Despicable: CBS News Reporter Lara Logan Sexually Assaulted & Beaten by Group of Egyptian Men During Anti-Mubarak, Freedom Protests
PEACE AND FREEDOM???
On the very day that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, we learn that CBS’ foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the story in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes,” was separated from her news crew, surrounded by a group of men and savagely sexual assaulted and beaten. She was flown back to the United States and is in a New York hospital recovering. Little more is being said.
In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently home recovering.
In a word, sickening! Has their ever been a news event that was supposed to be based on freedom where so many journalist covering the story were put in danger and attacked? Lara Logan had earlier been detained in Egypt. I have to agree with Jammie Wearing Fool regarding … so this is how peace loving Egyptians celebrate their freedom from a dictator, with a good old fashion “gang rape” of an American female infidel.
What might be just as sickening, from NRO comes a report of the reaction to Logan’s assault from a fellow at the NYU Center for Law and Security, Nir Rosen.
But let’s just remember one thing going forward: Nir Rosen believed this was the right moment to let the world know that he “ran out of sympathy for her” and that we should “remember her role as a major war monger” and that we “have to find humor in the small things.”

Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, NC is opening their doors today to invite the public to watch a video and sign a guestbook to honor the life of Zahra Clare Baker.
This as disturbing and horrifying details about how Zahra may have died are revealed in the warrants. There is question as to how much coming out of Elisa Baker’s mouth can be believed. Few of us believe that Adam was unaware of what happened to Zahra though and most of us expect/hope he will be arrested soon.
From youtube, one of the many tributes to Zahra:

Arrest Warrant Issued WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange … Rape Allegations
Julian Assange finds himself in more trouble. Swedish prosecutors have issued an international and European arrest warrant (EAW) for WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange in connection with rape allegations. The “Red Notice” can be seen HERE. Assange denies the rape allegations and called it consensual sex. However, a Swedish Appeals court upheld the warrant. Assange’s attorney, Mark Stephens, has described the allegations as “false and without basis” and claims that the charges are a part of a smear campaign.
Interpol wanted notice for Julian Assange
The WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, is tonight facing growing legal problems around the world, with the US announcing that it was investigating whether he had violated its espionage laws.
Assange’s details were also added to Interpol’s worldwide wanted list. Dated 30 November, the entry reads: “sex crimes” and says the warrant has been issued by the international public prosecution office in Gothenburg, Sweden. “If you have any information contact your national or local police.” It reads: “Wanted: Assange, Julian Paul,” and gives his birthplace as Townsville, Australia.

Connecticut Jury Deliberates For 2nd Day in Steven Hayes Home Invasion, Rape, Murder Case (Update: Hayes Sentenced to Death)
Hey Jury, what are you thinking … PUT HIM TO DEATH!!!
A jury in Connecticut deliberates for a second day in the in the sentencing phase of the Steven Hayes home invasion case and murder case. They are deciding as to whether Hayes will be out to death or spend life in prison. The real question might be what is taking the jury so long?
Convicted Murderer Steven Hayes
A second day? What the hell is this jury thinking?Did this jury not pay attention to the heinous and brutal murders that Steven Haves was convicted of? Honestly, who the hell cares what a paid expert witness psychiatrist said regarding Hayes emotional state? Are you kidding me? The murder shocked the small town and Cheshire, CT as the crime took place in the middle of the night on July 23, 2007 and outraged a country.
Steven Hayes was convicted last month of killing a Cheshire woman and her two daughters in 2007.
Dr. Petit, left, with his daughters Michaela, front, Hayley, center rear, and his wife, Jennifer Hawke-Petit. His wife and two daughters were killed during a home invasion in Cheshire, CT in 2007.
The New Haven jury weighed Hayes’ sentence for a second day Saturday, at one point asking to hear some of the testimony from a psychiatrist who said Hayes was in an extreme emotional state triggered after another man also charged in the case.
If there was ever a shut and cut case of giving some one a needle, in fact give him two, it would be the Steven Hayes case. This POS was convicted, along with his accomplice Joshua Komisarjevsky, of sexually assaulting and strangling Jennifer Hawke-Petit, pouring gasoline on her two daughters and setting their house on fire.
Take a good read of how the mom and two daughters were raped and murdered and ask yourself when this oiece of grabage should be be put to death.
Authorities said Komisarjevsky spotted the mother and two daughters at a grocery store, followed them home and returned later with Hayes.
They beat the girl’s father (who managed to escape after being tied to a pole in the basement) and forced Hawke-Petit to take out money from a bank before raping and choking her to death.
The men then tied the daughters to a bed, placed pillow covers over their heads and poured gasoline on them before setting the house on fire, authorities added. Both girls died from smoke inhalation, and one of the daughters was sexually assaulted.
UPDATE I: Steven Hayes Sentenced to DEATH!!!
Rapist and murderer Steven Hayes has been sentenced to death on 6 separate counts, and the judge accepts the verdicts. Was there any other sentence that could have been given? If not, there is no reason to have the death penalty in CT.

An Inconvenient Truth: Dutch filmmaker Paul Ruven Making Movie about Joran Van der Sloot and Death & Disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba
An ‘”Inconvenient Truth” for Dutch filmmaker Paul Ruven … Joran Van der Sloot killed again!
Let the filmmaker make the movie and bring attention to the Natalee Holloway case again. It will also bring about a backlash against Aruba and himself if he blames the victim and provides cover for what obviously took place.
An “Inconvenient Truth” for all who blamed the victim Natalee Holloway, Joran Van der Sloot killed Again
Natalee Holloway has been missing since May 2005 in Aruba when she disappeared without a trace after leaving Carlos N’ Charlies with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. The disappearance and death of the 18 year old Mountainbrook, AL teen has been attributed to Van der Sloot and the Kalpoe’s by all rational people. Unfortunately, the Aruba police and powers that be managed to cover up the crime from the outset through cronyism and corruption to save their precious tourism.
Now, comes Dutch filmmaker Paul Ruven who claims he is making a film about the Natalee Holloway case as he searches for the truth. Really? The film claims to hold no punches on any of the individuals involved including Joran Van der Sloot, Aruban police, government or the victims family. One does have to question why any one would take the approach of smearing the Holloway family as a way of so-called finding the truth as to what happened.
A Dutch film director is making a film about Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch national who was recently arrested and charged with the murder of a young woman in Peru. Mr Van der Sloot was also the prime suspect in the case of US teenager Natalee Holloway who disappeared while on holiday on the Caribbean island of Aruba in 2005. The film which is due out next year suggests the Holloway case stinks.
According to the film’s director Paul Ruven, we still don’t know what happened to Ms Holloway because all the parties concerned are putting their own interests first. The film asks why her body still hasn’t been found and why Van der Sloothasnever been convicted of any crime. It doesn’t deal with the murder of the 21-year-old Stephany Flores in Peru on 31 May this year. Van der Sloot is currently in custody in Lima awaiting trial over her murder.
Ruven claims to pull no punches and searches for the truth … yet has no issue in blaming the victim for her own demise. NICE. I guess it was quite inconvenient for Ruven what while blaming Natalee Holloway in her own death and disappearance in Aruba by making such allegations that she was on cocaine and chasing boys that Joran Van der sloot killed again in Peru. Hmm? Such a revelation kind of puts a crimp in the narrative of the missing Natalee Holloway now doesn’t it sir? Who would have thought while you were making one film that one of your main characters would kill again in Peru? Joran Van der Sloot has been charged in the death of Stephany Flores in Peru in which many of the events seem hauntingly similar to the death of Natalee Holloway five years to the day.
