RSS8 Year Old Kerra Wilson Missing in Mitchell, Nebraska Since 9/21/11 (UPDATE: Kerra Found Dead, Stepfather Arrested)
The search continues for 8 year old missing Kerra Wilson. She was last seen at 8 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 when her stepfather dropped her off for school at the Mitchell Elementary School in the Panhandle city of Mitchell, NE. Kirk Kuxhausen, the Mitchell Elementary School principal said that security cameras didn’t record any picture of Kerra inside the building or on the playground. Hmmm.

Wednesday, Kerra was left at the west doors of Mitchell Elementary School by her stepfather Salvador Lopez, said Lt. Monica Bartling of the Nebraska State Patrol.
Video from security cameras at the school and neighboring businesses recorded no images of the girl.
“We know she did not enter the school,” Bartling said.
Kerra Wilson was reported missing by her grandmother Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm. State police, the FBI and folks from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are participating in the search for missing Kerra Wilson.
Kerra Wilson Description:
- Kerra, daughter of Amanda Lopez, was described as 4-foot-2 and weighing 78 pounds.
- She has brown, shoulder-length hair with red streaks in it. She was wearing a sky blue short-sleeved shirt, possibly with white numbers or letters.
- Kerra also was believed to be wearing darker blue cotton shorts and could be carrying a blue knapsack with strings that says, “Kids Fitness and Nutrition Day.”

UPDATE II: Sadly, but not unexpected after hearing the news accounts that came forth in the case of missing 8 year old Kerra Wilson, she has been found dead. The body of Kerra Wilson has been found … stepfather Salvador Carlos Lopez arrested for first degree murder and sexual assault.
Prosecutors charged a Nebraska man Friday with killing his 8-year-old stepdaughter a day after her body was found in a remote area several miles north of their home.
Salvador Carlos Lopez, 32, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kerra Wilson, according to court documents. Investigators found Kerra’s body Thursday evening in a rugged area of Sioux County — miles away from the family’s home — after a rancher reported seeing something suspicious.

She has been found. Her step-dad is being charged with sexual assault and murder!
Good police work. Now they need to take a good hard look at the mom.
How long has this pervert been living in the home and how did he get there?
When are WEAK females going to stop trading away the lives of their children to simply have a Man lying around the house?
It’s a sick cycle. These WOMEN (Egg donors) with NO SELF ESTEEM or basic sense between what is RIGHT and WRONG should also be held completely responsible as accomplices to the crimes of the Men they live with who murder their offspring.
WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP? Another child gone because an incompetent, unfit Egg Donor did nothing to protect her own flesh and blood. Despicable!

This poor lil girl I cant help to think that this sick pig did somthing to her well being in the home and maybe she told him she going to tell her mom or some one so he did what he did to her. He is frm CA . He moved over to NE with no family. It makes me think how do we no if he didnt do this be4 . And how did the mom not no anything about this guy . But get with him and let a sick man like that in her home. Makes me mad.
Wonder how many times little Kerra told her mother that something was wrong with that freak but mom had such a crush on him that she refused to believe her own child.

We are not sure if the mother did anything wrong .They where married in 2009 . i think she was going to tell and he killed her.I he rot in hell i say let him the NE men know how to take care of sicko like this
motherhood used to be sacred, now the child is a guaranteed welfare card and a string of boyfriends, plus drug supplier and no working for either mother or boyfriend/husband/whatever.
yes, this mother should be investigated and at the very least fixed so she can’t reproduce.

I knew this family when they were in kansas, before the mother married this guy her boyfriend before had molested all the girls and kids were then put with there grandparents then mom gets them back and meets this guy and the oldest did not want mom to marry him nor the other one but kerra liked him she was six or close to it then. they got married and kids were sent to live with there grandparents until they could get jobs and find there own place now kerra is dead. Mom needs to be looked at closer on any knowledge she may of had with him messing with the girls. Karra was such a sweet baby, so sad my heart goes out to the siblings and grandparents. If Mom had no knowledge of etc then she must be feeling pretty bad in her choice of men, she lost her little girl for good this time.
