Another TSA Screw Up: TSA Humiliates Mom, Forces Woman to Prove her Breast Pump Actually Works at Lihue Airport in Hawaii

HOW IGNORANT CAN THE TSA REALLY BE … NOW BREAST MILK FEEDING MOMS ARE TERRORISTS …

Just when you thought that the TSA could not screw up air port screening any more than they already have, they continue to amaze. First it was 3 year old little girls who were treated like terrorists, then there were cancer victims, granny’s in wheel chairs, individuals with limb prosthesis, the elderly,  those with pacemakers and now  …Welcome to the latest folks who are considered terrorists and guilty until proven innocent … breast milk feeding moms. A TSA agent actually made a mother in a Hawaii airport fill the the bottles in her carry on in the public bathroom, refusing to allow her a private place.

Because a breast pump looks like an explosive device

A Hawaiian mom says she was humiliated when asked to prove her breast pump was real at an airport.

The woman says she was flagged for additional screening at the Lihue Airport Wednesday because of her electric breast feeding pump.

She claims agents told her she couldn’t take the pump on the plane because the bottles in her carry-on were empty.

“I asked him if there was a private place I could pump and he said no, you can go in the women’s bathroom. I had to stand in front of the mirrors and the sinks and pump my breast in front of every tourist that walked into that bathroom. I was embarrassed and humiliated and then angry that I was treated this way.

Watch VIDEO here.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE IDIOTS! THEY WOULD NEVER SUBJECT AN ACTUAL TERRORIST TO SUCH THINGS, THAT WOULD MAKE THEM FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE.

But wait, the TSA apologized and stated the agent made a mistake. YA THINK … NO $HIT SHERLOCK AND WE DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR APOLOGY. You accept the responsibility for the inconvenience or embarrassment that you caused. How? Do you actually believe a stupid apology is the answer? Imagine the TSA doing anything remotely like this to a Muslim, CAIR would be suing them in a heartbeat. But its perfectly fine for the TSA to harass law abiding citizens and taking away their liberties.

The agency released a statement, saying in part: “We accept responsibility for the apparent misunderstanding and any inconvenience or embarrassment this incident may have caused her.”

The TSA recently changed screening procedures to allow women to carry breast milk onto planes without testing it.

However, breast pumps may require additional screening.

This is another federal organization that is out of control. It is now being reported that they have increased the personnel count to 51,000 and are placing people on the highway system in Tennessee to check trucks and cars.

These people have zero law enforcement authority and training. This needs to be shut down.

All I can speak to is my own experience with TSA folks, and it has been 100% positive. A few months ago I was traveling with a cast on my hand. They always swab a cast, and in this case it tested positive for explosives (I saw the readout on the machine). The TSA personnel were kind, professional, and thorough. Two gentlemen took me into a private room and gave me a thorough pat-down while a lady agent went through my bag. When all was said and done, they chalked it up to my nitroglycerine I always carry and sent me on my way with a literal pat on the back. I still think it was some antifreeze residue on my hand that set the machine off, but whatever the case, I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the agents I dealt with. I fly several times a year, and I have never seen a single negative act by one of these folks. Obviously there are cases, like this one, where an agent acts in a reprehensible manner, but it is a rare exception.

Anyone can figure out how to deal with the low hanging fruit at the airport when screening. Some one with a pulse can do that.

It is the exceptions that the TSA need to concern themselves with and get a clue.

Of course the fact still remains, when has the TSA ever nabbed a terrorist at the gate?

Unfortunately, NOT everyone can figure out how to deal with the low hanging fruit, as evidenced by this story and the previous reports of elderly ladies being strip-searched. There will always be rogue agents – or simply stupid people – who will make the agency look bad. As for me, I was deeply appreciative of the fact that – even though they obviously didn’t believe I was a threat – they followed a sensible protocol to rule me out and send me happily on my way. These days, terrorists don’t necessarily wear turbans and look like stereotypical jihadists.
