Nevada’s Unemployment Rate rises to 13.4% in August 2011 … Up From 12.9% in July

YIKES!!! More bad unemployment numbers for the states … Nevada unemployment numbers rise to 13.4% in August 2011, that is up from 12.9% in July.Makes you wonder whether Nevada has buyers remorse in reelecting US Senator Harry Reid and continuing the Democrat control of the Senate?

In August, Nevada’s unemployment rate rose to 13.4 percent, up from 12.9 percent in July.

After declining in each of the first five months of the year, this is the third consecutive month the state has seen an increase in the number of jobless.

The rate equates to 176,200 people out of work in the state.

How is the unemployment rate and mortgage crisis going to play in the 2012 elections? If you have a “D” next to your name or have supported Obama in his policies … you most likely are TOAST.

President Barack Obama back in the 30′s for Job Approval … Doesn’t Look Like America Loves Obama … Initial Jobless Claims Up Again

Back where he belongs …

Following President Barack Obama’s jobs speech and his subsequent attempt to sell his jobs plan … “We the People” are not buying. According to the most recent Gallup job approval poll, Obama is back to 39%, with a 53% disapproval.

It would appear that a majority of America does not love Barack Obama. In fact, with a job approval rating in the 30′s, one would think that Americans want to toss Obama to the curb. However, not only are there Republicans who reject Obama’s jobs bill in Congress, there are many Democrats who do as well.

Obama is an epic failure as one again this week there was an 11,000 increase in first time jobless claims to 428,000, far exceeding analysts predictions. Why is it unexpected under this President?

In the week ending September 10, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 428,000, an increase of 11,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 417,000. The 4-week moving average was 419,500, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week’s revised average of 415,500.

Barack Obama says, “if ya love me then help me pass the jobs bill. ” Doesn’t that speak volumes about Obama, the “ME” and “I” President.  If you love Obama pass his bill, but if you love the American economy and want to gain jobs, don’t. If you love America, vote him out of office in 2012.

What Obama was really saying, or should we say begging … “If you love me, please, please please, vote for me because I have done nothing but destroy jobs, the economy and the American way of life.”

Dave Holloway Asks Courts to Declare his Daughter Natalee Holloway Deceased

Dave Holloway, the father of missing Natalee Holloway, has asks the courts to declare her dead.

It has been more than six years since Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba on a class trip in May of 2005. Dave Holloway is asking the probate court to declare her dead. Natalee Holloway has not been seen not heard from since she left Carlos N’ Charlies in a car with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe. The initial court date is set for September 23, 2011. Dave Holloway is looking for an official declaration of death for Natalee Holloway.

Holloway wrote in a sworn statement that it was his “painful” belief that his daughter is dead and recounted the years spent investigating her baffling disappearance in 2005. He said there was no evidence to suggest Natalee is either alive or that she had run away from home.

“Prior to her trip to Aruba, Natalee had no medical issues, psychological issues or family issues,” the statement said.

Dave Holloway’s lawyer, Karen Hennecy, said Dave “is seeking closure for this family.” However, it appears that his ex-wife Beth Holloway was not aware of the legal proceedings.  That may not be the best direction. Beth Holloway, said she was surprised her ex-husband filed the request.

“I only learned about this when I was handed the citation by a process server while addressing a large audience at a conference in Georgia,” she said in a statement. “I don’t know what this is about, or why Dave is taking this action at this time.”

A spokeswoman for Beth Holloway declined comment on whether she would oppose the petition.

The declaration of death, “order on legal presumption of death,” will take several court appearances and according to reports, the court papers reference homicide.

The process, which requires multiple hearings and publication of notices seeking information that she is alive, is expected to last into early 2012. Fewer than a half-dozen such cases are filed annually in Jefferson County, court officials said.

The petition makes several references to the homicide investigation conducted by Aruban authorities and the ongoing focus on Joran van der Sloot in connection with Holloway’s disappearance.
