Although, the posts do not merit comment, the attitude does, for tthe Dutch people (or those who are claiming to be Dutch) need to realize just what impression they are giving of their country. First of all, this board is about a missing young woman, not about venting your jealous rage about the US, nor your political views. Your manners are atrocious. I am appalled, however, I am also stunned. Up til now the few Dutch people I had met had seemed ok. However, you “bloggers” (or should I say trolls) are the sickest, most perverted people I have ever come across in my life! Before you speak you should think about the image of your country that you are putting forth. So far, it has been a VERY ugly one. Frankly, I’m not TOO concerned about what image you have construed about my country, nor do I contest some of your points. However, the facts in this case are: Two Dutch nationals have been arrested as prime suspects in the disappearance and probably murder of a missing young lady. There are many indications that she may have been drugged. If she willingly got into a car (which looked like a taxi), it was NOT with total strangers. The Arubans taut how safe their country is, then blame someone for getting in a car with their “safe” citizens! How hypocritical. Yes, the upbringing or better said, LACK of upbringing and restraints put on Joran (yes, the liberal Dutch attitude of the parents) has obviously contributed greatly to this whole sad affair. Now, just be good little Dutch, accept the fact that something is wrong in the land of the Dutch. Get busy fixing it! What’s wrong? 1) Permissive lifestyle where perversion is a way of life and is taught to the young kids. 2) Sending corrupt judges to their “Colonies”. However, I would remind you that even the lowest prostitute (of which it appears there are many in Holland) has not lost his/her rights. NO ONE deserves what happened to Natalee. Natalee was a brilliant, highly achieving young lady. Her morals have not been brought into question. It may interest you to know, however, that in the South, people are known to be friendly and outgoing. However, it would be “provincial and ignorant” for someone to mistake friendliness for anything else.

The Justice department of the Dutch Kingdom (including the one from Aruba) is different from the one of USA. You may find this on Aruba totally strange, but there are some facts to remember:

- During ANY investigation only a few facts will be published to public.
- Every suspect is innocent UNTIL proven otherwise.
- Clear Pictures of suspects are NOT allowed.
- Every suspect has the right for an attorney.
- We do NOT have Republic or Democratic judges. A judge is NEVER related to politics.
At THIS very moment, one of our most famous soccer players (Robin van Persie @ http://edition.cnn.com/2005/SPORT/football/06/16/arsenal.vanpersie.reut/index.html) is held in custody for raping an 21 year old girl. Everyone knows this soccer player who plays in the UK. And as stated earlier, only a few fact are brought to the media (officially we still do not know the name of this girl). During investigation, there are NO comments on this rape and his attorney is the ONLY one who may visit him in jail. We do not have a situation like the Michael Jackson trial. Cameras in court are rare.
