Part 1: It Has Been 10 Years Since Natalee Holloway Went Missing, No Body … No Crime … And No One Tried, But We Know Damn Well Who Is Responsible, Don’t We Joran Van der Sloot?

ITS HARD TO BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN 10 YEARS …

May 30, 2005 … Alabama teen Natalee Holloway has gone missing in Aruba while on a class trip with her fellow Mountain Brook classmates to celebrate their graduation from high school, to begin their college careers and the rest of their lives. Or so they all thought. All of these young teens with their whole lives ahead of them, just celebrating one more time together before they went their separate ways in what was supposed to be a safe vacation surrounded by sand, sun and the sea. Like so many classes before them, a visit to Aruba was supposed to be the one last high school fling. Sadly, for Natalee Holloway it would be the one last thing she ever did in life, never to attend college, never to have the rest of her life. Enter Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe and everyone’s lives would be changed forever and not for the better.

The first post Scared Monkeys ever wrote on this missing persons case was entitled, ‘This Can’t Be Good For Tourism, Where’s Natalee Holloway’. At first glance, one night think it was rather crass and insensitive. But having visited Aruba since the 1970′s, having friends on the small Caribbean Island, even having dated a beautiful Aruba girl in my teens, and having lived and worked on Aruba, I pretty much knew what the prime concern would be for “One Happy Island” and that was to save its tourism industry at all cost. Even if it meant trying to push the dirt under the rug and hide things in the closet. The cover-up, collusion, corruption and cronyism would only be made worse in the case of missing Natalee Holloway when the individual last seen with the beautiful blond Alabama teen was Joran Van der Sloot, a boy of Dutch privilege who’s father was a judge in waiting with so many connections legally, politically and with law enforcement that all signs pointed toward the Holloway, Twitty and Reynold’s family being given the run around from the very beginning. I say this prior to ever having researched the case in depth or having talked to or met any of the family members. From experience, I knew the family was in for a hell of a time from past experiences on Aruba where the most simple of things are made into some of the most exasperating efforts in futility. I knew that Dave Holloway and Beth Twitty were in for a hell of a roller-coaster experience.

No one will ever convince me otherwise that the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and the subsequent search and investigation in Aruba was obstructed on two levels, one from the Van der Sloot family and Paulus Van der Sloot with his connections to prevent his son from going to prison and two, on a police, prosecution and government level to attempt to sweep this under the sand and save their economy that depended upon American tourism.

18 year old Natalee Holloway went missing on Aruba and was last seen leaving an Aruba bar, Carlos N’ Charlies, with three boys, Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe. The news of Natalee’s disappearance was not made public to the adults in attendance with the teens until the following day when it was time to head off for the airport to leave. Natalee was missing. From the outset, something was very wrong in how this case was being investigated. The Aruba police had the mindset that Natalee was just off having fun and she would return because this happens all the time. REALLY? That might have been some what okay reasoning for Aruba LE had any one of the three people Natalee was last with were missing too. However, they were not, they were already lying. What changed this case, brought it to the forefront and escalated it to new heights that we have never seen before in a missing persons case was that Aruba and the powers that be never imagines that the Holloway/Twitty family would have arrived so quickly on Aruba and hit the ground running trying to find Natalee. The Holloway/Twitty crew were doing the police and detective work that the Aruba LE should have already had done. Like I said, from the outset something smelled to the high heavens, and it was not just inept and incompetent police work, some was so bad it was obvious it had to be intentional.

The lies begin from the three amigos, Joran, Deepak and Satish … From the beginning of dealing with the three individuals who were last seen with Natalee, the lies were flowing. They stated that they dropped her off at her hotel, the Holiday Inn after having left Carlos n’ Charlies. How can the last three people ever to see Natalee not be considered suspects? especially when video surveillance tape showed that the three had never done any such thing. Wouldn’t that or shouldn’t that have been the first thing that Aruba LE should have checked? Instead, the family had to do the investigative work.

Holloway was last seen by friends getting into a vehicle and leaving the Carlos and Charlie’s nightclub in the capital of Oranjestad  before dawn Monday.

Police questioned and released three Aruban men who said they dropped Holloway off early Monday at the Holiday Inn, where she had been staying about 3 miles from the capital of Oranjestad, said police assistant inspector Jules Sambo. The three were not suspects, he said.

MORE LIES … BLAME IT ON THE BLACK GUYS.

On June 5th, 2005 two black men were arrested in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Why, because they were black. How racist is that? The former security guards, Mickey John, 30, and Abraham Jones, worked for the vacant Allegro hotel, two blocks from the Holiday Inn where Holloway stayed. How does anyone arrest two black men for a crime when the last people seen with a missing person walk free? Thus, we see from the outset the mindset in Aruba to blame this on anyone, two hapless black men, just because Aruba can. And they might have gotten away with it had Beth Holloway not come to their rescue and state, they were innocent.

A judge ruled Wednesday there was sufficient cause to keep holding two former hotel security guards in connection with the disappearance of an Alabama high school honors student.

The decision means authorities may hold Nick John, 30, and Abraham Jones, 28, for nearly four months while prosecutors investigate possible murder and kidnapping charges in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, defense attorneys said. Neither man has been formally charged.

The two men were arrested Sunday on suspicion of first- and second-degree murder and capital kidnapping, the latter of which is invoked when a kidnapping victim is killed, according to court-appointed defense attorneys Noraina Pietersz and Chris Lejuez.

Later in the case, I had the opportunity to meet Mickey John in the States through the aid of FOM and talk to him as to what happened, his involvement, if any, and his opinions on the case. After talking to him for 5 minutes it became obvious he had nothing to do with Natalee’s disappearance and what just an easy patsy to blame it on. Was Micky John a choir boy, of course not, but he was hardly a murderer. John told me that he would never make any type of statement, especially in Aruba fro fear he would be arrested again for no reason. What had always bothered me to this day was how did the Aruba LE, prosecution and judiciary allow the last three people ever to be seen with Natalee Holloway go from persons of interest and prime suspects to witnesses? From 6/8/05, Attorney general spokeswoman Vivian Van Der Biezan also told a news conference that three “persons of interest” who were questioned and released last week were considered “witnesses,” not suspects. HUH? They dropped the dime on Micky John and Abraham Jones and the Aruba legal brain-trust fell for it hook, line and sinker. Of course the fact that Joran Van der Sloot’s father, Paulus, was a lawyer and a judge in waiting with his many connections had nothing to do with this attempted cover up and frame job. It would not be until June 13, 2005 that Abraham Jones and Mickey John was released from jail.

This announcement was telling on two fronts, one, justice finally prevailed in that these two black security guards were finally let out of jail as they had no involvement in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and the other would be something that would become a common occurrence through out the investigation in Aruba. The second interest fact was that Scared Monkeys broke the news of the release of the two security guards before the AP. Needless to say that prompted many news outlets to contact us and ask how that was possible. This became one of the events in the case that prompted the news outlets to track SM, not the other way around. That’s what happens when you have people on the ground and know others with connections that supplied info and data on a case that was so fluid.

On June 6th, volunteers in Aruba searched for missing Natalee Holloway. About 700 volunteers joined police, soldiers and FBI agents on Monday, combing scrubland and beaches on Aruba’s southeastern tip in an unprecedented search for an Alabama teenager who vanished a week ago on a trip to the Dutch Caribbean island. The Aruba government gave their civil servant employees the day off to help search for Natalee. However, only about 18% of government employees showed to search on what was the biggest story to hit Aruba since their independence from Holland. Also, who did not search … Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe or Satish Kalpoe.

It would not be until June 8, 2005 that the three boys, Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe would be arrested by Aruba authorities in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. However, Natalee went missing on May 30, all this time for these three to get their stories synched together and to be coached by Joran’s father, Paulus Van der Sloot. Eight days go by and the individuals who were last seen with a missing person were allowed to sanitize, erase, get rid of and clean up all loose ends with the help of their master white-washer, Paulus.

Aruban police arrested three more suspects in the case of the missing American honors student Thursday, the attorney general said.

Attorney General Caren Janssen said police arrested three men that police had previously questioned and released in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway.

Authorities have described the three as students – two Surinamese and a native of the Netherlands – who told police they dropped off Holloway at her hotel around 2 a.m. on May 30. Hotel employees, however, say that security cameras did not record her return.

NO CHARGES FOR OFFICER KENNY IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF TONY ROBINSON …

Today, Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne announced that there will be no criminal charges filed against Madison, WI police officer Matt Kenny in the shooting death of 19 year old Tony Robinson. The district attorney Ozanne announced that it was a “lawful use of deadly police force.” Ozanne, in the video below, detailed the evidence that he reviewed before making his decision and then described the three 911 calls that were made prior to police being called to the scene. Orzanne  described how the callers said that Robinson was “tweaking, chasing everybody” and his other bizarre and erratic and violent behavior.

The Madison, Wisconsin, police officer who fatally shot a 19-year-old will not be criminally charged for the shooting since the district attorney announced today that it was a “lawful use of deadly police force.”

Officer Matt Kenny fatally shot Robinson on March 6 after police received a disturbance call. Robinson had allegedly been running in traffic and Kenny forced himself into an apartment that Robinson had run into. Robinson and Kenny got into an altercation inside the home and Kenny shot Robinson in his head, torso and right arm, authorities said.

“My decision is not based on emotion. Rather this decision is based on the facts as they have been investigated and reported to me,” Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne said at a news conference this afternoon.

In the end after Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne laid out all of the facts that took place that day, no charges could be filed against officer Kenny. No criminal charges could have ever been charged. Sometimes a suspects actions are so outrageous and threatening that a police officers only action is that of “lawful use of deadly police force.” Anyone who protests this as no clue of the rule of law, authority and does not care.

The Wisconsin police officer who shot and killed a 19-year-old unarmed biracial man won’t face criminal charges in the case.

“I conclude that this tragic and unfortunate death was the result of a lawful use of deadly police force and that no charges should be brought against Officer Kenny in the death of Tony Robinson Jr.,” Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne said Tuesday.

Robinson was fatally shot by Officer Matt Kenny, who is white, in Madison, Wisconsin, on March 6, setting off days of protests in the city. His death came amid lingering tensions over the killings by police elsewhere of other unarmed African-Americans that seized national attention.

The police union praised Tuesday’s announcement.

“We believe the district attorney’s decision today to exonerate Officer Matthew Kenny was appropriate,” Wisconsin Professional Police Association Executive Director Jim Palmer said in a statement. “The exhaustive, independent and transparent investigation into this tragic incident has confirmed that Officer Kenny’s actions on the night of March 6 were lawful and in response to a deadly threat, from which Officer Kenny sustained numerous injuries, including a concussion.

UPDATE I: Family of Tony Robinson … “This is not over:” Disappointed over decision in Madison, folks take to streets, vow to keep fighting.

Sorry, it is over. The police officer did not create the deadly situation, that was on Tony Robinson . The only truthful thing this attorney said was that this was a tragedy. Of course any time a 19 year old id dead, it is a tragedy. However, please spare us the BS that this was caused by a police officer. Tony Robinson’s actions are on him. He is responsible for his actions and the drug induced, erratic and violent state he was in.

Following the announcement, support for Tony Robinson’s family spilled into the streets of Madison — with supporters marching on Robinson’s behalf.

Tony Robinson’s family members and those who support them said they were disappointed by District Attorney Ozanne’s decision not to file charges in this case.

Hundreds marched through the streets of Madison — showing support for the family.

They say Tuesday’s decision won’t stop them from continuing to fight for justice.

“The loss this family has experienced is almost impossible to put into words,” Jon Loevy, the attorney for the Robinson family said.

61 Year Old Richard Fletcher Brutally Beaten in Baltimore … Where is the Baltimore Mayor or State’s Attorney Outrage?

HMM, DO 61 YEAR OLD WHITE MEN’S LIVES MATTER? I DON’T REMEMBER THE BALTIMORE MAYOR STEPHANIE RAWLINGS-BLAKE OR  STATES ATTORNEY MARILYN MOSBY WITH OUTRAGE ON THIS BLACK ON WHITE CRIME? 

61 year old Richard Fletcher is still recovering and has a long row to hoe after being beaten by a mob of kids within an inch of his life. According to accounts, Fletcher saw two girls fighting on top of his car and asked them to stop. This was the provocation for dozens of teens to brutally attacked him. The  majority of the students involved in the beating came from Baltimore Community High School. The High School has more than 450 students, grades 7-12. Most of the students catch the MTA bus least than a quarter of a mile away. Officials say the students walk through a Dundalk neighborhood, creating problems for many neighbors. Fletcher suffered  broken eye sockets, a broken nose, broken ribs and a brain bleed from this heinous April 22 attack.  Fletcher was beaten so badly that he was placed in a medically induced coma.

Okay, what is the justification to this attack? What excuse will be made to condone this type of behavior? Honestly, who acts like this?

17 year old Antoine Lawson has been charged as an adult with attempted murder in connection with the attack and a 15 year old girl is charged with assault. Lawson was indicted Monday on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, robbery and theft of less than $1,000. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center

A Maryland man is recovering after being violently beaten by a group of teenagers in an attack caught on video, reports CBS Baltimore.

Horrifying cell phone video shows a group of teens kicking and hitting Richard Fletcher, a 61-year-old Dundalk man, until he drops to the ground.

Fletcher reportedly suffered broken eye sockets, a broken nose, broken ribs and a brain bleed in the April 22 attack. He has since been released from the hospital.

Investigators say Fletcher saw two girls fighting on top of his car and when he went outside to ask them to stop, dozens of teens brutally attacked him.

“He wasn’t trying to intervene in their disagreement. He just wanted them to stop fighting and move away from his car,” Cpl. John Wachter of the Baltimore County Police Department told the station.

Seventeen-year-old Antoine Lawson is charged as an adult with attempted murder in connection with the attack and a 15-year-old girl is charged with assault. Neighbors say the teens go to nearby Baltimore Community High School. Authorities say more arrests are imminent.

How sick has this country become when its citizens now fear for their own safety as the police make more arrests in the disgusting and savage attack? When will we call these thugs for what they truly are, domestic terrorists.

So far, 17-year-old Antoine Lawson has been charged with attempted murder and a 15-year-old faces an assault charge in the beating, according to police. More arrests are expected to be made.

The neighborhood now fears for their own safety and would like to see police make more arrests in connection to the attack.

CBS News/NY Times Poll: Race Relations Worst In Over Two Decades … 61% Call Race Relations in the US “BAD”

According to a new CBS News-New York Times poll, 61% of Americans characterize race relations in the United States as “bad.” Thanks to Barack Obama, the most decisive president ever, the first black elected president of the United States has actually made race relations in the US worse, rather than better. You should be so proud of yourself. This is what the Obama presidency has accomplished, the poll states that for the first time since 1997 a majorities of both white and black Americans believe race relations in the U.S. are poor. Obama is an abject failure. This man could have done so much for race relations in the United States, he could have bridged the divide like Nelson Mandela did in South Africa between whites and blacks, but instead, because of his radical left agenda, his hateful black theology teachings and a religious mentor like Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, Barack Obama has made race relations worse in the US. This will forever he Obama’s legacy.

A new poll released Monday indicated that Americans believe race relations are at their worst in more than two decades.

The CBS News/New York Times poll said 61 percent of Americans characterize race relations in the U.S. as “bad,” including a majority of white and black respondents. The figure is the highest since 1992.

A total of 79 percent of African-Americans believe police are more likely to use deadly force against a black person than against a white person, while 53 percent of whites believe race does not play a role, the survey said.

Black respondents were also more likely than white respondents to believe their local police make them feel anxious rather than safe, the poll said.

This was also the first time since 1997 that majorities of both white and black Americans believe race relations in the U.S. are poor, the poll said. Opinions among white Americans have grown sharply more negative in the poll even compared with earlier this year – with 62 percent of whites saying race relations are bad compared with just 35 percent in February.

Black respondents have historically had a more negative view than white respondents about race relations, but the level of pessimism is now similar, according to the poll.

Also, fewer than one in five white Americans think race relations are getting better – with 44 percent responding that relations are getting worse and 37 percent saying they’re staying about the same.

Most respondents – 64 percent of whites and 57 percent of blacks – thought the unrest in Baltimore following Gray’s death was not justified, the poll said.

This poll isn’t much better than the Bloomberg poll in 2014.

Dr. Ben Carson, who just announced that he was running for president for 2016, previously stated in November 2014 that race relations were better prior to President Barack Obama. He said that things have gotten worse because of Obama’s manipulation of minority communities

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake Announced Sunday That She Is Lifting the Six Day Curfew

LET THE LOOTING AND BURNING BEGIN AGAIN …

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced today, Sunday, May 2, 2015 that she was lifting the 6 day curfew imposed after riots ensued using the excuse of the death of a black man, Freddie Gray, who sustained a spinal injury while in police custody. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has mishandled and botched the handling of this situation from the outset. Her naive and foolish agenda to have police stand down and not protect her city resulted in the lawlessness, rioting and mob violence that saw businesses looted, burned to the ground and police officers injured.

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced Sunday that she was lifting the six-day curfew imposed after riots ensued over the death of a black man who sustained a spinal injury while in police custody.

“My goal has always been to not have the curfew in place a single day longer than was necessary,” she tweeted. “I believe we have reached that point today.”

The announcement came a day after thousands gathered Saturday outside City Hall, where heavily armed police and National Guard were stationed, in a tense but celebratory demonstration. The 10 p.m. curfew remained in effect that night.

Tensions eased after the Friday announcement of charges against six police officers in Freddie Gray’s death.

So this clueless and over her head Mayor thinks that mere charges against the police officers are going to quell the lawlessness, really? As it was, she waited too long to put a curfew in place as she allowed the thugs and punks to overrun the city as Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake gave the police a stand down order. Over 200 businesses were lost and burned thanks to an idiot Mayor giving the rioters their space to destroy and let them loot because it was only property.

If this mayor actually thinks that Baltimore has been reunited, she is a fool. From all accounts and comments that we have heard from the protesters, the issues of Baltimore were present prior to the death of Freddie Gray and they are still present. The Mayor is just lipsticking a pig and trying to put a happy face on a bad situation that has existed for decades. There is no way the mob will be happy with charges against the police officers, they want scalps. Just curious, what happens when the police are found not guilty?

With all due respect the the politicians, both Democrat and Republican, you are going to need a lot more than prayer, peace and reflections to fix Baltimore. Your average person would not go near Baltimore because in order for you to claim it is safe, the National Guard is still present and hundreds of extra police have been called in. Also, there is still massive unemployment and a culture of dependency on government. Until that is addressed, nothing is really being done to remedy the situation.
