Democrats Whining & Attacking Pollster Scott Rasmussen as to Why America Against Democrat Agenda … That’s Your Plan?

Hey Dems, how about some brie with that whine?

wine-and-cheese1

Sorry Democrats, Liberals and Moonbats … you can whine all you want and rip Independent pollster Scott Rasmussen all you want. The fact of the matter is year in and year out he is the best and most accurate in the business. Funny how Rasmussen nailed the two 2009 VA and NJ Governor races in his polling, see below.

Just out of curiosity to the LEFT, what part about these CNN, NBC/Wallstreet and Washington Post/ABC polls don’t you quite understand that show a positive polling rating for Obama?

dem_party_seal

Rasmussen’s polling is mean

What a brilliant political strategy, attack the messenger of the polling data. We are supposed to believe that Rasmussen’s polling is the reason why American’s are rejecting Obama’s and the Democrats liberal agenda.? How much denial are Democrats truly in? You people are in a rude awakening come the 2010 midterms.

So Democrats are attacking Rasmussen, good grief. Democrats cannot believe that there are poll numbers out there that do not paint Obama is a glowing light. Really? Have you looked at the other polls lately? Have you taken a look at the Real Clear Politics average job approval poll from when Obama first took office?

Of course Obama and Democrats poor polling numbers have nothing to do with a motivated and energized “We the People” known as the Tea Party movement who are tired of the Democrat controlled Presidency, House and Senate and the 10% unemployment, record federal debt, out of control spending, government take over of health care and weak foreign policy.

They would like to have people believe that Rasmussen’s poll models are flawed. The fact is that they do not like the poll results that are then repeated in the media. It’s the Democrat playbook 101, when you don’t like the results or what people are saying … attack their credibility. Democrats, your act is tired and lame.

What part about the Rasmussen Report has to do with this CNN & Gallup poll stating that Barack Obama’s poll numbers are sinking like a rock and Sarah Palin’s are on the rise?

CRY ME A RIVER!

Democrats are turning their fire on Scott Rasmussen, the prolific independent pollster whose surveys on elections, President Obama’s popularity and a host of other issues are surfacing in the media with increasing frequency.

The pointed attacks reflect a hardening conventional wisdom among prominent liberal bloggers and many Democrats that Rasmussen Reports polls are, at best, the result of a flawed polling model and, at worst, designed to undermine Democratic politicians and the party’s national agenda.

What would one expect from liberal propaganda sites like Media Matters, the Daily Kos and Huffington Post? Anything that does not spew their liberal agenda and skew numbers to the advantage of politicians or policy that they support are going to be labeled Republican or Fox News-like.

obama_monthly_approval_index_december_2009

So sorry that you do not like the polling facts that Obama is a colossal epic failure. Obama has squandered his once high “Hope & Chage” approval rating. Last time I checked the LEFT was none to happy with him either. Barack Obama’s approval ratings have gone down in every poll nationwide. However, one must remember that Rasmussen polls “likely voters” not just every sap who answers a phone.

So what do Democrats have against likely voters? Hmm?

For all the complaining about Rasmussen by Democrats, please provide when he has been really wrong? The fact is Democrats cannot tell you. They are, however, quick to say some one is doing something wrong with no facts to back it up. More liberal whining as follows:

On Saturday, Dec. 26, for example, Rasmussen’s daily tracking had Obama’s approval at 44 percent, with a disapproval figure of 56 percent. A Real Clear Politics compilation of other pollsters, meanwhile, showed Obama with an average approval figure of 49.5 percent and disapproval of 45.1 percent.

“He’s been underpolling Obama all year,” said Boehlert. “People start thinking, ‘There’s something going on here.’”

Good grief people, just stop crying and maybe have your socialist President actually do something that goes along with the will of the majority of the people? What a novel concept.

Look, Gallup poll has Obama at 47% job approval, that damn Rasmussen. Hmm, more non-Rasmussen polls showing Obama with poor job approval numbers.

What is Scott Rasmussen so far off on when it comes to Democrats and Obama? Every poll across the board has Obama’s job approval down. Every poll shows that Americans are strongly against Obamacare. No one, even the most bias Obama drinking Kool-aid folks think The One deserves a B+ for his first year efforts.

Do Democrats really think that Nebraska Democrat Senator Ben Nelson is not in real reelection trouble in the Corn Husker state?

Do you honestly think that a majority of Americans want GITMO prisoners sent to the US and tried here? Look at this, it is a CBS poll that says that by a 65% to 30% margin against transfer of terrorists to American soil. Say it isn’t so … a non-Rasmussen poll against an Obama policy.

Do you honestly think that Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is not in serious trouble and going to lose in 2010? Reid is basically making Obamacare his suicide swan song? Look at this, more non-Rasmussen polling with terrible news for Harry Reid and Democrats.

However, this is one of my favorite Rasmussen/Obama polls … Buyers Remorse: Presidential Election Mulligan … If Vote was Held Today, Obama 45% Say Yes, 49% Say No.

EXIT FACTS: So Dems think that Rasmussen’s numbers are skewed, eh? Let’s take a look at the recent Governor races in Virgina and New Jersey.

In the final polls leading up to the off year governor election in VA, Rasmussen had McDonnell up by 13% and CNN has him up by 6% over Deeds. Republican Bob McDonnell won by 17% over Democrat R. Creigh Deeds. Result looks a lot like Rasmussen’s polling doesn’t it?

In New Jersey one week to go before the election, Rasmussen had  Republican Christie at 46% and Democrat Corzine at 43%. Chris Christie won the NJ Governors race over Corzine with 48.8% of the vote to Corzine’s 44.6%. Looks an awful lot like the projected Rasmussen polling of 3% doesn’t it?

Attacking a pollster and trying to discredit Rasmussen is a losing proposition.

Dems know there own internal polling is damning.

Funny that they had no issue with Rasmussen when Obama had a 65% approval rating and +30 Presidental Daily Tracking Index.

      http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_history

Rasmussen also polled early last year that Dems were ahead (+6) of Republicans in Congressional Generic ballot.

      http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/generic_congressional_ballot

So Democrats just don’t like it when they are behind in the polls, not because of anything that Rasmussen is doing.

National polls aren’t all that useful in a mid-term election years. The polls that count are the local and state polls in swing districts with large numbers of independents. The Dems should focus on reminding voters of that reality rather than useless national polls put out there to sway more dumber voters. The Dems slumping numbers have just as much to do with disilllusion on the Left as dissatisfaction in the middle. The Right is irrelevent. Obama passed a larger tax cut this year than Bush ever did in one year and not a single voice from the Right has praised him for it. So no matter what Obama does, the Right will always be against him. Obama and the Dems have an ace in the hole for next year, however – the Recovery Act money. There’s a very good reason that money hasn’t been spent yet – they’re waiting for later this year. The fact is that Keynesian stimulus does work (see WWII), and so Obama and the Dems intentionally held back on the spending until the mid-term year, knowing full well that the American people have the attention and memory spans of five year olds with ADHD and so would start blaming the them for the abject disaster the laizzez faire Republicans left them with in no time at all. By releasing the spending this year, unemployment will drop, credit will loosen as demand rises, and the Dems will be sitting much prettier come November. Yes, they will lose a few seats in the senate and perhaps a couple dozen in the House, but the Dem majority will remain. Bet on it.

#3. Would not bet the house on your predictions.

One thing is certain, Dems Super majority of 60 is gone forever. They might have a 2-3 majority and then in 2012 will lose the Senate altogether.

Harry Reid, Dem Senate Majority leader will lose in Nevada.

The HOUSE … it is a 50-50 proposition as to whether Dems lose it. Personally, there is such voter outrage and Rep/Tea Party motivation while a depressed Dem base … that it is completely conceivable that HOUSE goes Republican.

We all know Rasmussen is the mouth of the GOP.

Whenever I read one of their polls I know they’re overpolling Republicans, and underpolling independents and Democrats.

Some will say their accuracy in election polling puts them ahead, and indicates they aren’t biased. But, what is evident is that as an election gets closer they stop manipulating the data and give accurate reporting so that their final polls will match what actually happens in the ballot box.

But, right now, their opinions polls are skewed, and every other respected polling organization is at odds with what they report.

They are, in a word, untrustworthy.

This is why I always rely on an average of all the polls – including Rasmussen.
      __________
SM: Get a LIFE Al. Why don’t you actually try reading and looking at all the trends of the polling instrad of reading your Obama emailed talking points. Get a clue.

You are such a Kool-Aid drinking Obama suck up it is not even funny.

You are a true fool if you think that Rasmussen speaks for the Republicans. A pollster is only as good as his polls and he is the best in the business.

Is Gallup and Zogby a Republican poll as well?

Rasmussen has been dead on in every poll. I guess you missed the NJ and VA governor races that he nailed in 2009. Oh, that’s right … liberals can’t deal with the facts.

Gee Al, did you have an issue with Rasmussen when his polling had Obama at 65-70%” HMM? Of course not.

You people are so delusional. I cannot wait until the 2010 elections when the whole lot of you will understand that Rasmussen is dead on and Democrats are wondering what just hit them upside the head.

History has shown that low approval ratings in the first year of a Presidents administration does not mean they will not be reelected. These are difficult times and the President is tackling some tough issues.

If these polls are accurate or skewed against the President doesn’t really matter much. There are signs that the economy will turn next year. A lot can happen in a year. Some Republicans take comfort in these polls. I think they may be in for a rude awakening. They may not gain as many seats in the midterm as they might believe

Lest you forget whose house you are in.

I am making an opinion as well with the words I use. Don’t like it and you can go else where.

However, the fact remains is that you cannot answer the simple question that is posed to you. How typical of a liberal to try and change the subject to be about people rather than the topic at hand.

So once again you will have the opportunity.

Why didn’t you have an issue with Rasmussen when he called the 2008 Presidential election spot on? Hmm? Cuz you agreed with it?

That is hardly a justification to now and try to attack the credibility of a pollster like Scott Rasmussen. But then again, you Dems got nothing else.

The Democratic party is about to get the butt kicking of a life time in 2010 and 2012. Ben Nelson is not even up for reelection until 2012 and he has already begun damage control.

So lets see Rasmussen nailed the 2008 Prez election, the 2009 NJ & VA Gov races.

Oh, I forget to mention to the nay saying Obama Kool-Aid drinking, defend Obama at all cost Democrats … do your home work and check out Rasmussen’s 2004 Presidentaial predictions with GWB and Kerry.

      Rasmussens Election 2004 Final Projection
      Bush 50.2%
      Kerry 48.5%

Guess what the actual final outcome was … President George W. Bush won the popular vote on November 2 by a 50.7% to 48.2% margin over Senator John Kerry.

      http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2004/election_2004_bush_kerry

Once again Rasmussen shows that he is the real deal and Democrats are silly whiners.

Exactly how many examples do whining Democrats want.

Try formulating an opinion with some basis of truth next time.

To you whining Democrats, here’s a little factoid I guess you want to just forget about.

It was Rasmussen that said that Obama would beat McCain by 6%, 52-46 right before the 2008 Presidential elections.

      http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html

Guess what whining Democrats, Obama won 53%-46%.

      http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/

Were you saying that Rasmussen was a Republican pollster then?

The truth is that Rasmussen is usually the most accurate pollster there is. END OF STORY.

      RED

    10. Lightwave on January 3rd, 2010 7:22 pm

Rasmussen is the only pollster worth listening to. It’s not just conceivable the Republican regain the House, but all but guaranteed.

And I honestly believe you will see the Republicans get within 3 of taking back the senate, getting 48 seats.

When that happens, Evan Bayh, Ben Nelson and Joe Lieberman need to be convinced to switch parties to give the Republicans control.

Then they need to remove Obama from office.

It all starts now with Ted “Chappaquiddick” Kennedy’s seat in MA on January 19th. Scott Brown can win, and the national Republican apparatus needs to make this priority one in order to stop Obamacare, Cap And Tax, or Shamnesty from passing.

Shut the Demo-RATS down in 2010!

    11. A Texas Grandfather on January 3rd, 2010 8:02 pm

Typical Demorat response by attacking the messinger first in order to discredit or attempt to discredit the message.
Most of the voters in this country are now independents and will not support the Demorat or Rino agendas in the future.
The Tea Party movement is real, regardless of what each of the two primary political parties may think. The people are going to change government in this country at the ballot box and have already begun with the elections in New Jersey and Virginia.
Will a true viable third party emerge? It is quite possible and it may make one or the other of the Democrat or Republican parties disappear just as did the Federalists and the Whigs when they no longer represented the will of the people.
Buying votes with taxpayer dollars in order to pass legislation is tatamount to treason in my mind. The money does not belong to the federal government, but to the people.
If I were a politician belonging to the Democratic party, I would begin to distance myself from Reid and Pelosi as well as Obama as fast as I could.

    12. Scared Monkeys on January 3rd, 2010 9:05 pm

      #7.

In the end the ultimate poll is election day.

You cannot really say that polls do not matter. What matters within polls are trends, not necessarily the snap shot in time. The poll just before the elections 99.9% of the time is correct. If the elections were held today Obama and Dems would lose in a landslide.

After one sort year, Democrats now have to run in 2010 and face an anti-Obama sentiment.

Obama’s trending is terrible, that is a fact. The trend is that if a President has a low approval rating in first year he will loss many seats in House and senate. That is a proven fact.

However, the problem with Obama is that he is on the wrong side of pretty much every issue with the majority of the American people.

The Independent voters have completely abandoned him.

If Obama continues to show a lack of leadership with this recent terror issue … he is all but finished.

For all W’s faults, he was not soft on terror. Obama cannot blame GWB for any terror issue. As a matter of fact he cannot even compare himself to W.

No one thinks that Obama is strong on terror and he best start showing it or he will lose another 5 points in job approval.

If Rasmussen is so clean why does he need to lie? On his website he states he’s been “an independent pollster for more than a decade” and “has never been a campaign pollster or consultant for candidates seeking office”

“According to the non-partisan Center for Public Integrity, Rasmussen has been a paid consultant for the RNC and President Bush’s 2004 campaign. The RNC paid Rasmussen $95,500 between 2003 and 2004 for items listed as “survey,” “survey cost” and “voter data.” Bush’s campaign paid Rasmussen $45,500 for “survey research.””

Ouch! A pollster’s credibility SHOULD BE attacked when they work for a partisan entity for pay and then LIE about it. Don’t you think????

Btw – as for the “Tea Party”…have you seen the picture of the founder and leader of Tea Party movement that came out today? Lol. Bye bye Tea Party….the gig is up.

The Liberal (VVD) Party is “liberal” in the European, rather than American, sense of the word. It thus attaches great importance to private enterprise and the freedom of the individual in political, social, and economic affairs. The VVD is generally seen as the most conservative of the major parties. It currently has 22 seats in the Second Chamber.
