Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Says Medicare will help Donkeys win 2012 Majority in House, Because She was So Correct in her 2010 Prediction

Because San Fran Nan has such a great track record of predictions …

Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi claimed on CNN that Democrats would take back the House in 2012. Pelosi indicated that Medicare will be the issue that gives her back the Speaker’s gavel. Or should we say Mediscare? Democrats will do everything humanly possible to demonize the Romney/Ryan position on Medicare and the false claims that they want to destroy it.

Even though it was Barack Obama who took $750 billion from Medicare and gave it to Obamacare. However, Pelosi’s claims fall rather flat when you think back and she predicted that Democrats would retain the US House of Representatives after 2010 Midterm elections. How did that work out for ya Nancy?

House Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughed off the chances of a Mitt Romney presidency, while trumpeting the possibility that Democrats will retake the House of Representatives, during an interview aired Sunday on CNN.

Pelosi, speaking with host Candy Crowley on “State of the Union,” pointed to one issue in particular that she thinks will deliver the House to Democrats: Medicare.

“We have been saying there are three important issues in this campaign. And in alphabetical order, they are Medicare, Medicare, Medicare,” she said.

How sad that Democrats would pit the elderly against the young and frighten seniors with lies. Make no mistake about it America, Medicare/Medicaid needs to be reformed, they are going bankrupt. The Romney/Ryan plan does not affect anyone presently on Medicare or over the age of 55. That being said, Medicare needs major reforms so that it is around for present senior’s children, grand children and great grand children.

If the T.E.A. party and “true the vote” conservatives can prevent voter fraud or even some of it, this will make 2010 look like a beginning step. She will loose another fifty seats in the House. Ried will not longer be Senate Majority leader.

Photos of Obama and Peloski are always pointing their index finger as if a threat. The dirty lies of the Democrats continue. Why be a die-hard Democrat and cause the country more grief. We all know Obama is a liar. A communist Muslim.

SanFranNan should confine her chatter to special interest
activities with regard to her husband’s huge stock holdings
in the Samoan tuna industry arena. Perhaps she could noodle
with minimum wages and grants to help hubby out on his
(their) investments, no? Wait, has she already done this?

It’s unlikely that Dems will take the House back. They will gain a few seats but not the 25 they need. I’d say Nancy’s expressing some wishful thinking. On the other hand, Reps have to distance themself from Ryan’s unpopular budget. Considering Romney has now pretty much dismissed 47% of U.S. citizens as dead beats, they may have to distance themselves from him as well. Another day of Romney gaffes and blunders could be a game changer.

It looks like Dems have a good shot at keeping the Senate. Romney appears to be going down in flames by the hour.

SM: Actually all he said was the truth. This can completely explain why when the US has a terrible economy, +8% unemployment, 23 million either not employed or underemployed, million given up looking, record numbers on food stamps … why Obama still have a positive approval rating and attracts 45-47%. What Romney said makes all the sense in the world. Just because the truth hurts.

And although I would not say its 47%, maybe closer to 40-45%. When Obama talks about individuals paying their fair share of taxes, I would presume that means every one. The fact that it would appear that nearly 50% of Americans have become a dependent, entitled class is a fact. This is exactly why so many more people are on food stamps, welfare, extended unemployment and want free healthcare.

5 to 10% of these folks probably want to get ahead and make something of themseves. Many I fear do do.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

Romney was telling it like it is. If people don’t get off their butts and take responsibility for themselves, one day, there will be no safety net for the people who need it.

    8. Ronald J. Ward on September 18th, 2012 10:35 am

Baarbreee, Romney didn’t specify individuals but rather an entire 47%. His wording was atrociously disturbing and over the top. Not trying to be insulting, but yours falls short of logical thinking as well. I find it somewhat disturbing to say that disabled vets should be ashamed of themselves for having the audacity to think they’re entitled to not be starving in the streets that they fought to protect.

I guess after considerable investments and cost of protecting this country, I’m a bit touchy in that area. Mr Romney used disabled and retired vets as well as retired civilians in his statistics. And he went on to use them as deadbeats as they “are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them”. To claim that these are lazy people looking for handouts is a bit unsettling. And he went on to say that it wasn’t his job to be concerned of them.

Now let me be clear as you don’t know me. I’m a believer of many conservative ideologies while I’m unsure what today’s conservatives represent. They’re certainly not Eisenhower or even Reagan Republicans. To be honest, I question who they are. I’m a firm believer in the right to bear arms. I’m adamantly pro-life and have worked throughout the years in fundraisers to send students to the Washington March To Life Rallies. I’m presently working to help families attend boot camp graduation at Fort Jackson S.C.as I understand the importance of this event and the inability of so many households to do this.

I’m not trying to pat my back here but rather explain that Romney display an abject prejudiced in categorizing 47% of Americans as deadbeats. He criticizes Obama for deciding the country yet dismisses half the people with contempt. Is this leadership?

If Obama stresses during the debates that he needs the support of a WORKING house to get a jobs bill passed, voters will see what he says is true. Let the landslide begin!

Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom
(this is pre GOP of course)
