Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, the Grinch who stole “Christmas” from the Christmas tree.
Yet another foolish PC politician and the war on Christmas. Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee decided to call the state tree a “holiday” tree and not what it obviously is, a Christmas tree. Just curious Gov. Chaffee, what would you call a Menorah at the State House, holiday candle sticks?
A Rhode Island lawmaker is calling Gov. Lincoln Chafee “Governor Grinch” after he defied lawmakers and decided that the state would have a “holiday tree” instead of a “Christmas tree.”
The governor defended his decision by arguing that it is in keeping with the state’s founding in 1636 by religious dissident Roger Williams as a haven for tolerance – where government and religion were kept separate.
Question: Dear foolish mr. Governor, you know how you know it is a “CHRISTMAS TREE”?
Answer: The tree was donated to the state by Big John Leyden’s Christmas Tree Farm in West Greenwich, RI. What part about Christmas tree farm don’t you quite understand?

Roger Williams founded this colony upon the principle of religious tolerance and inclusion, not exclusion of religion. How unfortunate for us that we have a governor that is a liar.
This guy is just another worthless politically correct politician with zero moral values.
The people of Rhode Island should be so ashamed of him that they take steps to remove him from office.
