As Voting Begins in Wisconsin Governor Recall … Republican Gov. Walker Slams Obama for Shying away from Wisconsin
President Barack Obama … even his peeps think he has no coattails …
The day has finally come … let the voting begin in Wisconsin. Today the voters of Wisconsin will finally get to vote in the recall election. The results of today’s vote will echo throughout the 2012 election cycle.
According to RCP, Scott Brown is currently ahead of Democrat challenger Tom Barrett by an average of 6.7%.
However, what is more intriguing leading up to the Wisconsin Governor recall election is the lack of presence of President Barack Obama. In 2008 Barack Obama won Wisconsin by double digits over John McCain, 56% to 43%. But suddenly Obama is AWOL when it comes to going to Wisconsin to support labor and Tom Barrett. Leading Republican Gov. Scott Walker to knock Obama for shying away from Wisconsin recall. Why is Obama so scared to go campaign for Barret? Does Obama and his peeps have so little confidence in Obama’s coattails that they are afraid that “The One” will have no impact in the vote and will have the loss attached to him? This may not be even considered “lost in smallness” for Obama, it might be just plain lost.
GOP Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Monday that President Obama’s decision to shy away from campaigning on behalf of Democratic challenger Tom Barrett before Tuesday’s election in the state shows “there is a real concern” on the left that the effort to recall the incumbent governor would fail.
“It is interesting. For all the hype, it’s kind of confusing for all the voters here. It’s a sign there is a real concern,” Walker told Fox Business Network. “What I have seen is voters who tell me they voted for my opponent or they are Democrats, but in each case they are telling me they are voting for me.”
What has been deemed as a precursor to the 2012 elections, how does a President just sit on the sidelines? Obama did not make one visit to WI to aid Barret. Hey cheese head Dems, how does it feel to be abandoned by Obama?
Oh wait Obama has finally got engaged in the all important WI recall. Here is Obama’s endorsement from The Pirate’s Cove … he pathetically tweeted it. Good grief could a President be any more lame?
No matter how one looks at this, it is a loss for Obama. He provided no leadership, no visible sign of presence in this recall election that was supposed to be so important for unions. How could one ever want this dude in their fox hole?
The polls are open in WI … let the voting begin.

YIKES, From Miss USA Contest … Miss Ohio Thinks Prostitution Is a Positive Movie Role For Women Like in Movie Pretty Woman (Video)
What ever happened to beauty contestants just saying that they were for world peace? Miss Ohio misses the issue of prostitution and the devastating effects it has on woman.
Have morals and standards really changed that much in the United States? During the Miss USA contest Miss Ohio was asked the following question, do you think woman are depicted in movies and in television in an accurate and positive way? The answer … um, Miss Ohio thinks that Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’ playing a prostitute was an example of woman being played in a positive manner. Really, Hollywood glorifying prostitution is a positive thing? UNREAL!
From The O’Reilly Factor
So in the mind of Miss Ohio as long as the prostitute winds up in the end with a millionaire Richard Gere type all is ok and a positive message. Dear Miss Ohio, how often do you think that really happens? Of all the movies and TV shows that is what you come up with as positive? WOW! A note to Miss Ohio, glorifying prostitution would be depicting woman in a negative manner.
On a side note, who can forget this Video doozy from Miss South Carolina. Good thing she didn’t get the positive role model for woman question.
MSM Finally Reports that Peru Court Approves Joran Van Der Sloot Extradition to US on Extortion Charges in Connection with Death of Natalee Holloway
As Scared Monkeys reported last Saturday, the MSM has finally decided to report that Peru courts have approved Joran Van der Sloot’s extradition to the United States on extortion and wire fraud charges. However, according to the court’s decision, Van der Sloot must first serve his 28 year sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores before he can be extradited to the US on extortion charges. Before the decision is made final, it must be approved by Peru’s justice minister and Cabinet.
U.S. prosecutors who want to try Joran van der Sloot for extortion related to the 2005 disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway will have to wait until he finishes serving a murder sentence in Peru, this nation’s Supreme Court has ruled.
Van der Sloot’s lawyer, who was notified of the decision Friday, said Monday that he expects his client will be made to serve at least two-thirds of the 28-year sentence.
The court’s May 23 decision on extradition is not final, however. Peru’s justice minister and Cabinet must endorse it, said the lawyer, Maximo Altez.
Van der Sloot, 24, faces extortion and wire fraud charges in Alabama in connection with Holloway’s unsolved disappearance in Aruba exactly five years before he killed Peruvian college student Stephany Flores after meeting her in a Lima casino.

CBO: Barack Obama Stimulus Plan May Have Cost As Much As $4.1 Million Per Job
Direct from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) comes the following reports and further displays the Obama waste of tax payer dollars. Barack Obama and his reelection minions have the audacity to attack Mitt Romney when it comes to jobs and business, really? $4.1 million per job, way to go Barack.
When [the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act] was being considered, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation estimated that it would increase budget deficits by $787 billion between fiscal years 2009 and 2019. CBO now estimates that the total impact over the 2009–2019 period will amount to about $831 billion.
By CBO’s estimate, close to half of that impact occurred in fiscal year 2010, and more than 90 percent of ARRA’s budgetary impact was realized by the end of March 2012. CBO has estimated the law’s impact on employment and economic output using evidence about the effects of previous similar policies and drawing on various mathematical models that represent the workings of the economy. …
On that basis CBO estimates that ARRA’s policies had the following effects in the first quarter of calendar year 2012 compared with what would have occurred otherwise:
– They raised real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product (GDP) by between 0.1 percent and 1.0 percent,
– They lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.1 percentage points and 0.8 percentage points,
– They increased the number of people employed by between 0.2 million and 1.5 million,
– They increased the number of full-time-equivalent jobs by 0.3 million to 1.9 million. (Increases in FTE jobs include shifts from part-time to full-time work or overtime and are thus generally larger than increases in the number of employed workers.)
As stated at The Enterprise blog, so without the stimulus, there would be anywhere from 200,000 to 1.5 million fewer people employed right now? That means the current cost-per-job created is somewhere between $4.1 million and $540,000. With this type of Obamanomics in play, just how much will America go into debt putting the millions of unemployed back to work?
