Orrin Hatch’s Democratic Utah Senate Opponent Scott Howell Says Hatch is Too Old, Could Die in Office

What ever happened to that civility that Barack Obama called for? Obviously his Democrat party never got the memo or just cared to never listen.

The 2012 Utah US Senate race just got a bit ugly. Utah Democrat US Senate candidate Scott Howell obviously has little to off the fine folks of 45th state admitted to the Union. This ‘Ageist” actually said the following regarding his opponent, incumbent Republican US Senator Orin Hatch, he’s not a bad guy, but he could die in office. Huh? Really, this is what Howell is campaigning on, the other dude is too old? Howell actually put forth that Hatch was too old and die before his term was over. UNREAL. How offensive could one possibly be? Look for this clown to get destroyed in the Utah Senate race.

“Orrin Hatch is old enough to be my father and I don’t want my father running the United States Senate Finance Committee.”

But the most explosive part of Howell’s fundraising letter may be when he says that Hatch could,

“die before his term is through.”

Who thinks Howell just lost the AARP vote? Hatch says that he will not make age an issue in this race, he will not hold Howell’s youth and inexperience against him, ala Ronald Reagan.

GOP Presidential candidate goes on Fox News, ‘Your World with Neil Cavuto’ to defend and discuss the differences between himself and Barack Obama when it comes to the economy. Romney defended his “47%” comments and went after Barack Obama for his stunning admission from 1998, “I actually believe in redistribution”.

Romney’s vision of America is much different from Obama’s big government, cradle to grave nanny state where a majority of Americans are dependent and beholden to government. Romney said when questioned about Obama’s redistribution, ” I disagree … I believe the right course for America is one where government steps in to help those who are in need. We’re a compassionate people. But then we let people build their own lives”.

In the end America, it is up to you. However, I hardly think this is why Our Founding Fathers fought a War of Independence to be dependent.

President Barack Obama’s foreign policy approval ratings drop significantly following the continued Middle East protests and deadly attack in Libya that saw the death of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans on the a11th anniversary of 9-11.  even with a skewed sampling of +5D, the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday found the president’s foreign policy approval among registered voters at 49%, down from 54%. Even worse, the fall among Independents went from 53% in August to 41%.

The first opinion poll to be conducted after last week’s deadly attack on a U.S. consulate in Libya and a spate of anti-American protests across the Muslim world has recorded a five-point drop in approval for President Obama’s handling of foreign policy.

The NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday found the president’s foreign policy approval among registered voters at 49 percent, down from 54 percent one month earlier.

“The fall was steeper among independents, going from 53 percent in August to 41 percent,” NBC reported.

Is it any wonder why the Obama White House and their minions are trying to claim that the attacks were spontaneous and not a premeditated terror attack. The Obama White House would rather blame a movie trailer of a movie no one has seen, rather than take responsibility for their failed foreign Middle East policy and the fact that they ignored advance warnings and had little to no security on the anniversary of 9-11, of all days.

Rut-Roh, what is the liberal MSM to do? Their failed narrative to make the protests be all about Romney’s condemnation of Obama rather than Obama doing his job has failed. The MSM all but declared Romney’s chances over. Not so fast … Maybe, just maybe there is hope and Americans are outraged at the lack of response and the lack of responsibility from Obama in the wake of the protests and murders. All the while he just continues to campaign and fund raise as Americans are dead.

The Obama Convention Bounce is Gone … Obama Gallup Poll Lead Down to 1 Over Romney

Where has the Obama Democrat Convention bounce go? Can you say it’s completely gone the way of the DoDo bird. The most recent Gallup tracking poll has President Barack Obama with only a 1 point lead over Mitt Romney, far within the margin of error and basically a statistical tie. Not only has Obama’s lead fallen, so has his approval rating. What happened to that great Obama convention bounce?  To paraphrase as one of my favorite obscure 1980′s bands Chilliwack:

As reported at The Hill, Obama’s 7% lead following the DNC convention is gone.Can you say “vanished” without a trace!

Obama’s lead widened to 7 points in the days following the Charlotte, N.C., convention earlier this month, but Tuesday’s data show the race returning the level where it’s been throughout most of the contest.

Prior to the conventions, Gallup’s poll had been almost completely static, with each candidate averaging 46 percent since May.

The president’s approval rating also dipped back below 50 percent for the first time since the convention.

Forty-nine percent said they approve of the job the president is doing, compared to 45 who say they disapprove. That’s still slightly better than the last few months, when Obama hovered around break-even and occasionally dipped into negative territory.
