Dead Heat in Michigan? Foster McCollum White Baydoun Poll has Romney 47% and Obama 47%

Hmm, is Michigan really in play and a tie going into election day? According to a brand new poll from Foster McCollum White Baydoun  the race is tied at 47%.

Republican Nominee Mitt Romney 46.86%
President Barack Obama 46.24%
Another candidate 4.94%
Undecided 1.96%

Foster McCollum White Baydoun (FMW)B, a national public opinion polling and voter analytics consulting firm based in Michigan and representing the combined resources of Foster McCollum White & Associates (Troy Michigan) and Baydoun Consulting (Dearborn Michigan) conducted a telephone-automated polling random survey of Michigan registered and most likely November 2012 General election voters for Fox 2 News Detroit to determine their voting and issue preferences on the Presidential election.

I find it a bit hard to believe the race is tied in Michigan. However, I also find it a bit unimaginable that that a failed president like Obama is even being considered for reelection.

If this turns out to be true and Michigan is tied or say Obama wins the state by single digits, that could be troubling for Obama in OH, PA, MN. In 2008 Obama won Michigan easily by 16%. One has to wonder that with Obama’s auto bailout how come he is not ahead in Michigan by +20?

Because the state unemployment rate has gone from 8.3% in April 2012 to 9.3% now, corresponding with a drop in Obamee’s numbers.

Romney wins Michigan on the way to 350+ EVs. Guaranteed.

no really one has to wonder how anyone would vote for a man who refuses to give any answers about the “stand down” order in Benghazi that MURDERED 4 Americans.

Obama doesn’t have to win Michigan by 20 points. He has to win it by enough to win the electoral votes, which he will do, as well as in Iowa, Wisconsin, Nevada, Ohio and very likely Virginia. His presidency may or not have lived up to its promise but it’s better than instituting a kleptocracy for the rich. If you stop watching Fox News all will be revealed!

Sorry, but there is a huge issue with the Obama campaign that he is struggling in solid blue states. If you do not think that is an issue you are hardly credible.

I would be in complete panic mode if Romney was struggling and had to defend states like TN, GA, IN or NE. There is no reason why Obama is barely hanging on in states like PA, MI, MN, or WI. These states should be considered solid blue so if Obama is having an issue here it speaks volumes as to the states that he won by 5% or less in 2008.

With Obama polling consistently 8%-10% less across the board as compared to 2008, it means that states like FL, NC, CO and VA are gone.

I think there are going to be some surprises election eve that is going to make many of us scratch our heads and say, how come everyone got this wrong.
