allow such a show to be taped live.

Mediaite has learned from a senior source in the cable news industry with knowledge of MSNBC’s programming that actor Alec Baldwin is getting his own weekly show in MSNBC’s primetime lineup.

According to our source, the so far untitled show will air Fridays at 10 p.m. ET and will feature a large dose of Baldwin’s outspoken liberal politics.

The gig would make sense, considering Baldwin’s long history with the NBC family. He starred on the network’s award-winning sitcom 30 Rock for seven years, has frequently hosted Saturday Night Live, and hosted the network’s American airing of 2007?s Live Earth concert. Most important, Baldwin’s fiercely liberal and often combative political views make sense for a network that has become the place for progressive viewpoints on cable.

Twitchy is a flutter with some great tweets regarding Alec Baldwin to MSNBC. How comical, pathetic and telling is it that FOX News puts an intelligent, aspiring and up and coming female talent like Megyn Kelly to prime time on their network and MSNBC puts a tired, old cranky, child hating, gay bashing lunatic white man like Alec Baldwin on theirs? Really, is this how far this cable network has fallen? I am going to go out on a limb and say it will not be too long before Lock Up is back on Friday’s.

White Maryland Man Beaten & Robbed by Three Black Men in Racially Motivated Hate Crime Attack Who Yelled …“This Is For Trayvon!”

Just curious, had George Zimmerman been found guilty, would “White” Hispanics been assaulting blacks in revenge attacks yelling, This is for George?

The vigilante Trayvon Martin mob was at it again this weekend. A Bethesda, Maryland white man was beaten and robbed by three black men. The 28 year old white man was attacked in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest, in Adams Morgan in an obvious racially motivated, bias, hate crime. The three thugs yelled “This is for Trayvon” as they beat and kicked the man. Who really thinks that these thugs watched or have any concept of the evidence presented during the George Zimmerman murder trial?

A note to Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, President Obama, Eric Holder, the New Black Panther Party, the NAACP,  blacks, the MSM and Democrats … This is what a hate crime looks like where some one’s Civil Rights are violated!!!

A Bethesda man was beaten and robbed early Saturday morning in Adams Morgan by three men who yelled, “This is for Trayvon Martin,” before attacking him, police said.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime and robbery, according to D.C. police spokesman Araz Alali.

Three black men approached an adult white male from behind while he was walking in the 1700 block of Euclid Street NW at 1:26 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Two of the men threw the victim to the ground and kicked him, Alali said. The three perpetrators then took the victim’s iPhone and wallet and fled.

NBC – Washington: The victim suffered lacerations to the face from the attack. Police said the suspects took the man’s wallet and iPhone. The police report lists the incident as robbery force violence, hate bias incident.

But this is what happens when you have an irresponsible MSM, President, Attorney General, faux Civil Rights agitators and Democrat party who insight the crowd and continue demands for justice. I hope Barack Obama and Eric Holder are happy with themselves as stated at NRO, where they “deliberately stoking resentment and tension, under the guise of leading a “national conversation” about race.”

Former NBA great Charles Barkley was 100% correct, when he said there are a lot of black racists as well.

Mark and Dana Michelle Gerstle, the family that was rescued by George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter in the death of Trayvon Martin, have told friend that they are terrified that they might become targets of the pro-Trayvon, “no Justice, no Peace” mob following their roll-over crash where Zimmerman came to their aid. The family believes that if they go public with their story that George Zimmerman rescued them from their turned-over SUV and make him appear to be a hero, they will be targeted by the hate mobs. How sad and worse yet, sick is this? George Zimmerman pulled the Gerstles’ and their two young children from their SUV after it rolled over in Sanford, Florida near the busy I-4 motorway. However, they are afraid to get involved and state publicly that Zimmerman is a hero for fear of the backlash. It is unbelievable that this is where we have gotten in this country thanks the the race-baiting by civil rights agitators Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, the New Black Panther Party, the MSM and President Barack Hussein Obama.

Mark and Dana Michelle Gerstle told friends they do not want to talk publicly about Zimmerman for fear they will be accused of portraying him as a hero – and face a backlash from those who consider he got away with murder.

‘They are very grateful to Zimmerman for what he did, but they do not want to get involved,’ said a friend, who asked not to be named.

‘There is so much hatred directed towards him they have got to think about their own family. There are a lot of crazies out there. If they say anything in support of him it could backfire.’

The neighborhood watch volunteer, who to many is the most hated man in America after being acquitted of the murder of Trayvon Martin, helped save the family after a terrifying crash.

This poor family simply had the unfortunate circumstance of getting into an accident and then having George Zimmerman save them. The reaction from the unhinged LEFT and race-baiters … how dare Zimmerman do anything good. He can’t be a hero, he is the Devil. Zimmerman can’t be a hero, that does not play into the Left’s and racial agitators narrative that Zimmerman is an evil racist. However, the truth is that the Gerstle family was rescued by Zimmerman and for that they are most likely personally grateful. However, publicly they cannot say anything for fear of being attacked. I cannot say I do not blame them, but what a commentary of society today. Thank you Barack Obama for your lack of leadership, your lack of bringing people together and your lack of character. The Gerstle family from Port Orange, near Daytona Beach, have refused all requests to talk about their encounter with one of the most infamous men in America.

Mr Gerstle was in no mood to discuss Zimmerman when he arrived back at the family home today in a rental car.

He screamed at reporters from his garage saying: ‘Go away. I’ve got nothing to say.’

The family have lived in the single story, tan stucco home for the past 10 years.

Gerstle drove straight into his garage after speeding down the road past several TV trucks and film crews waiting to interview him.

He appeared enraged that media wanted to talk to him.

Congressional Black Caucus Members Support Jesse Jackson’s Threat To Boycott Florida Over Zimmerman “Not Guilty” Verdict in Death of Trayvon Martin

Yup, I must have missed it where President Barack Obama said in his speech for the Congressional Black Caucus to knock off their nonsense?

Right on key, the Congressional Black Caucus members of the House followed in lockstep the calls of the Rev. Jesse Jackson to boycott Florida in the wake of the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial in the death of Trayvon Martin. Um, boycott Florida for what exactly? The Congressional Black Caucus, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the liberal MSM, Democrats, race-baiters not mentioned and Barack Obama all got what they wanted when George Zimmerman was arrested and charged with the murder of Trayvon Martin after Sanford, FL police and prosecutors initially thought that he should not be. George Zimmerman was then tried by a jury of his peers of which both the defense and prosecution agreed to. Those that cried for Zimmerman to be charged and tried got what they wanted through political pressure. However, when they did not get the verdict they wanted, the politicians who I guess do not respect the legal system or the juries verdict.

What is most pathetic is that Jesse Jackson and the CBC are highjacking the George Zimmerman murder trial and Trayvon Martin’s memory for their own political agenda. Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) said she’s also on board with the boycott of Florida and “I would support whatever it takes to get these stand-your-ground laws off the books.” Does anyone remember “stand your ground” being a part of the Zimmerman defense? The answer would be no. So what is this really all about? Those that want to boycott Florida don’t care about a fair and legal jury trial, they wanted George Zimmerman to be guilty no matter what the evidence was in the case. How classy of them.

Exerting pressure on Florida’s economy as Jackson is suggesting, they said, could help overturn the state’s controversial stand-your-ground laws that many contend contributed to the tragedy.

“That’s probably the best strategy, because people understand dollars and cents,” Rep. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) said Friday. “And they understand, if there’s a significant drop-off in revenues – at conventions, at Disney World and Universal Studios – that that will get the attention of the powerful.”

Uber-Lib Bill Maher Booed for Tasteless George Zimmerman Jokes & Florida on CBS ‘Late Show’ with David Letterman … “I say if he [Zimmerman] gets a gun, Casey Anthony gets a baby.”

Wow, when the audience at the lefty CBS ‘Late Show’ with David Letterman boo an uber-lib, you know you have a problem.

Last night in the ‘Late Show’ with David Letterman, far left comedian Bill Maher was booed for offering up some completely tasteless jokes regarding George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who was just found “not guilty” of murder or manslaughter in the death of Trayvon Martin, and the state of Florida. When Letterman has stated that Maher was a minority owner of the NY Mets, Maher followed up with, “Better than being a minority in Florida.” Then the boos came.  But not to be out done, Maher then said, “You know they want to give George Zimmerman a gun now. The Florida state law is that he can get his gun back. I say if he gets a gun, Casey Anthony gets a baby.”  Cassey Anthony was the Florida tot mom who got away with the murder and was found not guilty in the death of her two year old daughter Caylee Anthony who was found less than a mile away from her home discarded in the woods. Guess what then happened at the Letterman show, the boos came again and even louder. The sad part is Maher actually had to ask why they were booing. How bad were these tasteless jokes and how far LEFT has Bill Maher gone, even the crowd at the far-Left David Letterman show did not approve.

Who would have ever thought the death of a 17 year old teen and the murder of a 2 year old child wasn’t funny?

Right after Maher was introduced by David Letterman, the host mentioned that he was a minority owner of the New York Mets.

“Better than being a minority in Florida,” responded Maher to boos from the studio audience.

“Why are they booing?” he asked.

A bit later, Maher said, “You know they want to give George Zimmerman a gun now. The Florida state law is that he can get his gun back. I say if he gets a gun, Casey Anthony gets a baby.”

This was quickly met with groans from the studio audience.

“What is with the booing tonight?” Maher asked.
