They were warned by authorities to leave the Occupy LA camps. Some listened, many did not.  The Occupy LA protesters learned the hard way that there were consequences for their actions of disobeying the law .  292 protesters were arrested by police when they failed to follow the law and leave the Occupy LA camp.

Los Angeles police said 292 people were arrested early Wednesday morning when they closed down the Occupy L.A. encampment.

A total of 290 people were arrested for failure to disperse. One person was arrested for interfering with an officer and another was arrested for battery on an officer. Bail was set at $5,000 for those who allegedly failed to disperse, and a spokesman for the protesters said most of them were prepared to make bail.

As stated at News Busters, some how nearly 300 arrests turned into a couple dozen as reported by CNN. But of course there is no bias in the liberal MSM.

UPDATE I: Police in LA, Philly raid Occupy camps.

Police in Los Angeles and Philadelphia stormed Occupy Wall Street encampments under darkness Wednesday to arrest or drive out some of the longest-lasting protesters since crackdowns ended similar occupations across the country.

The raid in Los Angeles came after demonstrators with the movement in Philadelphia marched through the streets after being evicted from their site. About 40 protesters were arrested after refusing to clear a street several blocks northeast of City Hall, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. They were lined up in cuffs and loaded on to buses by officers. Six others were arrested earlier after remaining on a street police that police tried to clear.

The MSM uses the term “eviction” to describe what happened to the Occupy protesters. Sorry, this was not an eviction, the protesters were trespassing. The legal definition of eviction is, “the removal of a tenant from possession of premises in which he or she resides or has a property interest done by a landlord either by reentry upon the premises or through a court action.” Exactly what property interest did the Occupy protesters have of these areas that they took over, defaced and left in complete and total disarray?

War on Christmas … Rhode Island Outraged Over Gov. Lincoln Chafee’s “Holiday Tree”

Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, the Grinch who stole “Christmas” from the Christmas tree.

Yet another foolish PC politician and the war on Christmas. Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee decided to call the state tree a “holiday” tree and not what it obviously is, a Christmas tree.  Just curious Gov. Chaffee, what would you call a Menorah at the State House, holiday candle sticks?

A Rhode Island lawmaker is calling Gov. Lincoln Chafee “Governor Grinch” after he defied lawmakers and decided that the state would have a “holiday tree” instead of a “Christmas tree.”

The governor defended his decision by arguing that it is in keeping with the state’s founding in 1636 by religious dissident Roger Williams as a haven for tolerance – where government and religion were kept separate.

Question: Dear foolish mr. Governor, you know how you know it is a “CHRISTMAS TREE”?

Answer: The tree was donated to the state by Big John Leyden’s Christmas Tree Farm in West Greenwich, RI. What part about Christmas tree farm don’t you quite understand?

Jesse Dimmick, Convicted Kidnapper Sues Former Hostages for $235,000, Claiming They Broke Promise

Why do we have a court system that always such frivolous law suits?

Jesse Dimmick is suing Jared and Lindsay Rowley for breach of contract; however, there is just one catch. Dimmick has been convicted and is presently serving an 11 year sentence for the home invasion and kidnapping of the Kansas couple. Unbelievable, that this dirt back would be even allowed to sue for someone claiming that they would help a felon hide from the police when they felt their lives were in danger. Tea, no duress here.

A man who held a Kansas couple hostage in their home while fleeing from authorities is suing them, claiming that they broke an oral contract made when he promised them money in exchange for hiding him from police. The couple has asked a judge to dismiss the suit.

Jesse Dimmick of suburban Denver is serving an 11-year sentence after bursting into Jared and Lindsay Rowley’s Topeka-area home in September 2009. He was wanted for questioning in the beating death of a Colorado man and a chase had begun.

The following is this convicts unbelievable and insane lawsuit from a convicted felon. What a shame that anyone should have to pay $1.00 in legal fees to defend such a frivolous lawsuit.

“I, the defendant, asked the Rowleys to hide me because I feared for my life. I offered the Rowleys an unspecified amount of money which they agreed upon, therefore forging a legally binding oral contract,” Dimmick said in his hand-written court documents. He wants $235,000, in part to pay for the hospital bills that resulted from him being shot by police when they arrested him.

Norway’s Mass Murderer Anders Behring Breivik Declared Insane

Norway’s mass murderer, Anders Behring Breivik, has been declared insane and said to be suffering from paranoid schizophrenia by a panel of forensic psychiatrists. Really? The psychiatrists determined that Breivik was in a psychotic state both during and after both of his heinous attacks on 22 July that led to the deaths of 77 people and injured 151. That is rather hard to believe that an individual could have had such a sustained psychotic break where he could kill and injure defenseless individuals in one place and then go to another and kill innocent children.

Psychiatrists assessing self-confessed Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik have concluded that he is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.

They believe he was in a psychotic state both during and after the twin attacks on 22 July that led to the deaths of 77 people and injured 151.

Their report must still be reviewed by a panel of forensic psychiatrists.

Breivik will still be tried in April but it seems likely he will be placed in psychiatric care rather than prison.

Sorry, but this killer belongs in prison not under psychiatric care. You may be delusional, one would think they would have to be to kill so many people. However, that does not mean he was not cognizant of what he was doing. To pull off what he did, conscious and sane thought was required.

Barack Obama’s Approval Rating of 43% Lowest Ever of Any President at this Stage of Term in Modern Political History … Lower than Jimmy Carter

Barack Obama is officials the worst president ever for this state of his term in office in the modern Presidential era.  According to the Gallup poll, Obama has a 43% approval rating. As compared to all other modern day presidents,  Obama’s approval rating is the lowest ever, including Jimmy Carter.

Since March, Obama’s job approval rating has hovered above Carter’s, considered among the 20th century’s worst presidents, but today Obama’s punctured Carter’s dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama’s job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter’s 51 percent.

Barack Obama has been an EPIC FAILURE. His present 43% approval ratings compared to other president’s approval ratings at the same point in time during their terms.  Obama has hit a trend that his reelections minions cannot shake. Obama has consistently been at 43% for weeks. Only to be even lower in weeks prior to that.

American Airlines Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

More bad news for the economy … American Airlines files chapter 11 bankruptcy.

American Airlines’ parent company is seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as it seeks to unload massive debt built up by years of accelerating jet fuel prices and labor struggles.

The nation’s third largest airline also said its CEO Gerard Arpey will step down. He’s being replaced by Thomas Horton, currently the company’s president.

Fort Worth, Texas-based AMR Corp., along with its regional affiliate AMR Eagle Holding Corp. said Tuesday that they filed voluntary petitions to reorganize.

Estranged Fiance Dale Smith Jr Named Primary Suspect in Disappearance of Michelle Parker

The following should not come as a shock to any one …

Dale Smith Jr., the estranged fiance of missing Michelle Parker, has been officially named the primary suspect by Orlando police in the disappearance of the 33 year old mother of three. Michelle Parker has been missing since 11/17/11. From the outset of this missing persons case, we had questioned why the family had stated that the ex-fiance was not a suspect. Even though every initial sign said quite the opposite.

“We had to look at every aspect of the case before we could come out publicly and state that Mr. Smith is our primary focus,” Police Chief Paul Rooney said at a news conference. “We will not rest until Michelle is found.”

Parker and Smith battled on “The People’s Court” over who would get a $5,000 engagement ring, and Judge Marilyn Milan suggested that the two split the proceeds and stay apart from one another.

Smith has refused to take a polygraph test, Rooney said.

The announcement that Dale Smith Jr was a primary suspect came just two days after police raided and searched the home of Dale Smith Jr’s father.

“We are officially naming Dale Smith, the ex-fiancé, as the primary suspect” in Michelle Parker’s disappearance, Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney said at a press conference.

The announcement came two days after a SWAT team raided Smith’s father’s home to execute a search warrant. Several people were restrained outside the house with flex cuffs during the search, which police said was standard procedure.

According to police records, Smith had a violent past and the couple had a troubled past with cases of domestic violence.  Oh no, say it isn’t so … according to reports, Dale Smith has hired prominent Orlando defense attorney Mark Nejame.

According to public records, the couple was involved in a domestic violence case involving children in 2009. Parker and Smith have 3-year-old twins together.

Public records also showed Smith was previously convicted on drug and domestic battery charges.

Smith joined the U.S. Marines in 1996, but was dishonorably discharged as a private in 2003.
