Barack Obama’s Mutual Sacrifice & Fairness … First Lady Michelle’s Ski Trip Marks 16 Obama Vacation

FAIRNESS MR. PRESIDENT? AMERICA, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD A VACATION … BUT THAT DOES NOT STOP BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA.

President Barack Obama talks of class warfare,  the 1% vs. the 99%, and fairness. However, Michelle Obama’s ski trip to Aspen, CO marks the 16th Obama vacation. Just curious America, how many of you have taken 16 vacations in the last three years? President Obama, you like to talk of fairness … is it fair that you and yours take 16 vacations on the tax payers dime when most not only have not taken 16 vacations, many have not even taken 16 days. That is if they are lucky enough to be employed.Granted former President GWB took many vacation days as well’ however, they were mostly “staycations” on his ranch in Crawford, TX.

First lady Michelle Obama’s weekend jaunt to Aspen, Colorado for a President’s Day ski holiday with her daughters Sasha and Malia makes the 16th time members of the first family have gone on extended vacations during their three years in office.

But his have become more controversial because of the costs associated with moving the first family to a public vacation spot, unlike the Bushes to their remote ranch in Crawford, Texas. For example, the Hawaii Reporter said the first family’s 2011 Christmas vacation in Hawaii would exceed $1.5 million.

Critics and even some in his own party say the vacations present a bad image at a time when many Americans are struggling to get by during the recession. According to recent Harris poll, only three in 10 said they plan to take a vacation lasting longer than a week in the next six months, and that number has been dropping during the recession as people worry about the costs of vacations. Other polls have found that less than half of all Americans take all the vacation time they earn because they can’t afford trips.

Who in their right mind takes an Aspen vacation after already having just been on a  17 day trip to Hawaii that cost taxpayers $4 million. How do these people claim a populist campaign with a straight face? They talk of the evil 1% … if you have not figured it out, Barack and Michelle are the 1%. You might want to remember this lack of empathy in the 2012 Presidential election when casting your vote.

Forget about the poor US economy, the 5 million lost employees who simply gave up, the real un/under-emplyment number, the $878 billion wasted stimulus plan, the out of control national debt, and an energy policy that puts politics ahead of jobs and energy independence … “We the People” have just been present with one more huge reason why Barack Obama must be voted out of office in 2012 …

According to the UPI, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Gingburg plans to step down in 2015.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will step down from the U.S. Supreme Court in 2015 to give President Obama, putatively in his second term, a chance to name a liberal as her successor.

That’s the conclusion of Tom Goldstein, founder and padrone of SCOSTUSBLOG.com, one of the premier Supreme Court litigators in active practice — he’s argued 24 cases before the justices — and

In the swashbuckling , devil-may-care style familiar to those who know him, Goldstein admits his prediction is speculation.

“The odds are good that Justice Ginsburg will retire in the third year of a second Obama term,” he writes in SCOTUSBLOG. “That is only a presumption, and I doubt that the justice herself has made concrete plans. [Obama's] re-election itself is highly uncertain, and much can change in one’s thinking over the next three years.

“Nonetheless, the justice has sent signals that correspond with a likely retirement at that time.”

Ginsburg’s retirement would have nothing to do with her two bouts of cancer, both of which she bested.

Every wonder why the 2012 Presidential election is so important? The United States of America and SCOTUS cannot take Barack Obama appointing two more justices. Previously some Democrats had wanted Bader Ginsburg to step down prior to the 2012 election as they were not confident in Obama’s reelection.

Tony Bennett Left His Liberal Brain in San Francisco … Calls for Drug Legalization Following the Death of Whitney Houston

The Singer Tony Bennett’s comments regarding the legalization of drugs following the death if Grammy Award winning singer Whitney Houston prove positive that drugs really do have an adverse effect on the brain. It is obvious that Tony Bennett not only “Left his Heart in San Francisco”, he left his brain their as well.

First of all it has yet to be determined what Whitney Houston died of. Second, what kind of dirt bag uses the death of an individual for their warped, personal agenda? Third, all signs point to the fact that Houston most likely died from the abuse of legalized drugs. So what does the legalization of drugs have to do with anything? Bennett actually had the audacity to defend his ignorant comments.

Following the death of Whitney Houston, Tony Bennett has called for the legalization of hard drugs. Houston would not have died, Bennett said, if drug users were not forced “to hide”.

Bennett made his comments just hours after Houston’s body was found in her hotel room. The 85-year-old singer was speaking at Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammys party, which had been abruptly re-dedicated to Houston’s life. “I’d like to have every gentleman and lady in this room commit themselves to get our government to legalise drugs,” he told the star-studded crowd. “So they have to get it from a doctor, not just some gangsters that just sell it under the table.”

I am still confused, how would the legalization of drugs saved such individuals like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson or Amy Whinehouse? These folks abused legalized drugs. Are we really supposed to believe that legalizing crack is going to save lives? Really? How foolish could one possibly be? What makes matters worse is that it is reprehensible to make such a foolish comment to promote one’s agenda by latching onto the death of someone. Good grief, get some class.

Team Obama Struggles To Find New Campaign Slogan To Replace “Hope And Change” … What Running on His Failed Record Does Not Work?

TEAM OBAMA LOOKS FOR NEW SLOGAN TO BS AMERICA …

Barack Obama and his Reelection Team look to come up with a new slogan to replace “Hope & Change” for the 2012 Presidential election. So far they are without any ideas. I guess being honest with the American people and running on his failed 1st term policies and agenda is out of the question. Imagine that, Obama does not want to actually run on his record, he would rather contrive of slogan.

Winning The Future. Greater Together. We Don’t Quit.

They may not be official but those are all phrases that could in one form or another be candidates to become President Barack Obama’s re-election slogan.

Advisers say a fresh slogan to replace the winning “Change we can believe in” mantra of 2008, is unlikely to appear before Obama knows who his Republican opponent will be and starts big campaign travel swings, likely in the spring or summer.

His campaign posters now say simply, “Obama 2012.”

But Obama’s surrogates have roadtested some slogans in recent months, including “Winning The Future,” which the White House used to promote its budget, and “Greater Together,” which the campaign has used to brand its youth outreach effort.

Hey Team Obama, what about the slogan … How’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for you? Here are some suggestions for Team Obama:
