Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Says Medicare will help Donkeys win 2012 Majority in House, Because She was So Correct in her 2010 Prediction

Because San Fran Nan has such a great track record of predictions …

Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi claimed on CNN that Democrats would take back the House in 2012. Pelosi indicated that Medicare will be the issue that gives her back the Speaker’s gavel. Or should we say Mediscare? Democrats will do everything humanly possible to demonize the Romney/Ryan position on Medicare and the false claims that they want to destroy it.

Even though it was Barack Obama who took $750 billion from Medicare and gave it to Obamacare. However, Pelosi’s claims fall rather flat when you think back and she predicted that Democrats would retain the US House of Representatives after 2010 Midterm elections. How did that work out for ya Nancy?

House Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughed off the chances of a Mitt Romney presidency, while trumpeting the possibility that Democrats will retake the House of Representatives, during an interview aired Sunday on CNN.

Pelosi, speaking with host Candy Crowley on “State of the Union,” pointed to one issue in particular that she thinks will deliver the House to Democrats: Medicare.

“We have been saying there are three important issues in this campaign. And in alphabetical order, they are Medicare, Medicare, Medicare,” she said.

How sad that Democrats would pit the elderly against the young and frighten seniors with lies. Make no mistake about it America, Medicare/Medicaid needs to be reformed, they are going bankrupt. The Romney/Ryan plan does not affect anyone presently on Medicare or over the age of 55. That being said, Medicare needs major reforms so that it is around for present senior’s children, grand children and great grand children.

No Wonder Obama Wants to Distract from the Econnomy … Romney Takes Lead in Wisconsin and Michigan

Don’t look now Team Obama, but you appear to be losing the Mid-West.

According to recent polling data, Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan has taken the lead in the Midwest states of Wisconsin and Michigan. Could this be true? Wisconsin does not come as that much of a surprise, although it should see that Obama won Wisconsin in 2008 by double digits. So, a state that Obma won by 13% in 2008, Wisconsin is now an official swing state in 2012.  However, if Michigan is in play for Romney and they force Obama to spend money in a state that Obama won 57% to 41% in 2008.

As reported at The Hill, according to a recent PPP poll Romney edges Obama 48% to 47%. This comes in the wake of Rasmussen and CNN polls that seem to suggest the same. Check out the trending polling data toward Romney at RCP.

That’s a 7 percentage point gain for Romney, who trailed Obama 50 to 44 in the previous PPP poll, taken in July, before Rep. Ryan (R-Wis.) was added to the GOP ticket.

It’s the second consecutive survey of Wisconsin to find Romney has overtaken the president following the selection of Ryan as his running mate. A survey earlier this month from conservative-leaning polling outlet Rasmussen also gave Romney a 48-47 lead in the state.

In a new Foster McCollum White Baydoun poll, Romney now leads in Michigan. over Barack Obama 47.68% to 43.88%. According to RCP Obama still leads in Michigan, however, if Michigan is actually in play, Obama is in deep, deep trouble.

FMWB says this will be a significant blow to Democratic campaign efforts, native son Mitt Romney has climbed into the lead in Michigan’s Presidential contest. The naming of Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan has delivered a targeted affect on the Michigan and Midwest campaign dynamics. We ballot tested the Presidential candidates and we also tested the following two areas of initial campaign impact and awareness:
•Congressman Ryan’s impact on voters’ decision to vote for Mitt Romney.
•Congressman Ryan’s controversial 2012 fiscal budget plan and voters support or opposition to the plan.

It is FMWB’s conclusion that the results to these questions will help initially either validate Ryan’s selection or provide messaging for Democrats that Ryan is not acceptable to the voters. As our data outlines, currently Romney and Ryan are received positively enough to help vault Romney into the lead. Our aggregate findings for this section are as follows:

Question 1:

The 2012 United States Presidential election will be held on November 6, 2012. Who are you more likely to vote for in the election??

(Barack Obama):                                                                                  43.88%
(Mitt Romney):                                                                                     47.68%
(Another candidate):                                                                              3.96%
(Undecided):

As the Lonely Conservative states … since when has Michigan been a swing state? This appears to be the new normal for Obama in 2012. A failed four year first term that has done little to nothing to help Americans out of their economic plight and is making things worse will cause many 2008 “Hope & Change” states to shift. As Powerline commented, “All of this is as it should be, given Obama’s terrible record. I suspect that Michigan will not be the last state that unexpectedly proves competitive.”

The end result is Obama is going to have to spend millions in order to defend what many thought would have been safe “blue” states in 2012.

Brian in a Blue State.

Rep. Paul Ryan (WI-R) Was a Great Romney VP Pick … In Florida With his Mom Betty Ryan Says … “Mom, I’m proud of you for the small business you created. YOU DID BUILD THAT!!!”

Paul Ryan … he continues to be a great choice by Mitt Romney for the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate.

Yesterday, at a campaign rally in Florida at The Villages, the largest retirement community for seniors in the world. At the event Paul Ryan brought his secret weapon, his 78 year old mom Betty. Many Democrat pundits thought that Romney would keep Ryan away from the seniors and Florida because of Ryan’s plan to fix Medicare. Hardly, Ryan went straight to the swing state of Florida that is home to the greatest number of seniors in America to tell the truth of his plan. Ryan drew huge crowds at The Villages as reported by Deep Fried Manatees.

Also reported at the Orlando Sentinel, Ryan spoke to an adoring, invigorated crowd of thousands. When the truth comes out of the Romney-Ryan Medicare plan vs. Obamacare and the taking of money from the program. Ryan stated that we must fulfill the promise and the guarantee of Medicare to present seniors and reform it for the generations to follow.

A large banner sign behind him said, “Protect and strengthen Medicare,” a crucial theme of his speech to the mostly 55-plus crowd. Meanwhile, an airplane circled above the event with a banner that read “Paul Ryan: Keep Your Hands off Our Medicare.”

Ryan focused on Medicare seven minutes into his speech. He said older Americans, including his mother, have planned their retirements around the program.

“We have got to keep that guarantee,” he said.

But to save Medicare, Ryan said it must be reformed for his generation and beyond. Ryan has called on the introduction of a voucher program in which individuals can shop for coverage.

Ryan contrasted his plan to leave the program intact for current seniors with President Barack Obama’s plan, which Ryan said would take decision-making power away from seniors to a panel of 15 bureaucrats.

During Paul Ryan’s speech he wowed the crowds with the truth and honesty of his views of the fixing Medicare so that it would uphold the promise of healthcare to the present day and soon to be seniors as well as provide a choice for those under the age of 55. However, Ryan did one better, he brought his secret Medicare weapon to Florida in the form of his mom, Betty. Any honest, right thinking person knows that Ryan is not going to do something that would take Medicare away from his own mother. However, in a brilliant combination of political issues, Ryan combined the Medicare issue with the economy, jobs and small business. President Obama will rue the day he ever made the comment “you did not build it with regards to small business owners. During Ryans speach as he was honoring his mom, see video below, Paul Ryan said the following to the cheers of the crowd … “Mom, I’m proud of you for the small business you created. YOU DID BUILD THAT!!!”

Honestly, how does one even compare the two VP candidates at this point? In one corner you have the GOP superstar Paul Ryan who has been an incredibly boost the the Romney campaign and invigorated the campaign from defense to offense. In the other, you have Democrats Joe Biden who has been such a colossal screw-up and gaffe master that he has been sent by Obama to stand in the corner in a political time out.

Check out more of Ryan’s speech at RCP (VIDEO)

Paul Ryan: “We had a rule in Wisconsin. It’s kind of an unwritten rule: you turn 65; you have to go south for the winter. We call them ‘snow birds’. My mom is a snow bird. She is a Florida resident, and she lives over by Ft. Lauderdale, and she like so many people here, she comes down here for the winter—just like so many folks from all over the country do. You know, my grandma moved in with us—with my mom and me—when I was in high school. She had advanced Alzheimer’s. My mom and I were her two primary caregivers. You learn a lot about life; you learn a lot about your elderly seniors in your family; you learn a lot about Alzheimer’s. Medicare was there for our family, for my grandma, when we needed it then; and Medicare is there for my mom while she needs it now, and we have to keep that guarantee.”

GOP VP Candidate Paul Ryan to Appear With his Mom Betty at World’s Largest Retirement Community, The Villages in Florida, to Defend Medicare Plan

President Barack Obama may wish that he never decided to have a Medicare fight with GOP VP candidate Rep. Paul Ryan (WI-R). Don’t ask for things, they might come true. Ryan is about to school Obama and Democrats on his Medicare plan with a a secret weapon, his mom Betty.

Paul Ryan and his mom Betty will appear at The Villages, the largest retirement community in the world to discuss the Romney-Ryan Medicare plan. What better place to go to explain to seniors that the Romney-Ryan plan for Medicare does not affect those over the age of 55. Obama, Biden and their minions have been using typical Mediscare tactics to frighten seniors that Romney is going to take their Medicare away from them. Nothing could be further from the truth. To prove his point, Paul Ryan is bring his mom Betty to Florida this weekend. Who really thinks that Ryan is going to take Medicare away from his own mom?

Paul Ryan is headed to a Florida retirement community with his mother on Saturday to make his argument about the need to change Medicare for future generations. Ryan’s mother is in her late 70s.

He’ll appear at The Villages, the world’s largest retirement community and a conservative stronghold that is a must stop for Republican candidates. In 2008, a massive crowd of between 30,000 and 60,000 seniors came out to a rally Sarah Palin held there. Despite the Republican-leanings it’s a clear sign the Romney campaign will continue to stay on the offense on Medicare, but with this trip they may be entering the lion’s den.

Ryan’s mother, who will accompany him, can help her son connect with the senior citizen audience. She lives part of the year in Lauderdale-By-The Sea and part of the year outside of Janesville, Wisconsin.

No one, and I mean no one ever saw this one coming that Medicare would be a plus for the Romney-Ryan ticket and a negative for Obama. However, Obama and Obamacare has been pounded by the GOP that Obama took $716 billion from Medicare to fund Obamacare.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Refuses to Allow Democrat National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to Lie about the Ryan Plan on Meidcare about Changes to People 55 and Older … MSNBC Did the Same with Robert Gibbs

How bad has the lying got with Democrats … Even the liberal MSM is not allowing their lies about MEDISCARE …

For the first time in a long time, CNN had a glimpse of being the “Most Trusted Name in News.” CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in the VIDEO below refused to allow Democrat National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to lie about the Paul Ryan plan ion Medicare. Now that is breaking News!  It is on page 1 of the sleazy Democrat play book, lie about Republicans that they want to kill old people and throw them off of Medicare. However, Blitzer would have none of it and finally got Debbie “Downer” to admit that the Ryan plan on Medicare did not affect people who were 55 years of age and older. Thus, anyone presently on Medicare and to be on Medicare in the next 10 years are not affected.

I might have lost track, but in this 4-minute clip I counted 10 instances in which CNN’s Wolf Blitzer either points out, or asks DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to admit, that Paul Ryan’s Medicare reform would only affect Americans who are under the age of 55:

What would happen if all of the media actually did what their real role was and that is to make Our government responsible to the people no matter what party was in office? Could you imagine Democrats being held accountable for the words lies they spew at every turn without regard? Kinda like Debbie Wasserman Schultz having the audacity to say she had no idea what political affiliation an pro-Obama Super PAC was. Really Debbie?

The Washington Times points out that not only CNN brow beat Debbie Wasserman Schultz, but also Chuck Todd did the same thing to Roberts Gibbs on MSNBC. Wow, could the media finally realize that their credibility is on the line?  What would happen to an OBAMA-ROMNEY ticket without media bias?

Chuck Todd did the same thing to Roberts Gibbs on MSNBC after Gibbs falsely claimed the Ryan plan would kill his father. “Your father is not going to get that because they’re not going to do anything to him,” Todd correctly pointed out.

Todd and Blitzer are 100 percent correct. The Ryan budget only preserves and strengthens Medicare for those Americans that are currently receiving benefits and those that will begin to do so in the next 10 years. Only those who are 55 years or younger will be affected by the Ryan plan. And for those Americans, they will still be given a choice between the current Medicare system, and a new premium support system. In fact, Obamacare and the Ryan plan both budget the same amount of money for Medicare down the road. Both plans cap spending at the growth of domestic product +.5 percent.
