UNREAL, Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice Says Libya Attack Was Spontaneous Act to Movie; Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magaria Says Premeditated

SHAMEFUL. The spontaneous attacks in the Middle East excuse is beginning to sound more political than plausible …

The Obama sycophants have circled the wagons for “The One”. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice  actually went on ABC’s ‘This Week’ with Jake Tapper and stated that the Libya attack and murders at the Benghazi consulate were a result of a spontaneous act to a movie trailer of  of a more than obscure video. It is simply incompressible that these folks are either outright lying to protect Barack Obama as a foreign policy expert or they are just that foolishly dangerous and naive.

Even though as referenced by the Gateway Pundit that the attack included over 150 Islamists equipped with rocket propelled grenades and assault rifles and not to mention that Al Qaeda already admitted the attack was revenge for its leader’s death earlier this year. Obama and his State Department keep repeating this ridiculous scenario because they are afraid that Americans are going to begin to ask themselves, are they safer today than they were four years ago?

From ABC News:

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi last week was not premeditated, directly contradicting top Libyan officials who say the attack was planned in advance.

“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo,” Rice told me this morning on “This Week.”

“In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated,” Rice said, referring to protests in Egypt Tuesday over a film that depicts the Prophet Muhammad as a fraud. Protesters in Cairo breached the walls of the U.S. Embassy, tearing apart an American flag.

“We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo,” Rice said. “And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons… And it then evolved from there.”

Let us also not forget that the United States was warned 3 days in advance and the attacks took place on the 11th anniversary of 9-11. Yeah, sounds spontaneous, doesn’t it?

To make the “spontaneous” claims even less plausible, as reported by Doug Ross, Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magaria offers CBS a “most devastating interview“. How shameful that the Obama crew would contradict the Libyan accounts that the attack and murder of Ambassador Stevens was not premeditated.

BOB SCHIEFFER: Was this a long-planned attack, as far as you know? Or what– what do you know about that?

MOHAMED YOUSEF EL-MAGARIAF: The way these perpetrators acted and moved, I think we– and they’re choosing the specific date for this so-called demonstration, I think we have no– this leaves us with no doubt that this has preplanned, determined– predetermined.

BOB SCHIEFFER: And you believe that this was the work of al Qaeda and you believe that it was led by foreigners. Is that– is that what you are telling us?

MOHAMED YOUSEF EL-MAGARIAF: It was planned– definitely, it was planned by foreigners, by people who– who entered the country a few months ago, and they were planning this criminal act since their– since their arrival.

Allen West SLAMS Ambassador Rice as borderline ignorant for blaming attacks on anti-Islam video
      September 16th, 2012

Allen West said tonight that UN Ambassador Rice’s statement earlier today blaming the attacks in the Middle East, specifically Benghazi, on this anti-Islam video is borderline ignorant. In fact he actually called them asinine, naïve, inept, and incompetent as well. He goes on to accuse the Obama administration of outright distorting the truth with their complicit MSM, suggesting this could be Obama’s very own Jimmy Carter moment.

I have to agree with Senator McCain on this one since when did people bring such heavy weaponry and RPG’s to impromptu demonstrations.

Allen West Rips ‘Asinine, Naive, Inept, and Incompetent’ Response to Middle East Chaos
      Posted on September 16, 2012

When asked by the Fox News host what he thought of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s “spin” that the deadly protests are a “spontaneous” reaction to a ‘hateful’ YouTube video, West responded:

“It’s very simple. When I listened to the U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice today, several words came to mind: asinine, naive, inept, incompetent, and borderline ignorant. Because when you understand that the Egyptian government…put out a letter talking about a potential threat of attacks and uprisings about a week before this– it was even printed in the Jerusalem Post on 9/11. And anyhow I can tell you…having been in a combat zone several times after 9/11, we were always on a higher state of security and alertness on 9/11. It should have been the exact same thing here.”

“And for Susan Rice to say that this was not a well coordinated attack– first of all, I’d have to ask her what is her line of expertise in understanding what a well-coordinated attack is… This was not happenstance. It was not coincidence. This was well-planned, well-coordinated, and the president there in Libya confirms that.” …

“I think this really does come down to an issue for [the current administration]– they see the failures of their domestic economic policies, the last thing they can [afford] to have is also to be seen as weak on foreign policy.”

“You need to send a very strong message, and you need to cut off that aid until these countries show that they are willing to protect our embassies,” he said.

McCain: U.S. “is weakened” under Obama
      September 16, 2012

(CBS News) Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., was skeptical that violent attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya were not preplanned.

“Most people don’t bring rocket-propelled grenades and heavy weapons to demonstrations. That was an act of terror,” McCain said on “Face the Nation” Sunday. “For anyone to disagree with that fundamental fact I think is really ignoring the facts.”

McCain disputed U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s statement, made earlier on “Face the Nation,” that the U.S. has information that attacks on American consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans were premeditated.

“[T]here was no doubt there were extremists and there’s no doubt they were using heavy weapons and they used pretty good tactics – indirect fire, direct fire – and obviously they were successful,” McCain added.

McCain said the United States has adopted a policy of “disengagement” under President Obama, which, he said, has “weakened” America’s standing in the world.

Pointing to the violent protests this week in Benghazi, Libya and Cairo, Egypt, McCain said, “The fact is the United States is weakened.

      REMINDER

Rage rising on the McCain campaign trail
      October 10, 2008

At a rally in Minnesota on Friday, a woman told McCain: “I don’t trust Obama. I have read about him and he’s an Arab.”

McCain shook his head and said, “No ma’am, no ma’am. He’s a decent family man…[a] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues. That’s what this campaign is all about.”

One man at the rally said he was “scared of an Obama presidency.” McCain later told the man he should not fear Obama.

“I want to be president of the United States, and I don’t want Obama to be,” he said. “But I have to tell you, I have to tell you, he is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared as President of the United States.”

McCain’s response was met with boos from the crowd.

Journalism in the U.S.A is truly dead. The press and the so-called pundits should be focused and outraged on the barbaric acts committed against our diplomat and his staff. Instead, they are all shilling for Obama. This is truly a pathetic day in American history.

Romney was right to criticize Obama. He should keep it up and become even more aggressive about it, press be damned. Every American should be outraged by this barbarism, which was most likely a coordinated effort on the part of Islamic terrorists – oops, I’m not supposed to say Islamic Terrorists lest I offend Obama and his cronies. Obama’s failed foreign policies led to the so-called Arab Spring and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood. He deserves all the credit – pun intended – for this.

Islamic terrorism and the barbaric crimes against humanity ought to be the focus of the American press. They have clearly abdicated their role and are no longer a “free press,” but just a propaganda arm of the democrat party and this president.

      God save us!
