From Fox News Big Story October 9th, 2005 comes a rather disturbing revelation that should make everyone sit up, take notice and scratch their collective heads. There has been much debate by many as to whether Beth Twitty had been telling the truth or embellishing it as per her statement, “Forensics were never done at the primary residence of the Van der Sloot home“. Many questioned her motives as to this statement and wondered how this could be when the main stream media had reported that items were seized from the home. Such articles were written by the AP in Boston Globe stating the home was searched:
NOORD, Aruba –Authorities Wednesday searched the home of a high-ranking Dutch judicial official whose son was with an Alabama honors student the night she disappeared. Police carried away the results of their search in several garbage bags and towed two cars.
Wednesday’s search of the van der Sloot home lasted about four hours. Two white-uniformed investigators from Holland carried suitcases into the one-story, yellow-beige home, which includes an attached apartment where the young man lives. They later returned the suitcases to their white, unmarked car.
Investigators also emerged from the house carrying two white plastic garbage bags full of unidentified items. A German Shepherd also sniffed around the property outside the capital, Oranjestad.

A forensics specialist, dressed in a white suit, wipes his face as he stands with investigators during a search at the home of the 17-year-old Dutch boy who is being held in connection with the disappearance of Alabama high school graduate Natalee Holloway on May 30, in Montana, Aruba, Wednesday, June 15, 2005.
Now last night some four and a half months later after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway we learn from Deputy Police Chief, Dompig, in Aruba in charge of the investigation, that the Van der Sloot home was never searched. The primary home of the suspect, Joran Van der Sloot was never searched. Even after Paul Van der Sloot was arrested as a suspect the home was not searched.
Reporter: Okay, let me ask you about the search of Joran Van der Sloot house. Apparently this kid lived in an apartment that was connected to or sort of adjacent to his parents house.
Dompig: That is correct
Reporter: And the police only searched his apartment, deputy chief?
Dompig: That is correct. The fact is that we as a law enforcement agency always try to get the maximum. Meaning that we want to search as much places as possible. We were not granted by the judge a search warrant for the complete house, we only received the warrant for the apartment.
Reporter: But what about after Paul Van der Sloot was arrested, couldn’t you get a warrant to search the house then?
Dompig: It was also denied, we were a bit disappointed with that. The judge was coming from another island I must point out. He said we didn’t make a good enough case to get a warrant.
Two suspects live at the same address, have access to all enclosures on the property and the property itself and the primary residence was never searched? Are any rational and reasonable people not to believe that Joran let alone Paul Van der Sloot did not have or did not enter the primary residence at any time from the point of which Natalee Holloway went missing to the time they were questioned and charged as being suspects? Beth Twitty was correct in her statement. One that many condemned her for stating she was grand standing to the media. Looks like they were wrong.
People in Aruba, the Aruban government and the Task Force (ArubaTruth) wonder why many are so skeptical and critical of the investigation? They wonder why the media questions and is critical? They blame it on an over-zealous media the problems that exist today. One might say that the media may not have asked enough questions. How on earth is it possible to find out over 4 months later that the primary residence was not searched of a suspect that was in prison for 3 months over the summer? There are actually two trains of thought here. Either one can be imprisoned in Aruba for no reason as there is not enough evidence to even get a search warrant for their entire home which should scare the day lights out of all Aruba’s. The other is that a suspect who was last seen with Natalee Holloway and has changed his story some how is above having his home searched. They certainly searched the two security guard’s homes and that of the Kalpoe brothers. What makes Joran Van der Sloot so special?
Some one has some serious explaining to do.
Is it any wonder that with this information about to come out over the weekend by Dompig that the Prosecutor’s office released the statement they did on Friday?
The investigation continues and the team is searching for new leads that may help solve this case. At the same time, the investigation that has been done until now is being revised and evaluated.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office does not have to justify its actions with regards to the prosecution of criminal acts to the Minister of Justice or the Government of Aruba.
If a concerned party in a criminal case, for example somebody who has filed a complaint with the police, is of the opinion that the investigation is not being done or not being done in a reasonable amount of time, this person can file a complaint with the Common Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.
Pretty convenient timing by The Aruba Prosecutor’s Office. One wonders what was ever put as the reasoning as to why this property needed to be searched? A rather interesting comment by Dompig was the one that he inferred about the Judge ruling on the warrant.

Whether one believes that Joran and or Paul Van der Sloot had anything to do directly, indirectly or not at all with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway; there is something seriously wrong with a suspects home (the entire property) not being searched. Maybe the correct follow up question in the interview should have been, what do you mean “the judge was coming from another island I must point out”? Why should that make a difference? This should have been the most simple search warrant to obtain, instead it is called by Dompig something “on our wish list”.
There really are no words for this.

Joining us tonight to talk about that is the deputy police chief in Aruba, G Dompig. Let me start with that tape of DK that is just disturbing. Whether he is involved in her disappearance or not for him to be talking about her in that way, suggests a callousness to her death or disappearance. What is your reaction to hearing that?
Dompig: Well, we are just as concerned about that as you are. It is very important to us to get our hands on that tape. That is why right after the Dr. Phil show, we requested formally, officially to get the tapes. We would like the original tapes to make sure that they were not altered. After waiting almost a week, we got an answer from the Dr. Phil show that they would be willing to hand over the tapes only on the show. As a serious investigative agency, we cannot cooperate with that.

To Beth Twitty. A letter is on its way to Mountain Brook High School addressed to you. Please do not fault what you read. In my opinion I’m only attempting to read past the Aruban comments and try to help locate Natalee. I believe that was your mission on May31st.
More information to support that The judge is and was contributing to the Cover-Up and Corruption.
It’s old news that the main residents was not searched. They had 10 days to clean Joran’s place,
to make sure no evidence would be found.
More and more evidence of corruption & a coverup at all levels of the investigation.
I have written all the Cruise Ship Companies to support a boycott that the Government of Aruba
most certainly deserves. I can only hope they will follow my request.
There are other Islands just as beautiful as Aruba, I encourage all Americans to find one & help
support the boycott of Aruba, in the name of Natalee.
Altho I’ve been reading the articles and posts here…I have not been posting. But to this article I wanted to reply…can people who keep posting that Beth is making up her own truths now understand that maybe Beth has different information than is widely believed and whether she states it clearly or not…makes it no less the truth?

You know, coupled with this article and all the LIES from Joran, Kalpoes, Van Der Sloot, and the government…how could anyone in America possibly turn the tables on Beth at this point?
This “turning of the tables” disturbs me greatly, as I see it as propaganda right out of Aruba. Please, America, do not play into the hands of the Aruban “cover up”…the mainstay of this case is in the fact that the main suspects were given several weeks to cover up and destroy any evidence of Natalee. They were the last to be seen with Natalee,and they know more than they are saying. Even, Joran himself said basically…he would tell more later but not right now. It is an outrage that Joran, the main suspect in Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, has this luxury of time. No suspect in America would be given this kind of luxury!
I support the boycott of Aruba, this is all a big cover up. I will never visit that Island again.

Beth has every reason to be disgusted with Aruba and the Dutch if they didn’t search the judge’s home. I am disgusted, so, I can’t imagine what she feels. At least Chief Inspector Dompig was willing to discuss this. Maybe this is a good sign, that the new polis chief is willing to go on a major show, answer questions, and admit some of Beth’s most troubling complaints. I still have hope that this case will be solved, so, y’all, don’t be too depressed.
Beth and Dave, and their families, have too many millions of people praying for them for God to ot facillitate all our prayers. Keep the faith and HOPE FOR NATALEE.
As far as the Dr. Phil tape, I worry that he used Beth. Not that it didn’t help keep Natalee’s cause alive, during a lull, but, if that tape was not genuine, or tampered with, then, it could hurt the credibility of the case. Unfortunately, many will blame Beth, but, I know all she wants is her daughter. If that tape is never turned over, at least to the FBI, Quanitco, for their validation, and then offered to Aruba to try to rearrest the suspects, then, I hope we boycott Phil McGraw, but, remember to support Beth. She is doing an amazing job. Shame on Phil for not turning over any copies, if that’s the case.

Gee, ya know…..for me, Papa Vandersloot was just a little too well-connected with the Judge that declined permission for “HIS” home to be searched…I also have a hard time believing some of what the three suspects have said. I think this case will be solved, but we need a body….old news, I know. What a shame! I think until someone comes forward with a bombshell, or Joran messes up again, we may never know where the body is. Everyone who is speaking unfavorably about Beth Twitty needs to seriously put themselves in her shoes. The prosecutors and the Aruban Prime Minister may realize someday just how bad the “mistakes made in the case” were when they look at the Island’s tourist income records in the next two years…this will be a black mark on that Island forever….that Island will be cursed until justice is served. Aruban law is sooo darn different than ours….in summary I guess no matter what “evidence” is found, the Judges in Aruba will say it’s all inadmissable anyway….maybe if someone drops the body through the roof and on to the prime ministers desk, they will see the light…..

I see that according to yesterdays Chicago SunTimes, that travel to Aruba is UP this year, over last. So this boycott – not working! Give it up. I still think the mystery of Natalee is with the students on the trip.

Deputy Dompig of Aruba said on Fox a few nights ago that a search warrant for the Paulus Van der Sloot home was on his “WISH LIST”. Beth is exactly right, eventhough items were taken from his home they were not tested for Natalee’s DNA, nor searched by dogs and even more morbid they were taken so they would never appear in court or anywhere! With all the evidence we publicy know that is out there, nothing has been presented in court.
Why does Dan Rheil so vehemently dispute Beth Twitty? What is his agenda pertaining to this case?

I viewed the Evidentiary-Review, and I was thinking about what Beth was saying that Paulus Van der Sloot was involved in Natalee’s disappearance. In my opinion it is possible that Joran and his friends were told to kidnap young girls and take them to the Lion’s Den, where anyone, even public officials can interact with them, and that is putting it mildly. If this is true, there is no one on the Island that will investigate. Maybe Beth can get something done with an International Lawyer.
You wonder, with all the information thats out there, no wonder Beth and her family are given the run-a-round, this is very erie, who will it take to get this big mess, uncovered.!! well, did anyoen ever doubt that apulus was at the heart of all of this? His actions have told me that he is more guilty than anyone in this case and that they know Natalee is dead. He looked like a murderer when he ran to his car. I am very convinced that Aruba is not the idyllic tropical paradise, as it was formerly touted. This may have been the case at one time. But under the nose of native Arubans, corruption has sneaked in and consumed the island for its own. It happened gradually, but it did happen! Tourists concerned with their safety will find another tropical retreat to replace the once safe Aruba. Sadly for native Arubans, they may never be able to take back their homeland!

Those who have followed this case closely will recall that even Equisearch said that the father’s home was not searched by the police, when asked, permission denied, and Paul vd S was allowed to dictate through his buddies at the police station and court house what would be searched and what would not. This whole thing stinks of conspiracy, complicity, and corruption.
I wonder whether this guy’s coming forward signifies that the police themselves are suspicious of what happened in the “investigation” … and now that Van der Stratten is out of the case, they want to distance themselves from any fallout that might sweep the Aruban political world once Natalee’s fate becomes known.
What is now before us is not if you or I would be safe in Aruba today. What is before us is the question of the moral and ethical values of the people of North America. I have detailed out what Aruba is: A place selling itself as completely anti moral. The main conduit for drugs entering the Eastern half of North America and a major conduit for Europe. It is where the money is laundered. It is where rape is not investigated by the police and where the people in charge are on the take from the drug lords. The people of Aruba are all complacent. They have done nothing, they will do nothing and we must accept that this sham of an investigation (really a cover up) is probably typical of Aruba. Any North American that goes there becomes complacent to its evil and an active participant in it by giving it cover.
Anyone remember that the Aruba government at first resisted asking the FBI to step in … their comment was that it wasn’t necessary, and that the case would be solved in a week ….

I totally support a Boycott of Aruba and will encourage all my friends and family to do the same. I wish there was more that I could do to help Natalee’s family. This has got to be so frustrating and heartbreaking for them!

Yes that site for the California private investigation team was taken down after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time….I did view that site…..it was very interesting. I wonder why those “clubs” were not investigated by the Aruban Police earlier. Hmmm, are those clubs the places where Freddie, Joran, & the pimp crew take their dates? Makes you wonder….Remember, around the same time that Katrina hit, it seemed the Aruban Police had blown the case wide open with some statements about “Freddie” making dvds of girls…..hmmm, could Natalee have been filmed on a dvd at one of those “clubs”?
it seems the private investigators from CA have uncovered some interesting stuff….from that site that was taken down yesterday. I am glad I got to read their account of what happened in Sept. 2005 when they approached a couple of “clubs” off the beaten path in Aruba that nobody wants to talk about.
I will freely admit that I have believed from quite early on that there was a strong effort to cover-up and obstruct the prosecution of this case. It has taken me a long time to accept that not only were these efforts ongoing, but that they have been quite successful.
So successful that a lot of individuals, both in the general public and also in the “blogsphere” have the firm opinion that there is absolutely no reason that Joran or any of the other defendants should have ever been arrested or held on any charges. There are lots of people who believe that Natalee ran away, that she conspired in her own dissappearance, etc. Or that if foul play did take place, that the three had nothing to do with it. You can see this POV on many blogs, and posted in many forums. It is all very depressing to me, and I can only imagine what this must feel like to the members of Natalees family.
People, the signs are all there for anyone to see who wants to see them. This is a travesty of justice of the very first rank, and it is sickening to see it succeed as it has, so far. There is absolutely no reason to believe that Beth Holloway would fabricate the things that she has spoken about, and yet that opinion is heard over and over again.
Thank God for Scared Monkeys, one of the few sites which has kept the faith in all of this.

why can’t they just admit that they are no better than any other group of people in the world. their judiciary is malignant with a cancer, cut it out, prosecute this case like it should be in front of a new set of judges and put these criminals away. natalee deserves at least that much.
the investigators site had the photos and narrated history of the rave club they believe joran took natalie to, the ones that shango referred to in the blogs in code. It was done methodically picture and phrase step by step . it included pictures of the two ships (pleasure crafts) used by the clubs participants , it also showed where they were moored. The investigator cronolized each step and proved so by the photos includeing the addresses shown for the rave club. When the investigators walked up thier driveway alarms went off, and someone came out to ask what they were doing there. It also showed the proximity in photos to C&c, the rave club and VDsloots residence, and to the end of the dock where the party boats were moored. About 1mile if my memory serves me right. It also cronolised date and times and spoke of young 14 yr old entering this closed to the public site and shortly there after a man with video equipment going in. Later it had mention the young girls coming out with videotapes with them I saw them post on Nats blogs on friday and saturday S.L.

I hope that this is not just another grand attempt at lip service by the Aruban officials. We have had enough nonsense. We want the truth the whole truth and justice to be served against any and all involved in this coverup rape and dissapearance of Natalee Holloway. We also want the lies and maliciousness against the Holloway and Twitty family to stop. Especially where Beth is concerned. She has no reason to lie or exaggerate anything she has spoken of. It is the truth. Lieing would hamper her credibility and subsequently her search efforts for Natalee. This has been the most indecent treatment of this fine woman who’s only goal is to recover her daughter. All mothers out there should be like BHT, what a wonderful and loving example of a mother who will stop at nothing to find her daughter. Maybe arubans and those disqusting few who have exploited NH should clean up their act and come clean. Worry about finding out the truth instead of island tourism’s image. Image is nothing if this is not solved properly. Only then can you go back to your happy island image. I have read several posts asking why Beth keeps making statments that have not been proven. For example that Joran has an 1/2 brother that is involved, that Joran and the Kaploes gave Nat a date rape drug, ect. This is a calculated ploy to get Joran or his father or the Kalpoes to sue her for libel. If she is sued for libel by one of them then it will start the affidavits and court involvement. She is trying to provoke them into suing her. Joran’s lawyer father knows this and it is why she has not been slapped with a lawsuit.
