Bad Polling News for Obama … Battleground Tracking Poll Shows Democrats Less Enthusiastic than Republicans

It would seem that Democrats are tired of being tired and out of work …

In a close political race, the election will be determined on turn out and according to battleground poll, Republicans are much more enthusiastic that Democrats.

Democrats have a severe enthusiasm issue when it comes to the upcoming Presidential election. According to a new Politico/George Washington University poll, of likely voters only 73% who support Barack Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, as compared to 86% who back Romney. Making matters worse for Obama, 84% of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, as compared to 76% of Democrats.

A new POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Tracking Poll [polling date HERE] of likely voters shows Obama ahead of Mitt Romney 49 percent to 48 percent nationally, a statistical tie and a percentage point closer than a week ago.

The head-to-head numbers have held remarkably steady through the past three weeks, but there’s been a notable shift of intensity from the Democrats to the Republicans since the party conventions over a month ago. Most of the poll’s calls were made before Romney’s strong performance at the first presidential debate in Denver.

Only 73 percent who support Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, compared to 86 percent who back Romney. Likewise, 84 percent of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, compared to 76 percent of Democrats.

Among those extremely likely to vote, Romney actually leads Obama 52 percent to 46 percent. That’s up from a 2-point lead last week. Obama led 50 percent to 47 percent among this group three weeks ago.

Who can honestly say that this is surprising? Why would anyone be enthusiastic about what has happened the past 4 years under Obama? Does America really want four more years of record food stamps, record federal deficits, a +$16 trillion debt, failed job growth, a real unemployment that is in the mid to high teens and a 30 year low employment participation rate?

How does a Democrat get jazzed about a Presidency where even Obama did not care enough to prepare for a presidential debate and turned in such an epic failure of a performance that it is going down by many as one of the worse ever? Hope and Change is gone and has been replaced by one of the most negative campaigns ever. The Obama message has gone from “Hope” to Romney lied with no explanation what Obama will do in the next four years. The GOP had Bush fatigue after 8 years, it would seem that Democrats have done the same after four exhausting Obama years.

The Un-Serious President … Obama Gets an F on Debate and Now Makes Fun of his Debate Performance

Once again we are provided with a Comedian in Chief, not a President …

President Barack Obama, what a joke. Not only did Barack Obama fail miserably in his debate performance, looking clueless, without facts and bringing nothing to the table … Obama is now making a joke out of it. Really Mr. President? America expects a serious candidate for President and you have proved you are not it.

The jokes been on you America for the past 4 years

Just curious, what kid get an “F” on a math test and then makes fun of his test score? What business person completely bombs in the board room trying to convince others that their presentation is the one to go with and then jokes about it later? The answer is no one. No one, except President Obama as he makes a joke about his debate performance after his minions have blamed every one but George W. Bush for his poor performance.

From The Politico:

Now even President Obama is making fun of his Denver debate performance.

Speaking to a concert crowd at the Nokia Theater here, Obama said the musical acts that performed for his campaign – the likes of Katy Perry, Earth, Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder, among others – “just perform flawlessly, night after night.”

A beat passed. Then the president made himself the punch line.

“I can’t always say the same,” he said.

Rather interesting comments from Obama, because the far LEFT and Obama’s base hardly found Obama’s debate performance a laughing matter.

Also, not the smartest thing to do when 70 million people watched the debate, not counting those who viewed it on CSPAN, PBS or the Internet.

Now Democrats Blame John “Lurch” Kerry for President Obama’s Poor Debate Against Romney

Because it just could never be Obama’s fault … has this guy ever taken responsibility for anything?

Good grief, the excuses are piling up as to who is to blame for Barack Obama’s poor Presidential debate performance in Denver, CO. Democrats are now blaming John Kerry, the person who was playing Romney in debate prep for Obama. They are saying that since he wants to be Secretary of State, Lurch did n;t want to get in Obama’s face. These folks are delusional. i would blame Team Obama, who on earth would use John Kerry as debate prep, an individual who lost to GWB in a debate.

Throw another one under the Obama Bus

So far Democrats have blamed the following:

  1. The moderator Jim Lehrer
  2. The altitude
  3. Romney
  4. SNL blamed Michelle Obama’s anniversary gift

Come on Dems, we all know you are just dying to say that Barack Obama’s poor debate performance was George W. Bush’s fault. You know you want to.

Joe Biden “the Gifted Orator” Takes 6 Days Off Campaign Trail for Debate Prep … More Like So No Gaffes Occur to Provide Debate Material … SNL Gets it Right … It’s Up to Biden to get the Lead Back

Does Obama’s Hopes for Reelection rest upon the “gifted orator” gaffe machine, Joe Biden?

Vice President Joe Biden takes nearly a week off to prep for the VP debates on Thursday, October 11. Let’s be serious, Biden is taking the week off prior to the debate so not to provide any more gaffes that GOP Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan can use against Biden. But do not fret, Biden has already made enough gaffes during the 2012 campaign season to be used as fodder.

With just about a month until Election Day, Vice President Joe Biden is in the middle of taking nearly a week off the campaign trail. He will return to doing campaign events on Thursday, when he will debate Rep. Paul Ryan in the vice presidential debate.

As for the next three days, Biden will remain in Delaware. “On Monday through Wednesday, the Vice President will be in Wilmington, Delaware. There are no public events scheduled.”

Meanwhile, Thursday, October 11, is a big day for Biden. “On Thursday, the Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will travel to Danville, Kentucky. In the evening, the Vice President will participate in the Vice Presidential Debate at Centre College. Dr. Biden will also attend. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.”

As reported at The Gateway Pundit, RNC Chair Reince Priebus deviled a nice under-handed compliment to Biden on Fox News this morning,  “I expect Joe Biden to do a good job. He’s been debating since the early 1900?s. He’s done about 18 debates already… Joe Biden’s going to have to deliver big time based on the debate Barack Obama put on the board last Wednesday.” Ouch, that’s going to leave a mark.

OK, I am going to have to throw a penalty flag on Priebus. I am also going to call out Priebus for one comment that he made in that Joe Biden is a “gifted orator”. HUH? Really Reince give me a break. Enough of this setting the bar low of  expectations. I expect Paul Ryan to be brilliant, have a command of the facts, the issues and lay out the Romney/Ryan plan for America. I expect Joe Biden to spin yarns of folksy nonsense. No one is tuning in for this debate to see the “Great Orator” Joe Biden. America will be watching to see if Biden shows up to the correct state where the debate is taking place, whether he praises any people of Indian decent in the audience for owning a Dunkin Donuts, or whether he compliments the moderator stating that was a good “F’n” question. Because make no mistake about it, Ryan is going to make reference that the “middle class has been buried the past 4 years”.

“I think people realize that Joe Biden is a gifted orator. He’s very good at rhetoric. And I think he’s very relatable,” Priebus said on CNN’s ‘State of the Union.’

I have to agree with The Other McCain 100%, it is ludicrous and shameful to think that Biden is a distinguished debtor or orator. The man is only known for his miscues when he speaks, not his speeches. America is setting their DVR’s to record the gaffes, not Biden’s vision for America. A debate, no teleprompters, and no prepared speech, this is what Bides gafftastic dreams are made of.

However, what is most amazing about all of this is that Obama’s reelection hopes could actually hinge on Biden. Because Obama bombed so badly in his Presidential debate in Denver, CO against Romney … the pressure is on Biden to stop the bleeding. How frightening must that be for Team Reelect Obama? Check out the SNL VIDEO below of Seth Meyers “Winner and Loser” at the 1:52 mark where Seth states, “BIGGEST WINNER, America … Is there anything more exciting than Joe Biden thinking it is up to him to get the lead back. IT’S TEVO TIME. There is like a 50% chance he is going to come out for the next debate with his shirt off.”
