Rotterdam Police spokeswoman Patricia Wessels says police were called to a home in the Dutch port city early Monday morning and found Halman bleeding from a stab wound.
More from NBC’s Today:

“A 24-year-old died this morning in a stabbing and we have arrested the 22-year-old brother of the victim,” a Rotterdam police spokesman told Reuters. Officials declined to give the suspect’s name, in line with Dutch privacy rules.

Because, afterall, the crime rate is so low in the NL.
=(
Still lower then in the US……..
His brother is suspect, the brother is also a baseball player (in NL), all the stories go that they were really close. They had a fight and when the brothers gf came into the room, he was already stabbed.
Dolf—can you tell me—where is the population the largest? US or NL?
Of course the crime rate is the highest here. No one ever said that the United States of America is perfect. Far from it.
I have done enough traveling around the World to know, however- that there STILL is no other COUNTRY in the WORLD I would be prouder to live in or want to live in. Permanently, of course.
There are some exotic destinations in the Caribbean and elsewhere that I love, however they are poverty stricken and only survive off of Tourism.
You can keep the Netherlands, Dolf. Some lovely places to visit, but again- would never want to live there.
And, by the way- if the US is so horrible—-why does every illegal alien in the World come here? Oh, that’s right, because it sucks so bad???
Can it, Dolf. Sick of you trashing the US!
